Misato; Chihiro; Weapon
Name: Chihiro Misato
Nickname: Chi
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Race: Weapon Position: Student
Class: NOT
Partner: N/A
A Strong Body
Picture:
Appearance: Chihiro’s eyes are large and emerald green in color, framed by long, dark and thin eyelashes. Her curved eyebrows are also thin, but blonde like her hair. Her hair is styled in a shoulder-length hime cut, with two stubborn strands of hair that tend to stick up on the top of her head. Chihiro’s face is round with a small button nose, and her mouth is large and filled with straight white teeth. Her lips are thin and pale, closely matching her slightly pale skin tone. Her ears are angled but small, and her hair usually conceals them due to the length of it.
Chihiro is five feet and three inches tall. Her hands and feet are small, and her nails are never painted. She is thin, relatively fragile, and lacking any trained muscle in her body…except for in her lower back. This is a result of her breasts, which are very large and scale in at a 32DD cup. Chihiro is slightly pigeon toed when standing. As a result of surgery, Chihiro has a long scar on her back that traces the length of her spine.
Chihiro typically wears only traditional Japanese kimonos. Her favorite and signature kimono consists of a pink kimono with sky blue furi (sleeves below the arm hole) and sky blue bottom lining of the dress. The sky blue furi sleeves are embroidered with little multi-colored butterflies. A white lacey design is sewn onto the kimono’s collar, and Chihiro wears an orange date eri beneath the collar. The obi that Chihiro wears with her trademark kimono is dark navy blue in color and is tied in the common drum bow; the obi somewhat binds her chest, thus concealing the size of her breasts. Showing from underneath the obi in the front is a navy blue and sky blue checkered obiage. Tied around the obi is a deep pink obijime with a light pink obidome fastened onto the string in the front. For footwear, Chihiro wears white tabi socks and salmon pink and purple geta sandals. When working in the garden, Chihiro will go barefoot, remove her headband, and wear an apron over her kimono. When she is not gardening, Chihiro is usually seen wearing a white headband with a pink stripe down the middle and a coat over her kimono that fades, from top to bottom, from green, to white, and then to red. While on missions, for practicality Chihiro wears a school uniform instead of a kimono. This uniform consists of black shoes, a short, pink skirt with a black belt, tight white thigh highs, a pink headband with a white stripe down the middle, and a white collared shirt; it can also be noted that Chihiro’s breast size is very obvious without the binding of her obi. She also wears a feminized version of a black pinstriped tie, which is tied with a large bow instead of a simple knot.
Height: 5'3"
Weight: 135 lbs
Fighting Style: Chihiro lacks any battle experience or training. This, along with the fact that she cannot perform a partial transformation, renders Chihiro essentially helpless in battle without her meister. Her fragile and skinny body, as well as her large breasts (unless she remembers to wear a sports bra), also hinders her performance in physical activity. She is not a very fast runner, either.
If caught in a situation where Chihiro is without her meister and is facing an opponent, she will more likely run and hide than engage in combat. If forced to participate in hand-to hand combat, Chihiro would panic and flail her arms at the enemy, and probably attempt a few wild headbutts as well.
Personality: Chihiro is a kooky girl. She is sharp as a tack, which is obvious to anyone who interacts with her because of the things she will notice. Few things can go unnoticed with Chihiro, and she will point them out without a moment's hesitation. This can lead to accidental insults, those of which she is unaware and if alerted to them she will stutter and apologize profusely from embarrassment. Her intellect carries over into her school grades and battle strategies, often alerting her meister to oncoming attacks or offering advice for the next plan of action. She is rather fond of daily routines, as they give her a feeling of stability.
While awkward and not always in-tune with the correct way to go about social interactions, Chihiro still means well and desires to make friends. And she will try to do so. Unfortunately her efforts may include screaming a greeting at a classmate or two, or performing a random dance or song to catch someone's attention. These attempts of hers often end in failure, as she can easily weird people out without meaning to. However, those people who are willing to look past her strange tendencies will find a tender and loving girl who is loyal to her friends and relatively enjoyable to spend time around.
Chihiro rarely forgets anything. Therefore it is usually a bad idea to tell her a secret, because she will remember it and it is not beyond her to panic in a social setting and involuntarily blurt out said secret as means of finding something to talk about. She possesses many social anxieties and will often over-analyze situations. She also experiences severe secondhand embarrassment, and will abscond from a group of people if she witnesses an awkward situation occurring (this also applies to awkward situations in movies and TV shows.)
Inside the Soul
Weapon form: Chihiro’s weapon form is a yumi, specifically a Yonsun-nobi style, which is a bow used in Japanese archery. The yumi was an important weapon of the samurai warrior during the feudal period of Japan. The bow is asymmetric, with the grip located about two-thirds down from the upper tip of the bow. It is also characteristically tall, Chihiro’s yumi form being seven feet and eight inches long. Chihiro’s yumi form is mainly composed of dark brown laminated wood and bamboo; the string is traditionally made of hemp. Red, yellow, and black stripes are painted on different points along the bow’s length, symbolizing her German heritage. A green vine with leaves is engraved and painted above the grip of the bow, and when the bow is drawn by Chihiro’s meister the green vine glows as her meister’s soul wavelength is compressed.
Partial Form: Chihiro has been unable to successfully perform a partial transformation.
Abilities: Chihiro’s yumi form is meant to be drawn thirty-two inches back. For ammunition, the yumi has the ability to compress her meister’s soul wavelength and fire it at the target. This allows Chihiro’s meister to shoot his/her soul wavelength through the opponent. The attack is an arrow of wavelength (matching the color of her meister's soul) that fires through the enemy, causing both physical damage and soul damage to things in its path. The arrow has a definite end and beginning, and therefore is a projectile fired from the yumi’s string, but it leaves a residual glow as it travels through the air.

Hobbies: Those that manage to find their way into Chihiro's room will be bombarded with the sight of many, many stuffed animals. She collects them as a hobby and also tends to nestle in a giant pile of them to read manga or watch anime on her laptop. Usually the pile is so large that you can't even tell she's there. And yet, Chihiro has a name for each and every one of her stuffed critters, and she manages to never mix their names up.
Chihiro eventually settled for renting an apartment rather than staying in the girls' dorm, simply because she wanted her own porch garden. Her little balcony outside her room is its own little jungle full of various flowers and plants, all of which she cares and nurtures for herself. She also performs perfume experiments in her room, much to the annoyance of her flatmates as sometimes the smell is overpowering.

Aspirations: Chihiro desires to gain control of her weapon form and find a meister partner that can help her become stronger. Her ultimate goal is to finally reunite and travel the world with her older brother Klaus, but until then she simply desires to improve on her social interactions and form close relationships with the other students at Shibusen.
History: Chihiro’s father Daiki Misato, a weapon, and mother Gertrude Ackerman, a meister, met at Shibusen. Her father was an upper-middle-class Japanese man, while her mother was a working-class citizen from Germany. As time progressed, the two gradually fell for each other and married the day after graduating from the Shibusen, moving to Japan and settling down into a quaint home next door to Daiki’s older sister Hana. First, Chihiro’s older brother Klaus was born. After a five-year period, on April third at 6:01 in the morning, Chihiro was born. Her name’s meaning is “A thousand questions”, given to her by Daiki.
For the next two years, the Misato family raised their two children in a colorfully multicultural environment of both Japanese and German cultures. Chihiro’s mother spoke to her only in German from birth just as Klaus was spoken to, while Chihiro was also immersed in Japanese culture as a direct result of growing up inside Japan. Both Chihiro and Klaus resembled their mother’s appearance incredibly, as they all had blond hair, green eyes, and pale skin. Chihiro adored her older brother, always imitating him (much to the amusement of Daiki and Gertrude.) Chihiro also loved her Aunt Hana, a Japanese woman who strongly believed in tradition. Hana always dressed Chihiro in little kimonos and allowed the small child to play in her florist’s garden. All was well in the Misato family household…until one fateful night.
At this point in time, Klaus was seven-years-old and Chihiro two. Klaus was away from home having a slumber party for a friend’s birthday. Meanwhile, his parents and little sister went out on a walk together. Chihiro wanted to go watch the sunset and her parents obliged after much pestering. On their way back home from watching the sun set, Chihiro became nervous as she was scared of the dark (not unusual for children her age). Her parents began to explain to her how there was nothing to be afraid of, but then the family crossed paths with a powerful witch. The witch was attacking the area, so her Soul Protect was down and Chihiro's mother could sense her using her own Soul Perception technique. She and Chihiro's weapon father attacked the witch out of habit, leaving their daughter supposedly out of the witch’s range of attack, but the witch retaliated against the two adults with a large and deadly spell. Daiki and Gertrude died instantly from the witch’s spell, which attacked their nervous systems, while some of the spell’s magic managed to hit Chihiro at a distance, gravely wounding the little girl’s spinal cord. Coming upon the scene a little later, a passerby called the emergency hotline and had Chihiro rushed to the hospital. On the verge of death, Chihiro was placed in urgent care. Luckily her life was saved in time; however, it took Chihiro two full years to become healthy enough to be discharged from the hospital, and surgery left her with a permanent scar on her back that trailed down the length of her spine.
During her two year stay in the hospital, Chihiro was visited often by her brother and her Aunt Hana, who had become her new guardian. Usually such visits brought with them gifts of flowers from her aunt’s florist, which Chihiro loved to receive. Chihiro had no recollection of the events from that night; however, from that point on, she was subconsciously scarred and therefore terrified of dark places. To take advantage of Chihiro’s toddler forgetfulness, she was told by her aunt that she was in a car accident and that Mommy and Daddy went to a far-away place. When Chihiro asked why she had to stay at the hospital and couldn’t go with them, Hana responded by telling her that she got a booboo from the accident that the doctors needed to heal; Chihiro seemed to accept her aunt’s answer. Klaus, told by Hana that his parents died in a car crash, taught Chihiro German just as their mother once did in an effort to keep her memory alive in Chihiro’s mind. Through this method, Chihiro retained her memories of her parents and eventually became fluent in German like her brother was. Hana and Klaus eventually discovered that he had inherited meister genetics from his mother, as he was excelling at sports and most physical activities despite his young age.
Once Chihiro, now four, was finally discharged from the hospital and allowed to go live with her aunt and brother, she still required much physical therapy as a result of the damage done to her nervous system; eleven years of physical therapy, to be more exact. She was too weak and sickly to enroll in public school, so Chihiro instead spent her days helping out with her aunt’s florist and attending home schooling lessons, learning German at home from Klaus, and going to physical therapy. Because Chihiro did not attend public school and spent most of her time at home, she had little to no social interaction with other children and people, so the girl eventually grew to become socially awkward. However, the neighborhood children were kind enough to go out of their way to pay visits to Chihiro, some even befriending her. Hana would routinely pay Chihiro for her labor, sort of as an allowance, and Chihiro would cheerily run to the local store and buy herself manga and the odd stuffed animal or other cute object with the money she earned. “Auntie Hana” taught her niece everything she knew about horticulture, everything from the scientific names of different plants to various natural remedies for illnesses and injuries. Hana also taught Chihiro to love the plants and flowers and treat them with kindness as one would a friend. When gardening, Chihiro would sing a little German tune she made up to the plants in the florist’s garden; she believed that singing to the plants helped them to grow up stronger. As Chihiro grew older, she used her love and knowledge of horticulture to develop her own perfumes. Through trial and error, Chihiro successfully developed differently scented natural perfumes with the flowers and plants available to her in the garden. The perfumes were a hit and soon became a best-seller at the florist, much to her aunt’s pride and joy. However, the occasional person would come by that would declare their dislike for perfume. Chihiro would take such declarations personally, calling the person a “meanie” and stubbornly refusing to interact with them at all. Hana would then apologize to the customer and explain that Chihiro is truly a very sweethearted girl, but that sometimes she lets her emotions get the better of her and end up doing reckless things.
After Chihiro had recently turned ten-years-old, Hana decided to tell Chihiro and her brother, now fifteen, the truth behind the death of their parents. She also informed Chihiro that she may have inherited weapon or meister blood herself. Klaus, bent on avenging their parents’ death, decided to leave home to study as a meister at Shibusen. Chihiro broke into tears, begging for her beloved brother not to leave. With such a powerful and sudden wave of emotion, Chihiro made a complete transformation into her weapon form on the spot for the first time. Upon reverting back to her human body, Chihiro, now kneeling on the floor where her yumi form had fallen, was now twice as confused and desperate. She pleaded for a second time that Klaus wouldn’t leave her, but this time her voice was filled with fear and insecurity. He refused, explaining to her that both of them need to grow stronger in order to kill the witch that murdered their parents. He left the next day, but not before lovingly telling Chihiro to become healthier soon so they can see each other sometime in the future. Chihiro promised her brother that she would, and once her physical therapy was completed five years later, Chihiro lived up to her promise and enrolled as a weapon at Shibusen in hopes of eventually reuniting with Klaus.
Her now twenty-year-old meister brother is currently travelling the world with his partner as professional kishin egg/witch hunters. Seeing as Chihiro is enrolled in the NOT class, it will be quite some time before she would be able to see her brother again.
Extra Notes: Chihiro has a vast knowledge of plants, so she knows how to effectively treat different illnesses and wounds with herbal remedies and leafy bandages or ointments. However, her helpfulness as a medical aid in battle is negligible unless she is tending to the wounded on the sidelines. Sloppy makeouts.

“Ich werde zu allen Blumen singen, Weil de Blumen sind meinen Freundin. Behandelt das Saatgut mit Freundlichkeit und Liebe, Bewahrtet es froh zu das Ende.” (“I will sing to all the flowers, Because the flowers are my friends. Treat the seed with love and kindness, Keep it happy to the end.”)
Chihiro stopped singing after the first verse, wiping sweat from her forehead with the back of her right hand. She admired the fruits of her labor in front of her on the ground, studied the basket full of flowers to her right, and then jabbed her hand shovel into the air victoriously. <<Done!>> The blonde girl exclaimed, a wide and goofy grin upon her face. Chihiro gently placed the shovel on the ground as to avoid usurping any of the exposed soil. Standing up from her kneeling position, she wiped her dirty hands on her apron and then brushed them together afterward. Once her hands were only slightly soiled, Chihiro ran as fast as she could through the garden and to the back door of the residential part of her aunt's florist, throwing open the door and leaning inwardly. <<Auntie Hana!! I finisht planting the poppies!>> Not hearing a reply, a heavy-breathing Chihiro entered the florist and called for her aunt a second time in her slight German accent. <<Auntie Hana?!>> Chihiro walked into the kitchen, looking around the room for the woman. Aunt Hana wasn't in there, but a white envelope with a note attached laid on the counter. Chihiro picked up the envelope, peeling off the sticky note to read it. <<Oh, this is Auntie Hana's writing!>> Chihiro thought out loud, easily identifying the kanji on the note as her aunt's writing style.
Dear Chihiro,
I have gone out to the market today to buy us some more milk; you drink so much of it! A lady should not be such a glutton.
Chihiro nodded seriously, a stern expression upon her face. If Auntie Hana says so, it's important and she must remember that. The fifteen-year-old continued to read her aunt's note.
Anyway, in this envelope is your payment. I know I can trust that you've already completed today's work in the garden, so I've left it behind for you to take. Go buy yourself something you'll enjoy.
Love, Aunt Hana
Squealing with anticipation, Chihiro attacked the envelope, tearing it apart and jumping around with the yen in her grasp. <<Yayayay! Thank you, Auntie Hana!>> Chihiro placed the yen down on the counter, removed and hung up her apron, washed her hands completely in the kitchen sink, and then dashed out of the kitchen while clasping the yen to her chest. She stopped at the closet in the hallway and pulled out her kimono coat, yukata drawstring purse, headband, geta sandals and tabi socks. Lastly she slipped on her socks and sandals, and then threw the coat over her shoulders before stuffing her new yen into the small bag. Hesitating for a moment, she quicky reached into the closet and snatched out her headband, slipping it onto her head. Phew, almost forgot that. Satisfied, Chihiro grabbed her key to the house and then slid open the door that separated the florist store from the home. <<I am...I'm off!>> Chihiro declared, closing and locking the door behind her and then shuffling quickly through the store. She stepped outside, locked the front door to the florist, and then announced her motives to the world. <<Time to go buy more manga unt anime plushies!>> The teenage girl spun around and set off on her routine path to the general store. Completely oblivious to the strange looks people were giving her, Chihiro began to sing the rest of her gardening song as she trekked onward.
“Dann das Saatgut eine Blume bekommt, Zu die Sonneblueten verlaengert. Und ich werde zu allen Blumen singen, Weil de Blumen sind meinen Freundin.” (“Then the seed becomes a flower, To the sun blossoms extend. And I will sing to all the flowers, Because the flowers are my friends.”)
Chihiro was in a very good mood today. Not only was today payday, but Chihiro had also enrolled in her the school her big brother had gone too; Auntie Hana said she could because she recently finished her physical therapy. So Chihiro was to soon attend Shibusen as a NOT weapon; having inherited weapon blood from her father, she was well-qualified to enroll. A light blush of excitement brushed Chihiro's cheeks with pink, and she gazed up at the fluffy clouds above her in the sky.
<<Maybe I'll be able to see Big Bruder again soon...>>
