The weekend was here and while some students took this as a time to try and relax for even just a few days Tori was in an utter panic running around her kitchen. She had spent a good part of her morning down in the kitchen making some baked good for a simple reason. She had invited her weapon Dante and her, should she call him her boyfriend she had no idea, Levi over to hang out. Tori had been fine most of the morning but as soon as her mother had come into the kitchen that is when thing went wrong for her. Her mom had started talking to her and caused Tori to burn her first batch of cookies that she was making and thing just got bad from there. Tori was now running around covered in flour and chocolate and a few other things. Her mom was sitting not too far from watching her daughter run around in a panic. ”Victoria why are you freaking out so much? You need to calm down sweetie.”Tori turned to look at her mother holding a tray of cookies in her hands. How could her mother tell her to calm down? That was not going to happen any time soon. She had to get so many things done before the boys came over and now she was behind because the first batch of cookies burnt. ”Mum I can’t keep calm at least not while you are in the room.””Victoria how can you say such things to your mother?”Tori stopped at this as she placed the tray down and turned to look at the Irish woman across the room. She raised an eyebrow now at the smug smile her mom was giving her. ”Oh I don’t know Mum it’s probably because you keep distracting me and I keep burning things. Or maybe it’s because you keep making comments about me and Levi and now you and put me into a panic. Or it could be how you talk about how cute Dante is as well. I have no idea Mum.”Her mother laughed at this as she got up from the table and headed out of the kitchen and back into the front room. ”Oh Victoria you are just so cute when you get upset like this. I just wonder if Levi still has that garter you gave him~””MUM GET OUT!!” The woman left the room laughing as Tori stamped her foot her face now all red. She knew just what to say to make Tori all embarrassed but then again she was her mothers and wasn’t that her job? Tori walked over to the basket of baked goods she had made and started to head up stars to her room stopping for just a moment to call out to her father who was sitting on the sofa reading the paper. ”Papa when Dante and Levi get here can you just send them up to my room?”Her dad nodded his head showing that he was listening to her. Tori made her way up to her room placing the basket on the table in the middle of her room and running off to her bathroom to get cleaned up. Luckily for her no flour was on her clothing just her face. After getting cleaned up she made her way back over to the table and sat down founding her arms on the table and placing her head in them. ”Deep breaths Tori everything is going to be fine. It’s just the first time Dante and Levi are meeting I think?...Oh my god this was a really bad idea what am I doing!?’Tori sat back up in her chair clutching the table clothing under her hands. This could be a really bad idea Tori didn’t think this all the way through. She took a few for breaths to calm herself again. No it was going to be okay, everything was going to be okay. She was sure the two boys would get along. Hopefully and if not she would just have to fall off that bridge when she came to it.

Dante couldn’t name the last time he’d felt this nervous. It wasn’t tea that he was worried about; he’d had tea with Tori before. His Meister wasn’t what made him nervous; it was more the fact that he would be meeting the rather infamous Levi in addition to Tori for tea. No, he definitely could not remember the last time he’d been so nervous. It felt like there were angry pterodactyls in his stomach and he’d spent a fair amount of time wondering if it would be worth to call Tori and tell her he was sick just to avoid the whole thing. But no, that wouldn’t do. Knowing Tori she would either show up on his doorstep and drag him back to the shop with her or give him absolute hell for it at a later date. No, Dante was going and he would be on his very best behavior. Given the fact that he was meeting someone new and also that Tori seemed quite smitten with this Levi character, Dante had dressed slightly better than usual. He didn’t look formal but he looked put together at least which was saying something considering on the average day the blonde simply rolled out of bed and threw on whatever was clean and matched for the most part. He supposed knew Tori would probably have some sort of outfit put together for the occasion; after all she’d done so for the both of them for their last mission, no that he minded. He still had that outfit granted he hadn’t had anywhere else to wear it to yet. He was sure an occasion would present itself eventually. The closer he got to the shop that happened to also be Tori’s house, Dante could shake the subconscious thought of this not working the way they hoped. Levi was someone important to Tori, he knew that much from what he’d heard of him from the Brit, and so he would put his best foot forward. However, what he’d heard were mixed messages indeed. One minute Tori supposedly adored him, and then within seconds she was adamant that she wanted to throttle him. It sounded like love to Dante, but he doubted Tori had realized that yet. From what Dante knew from Tori alone, Levi sounded like a royal ass. Then again, the blonde would give him the benefit of the doubt. He didn’t want to draw any conclusions or judge the guy before he even properly met him. Tori had bothered to invite him and apparently liked him quite a bit even though she scarcely ever let that little fact slip. Dante knew a crush when he saw one, though, and so he figured for Tori to like him at all, there had to be good qualities to Levi that he would just have to see for himself. As the shop came into view, Dante paused for a moment on the other side of the street. Taking a deep breath, he looked both ways and then crossed. Better to be on time than stand fretting over things and be late. Tori would never let him hear the end of it, he could practically hear the lecture he’d get if he weren’t on time. Opening the door and wandering into the shop, he didn’t immediately spot anyone. Not wanting to go wandering lest he wind up trapped in the gears again somehow, Dante lingered in the shop area and called out to the Pelham family, “Hello? Tori, are you around? It’s Dante.”

It was the weekend and Levi had just completed the earliest of his usual training. He could have continued if it wasn’t for this meeting he was supposed to go to. He didn’t remember the specifics but apparently it involved meeting with Tori and her weapon. It would probably be a hassle but public appearances were a thing he needed to do every so often. He was somewhat curious about what this weapon was but didn’t hold many expectations. They were only a NOT class student after all. Plus he obviously had the best weapon even if she wasn’t a spectacular sword like Zegen.
The idea of bringing Irene crossed his mind but didn’t last long. She could do her own thing and hopefully make use of that time training so that she could get even a fraction closer to his level. Instead Levi cleaned up after his practice and got ready to go to Tori’s. Putting on the better of his usual attire his black jeans weren’t ripped or frayed anywhere and the sleeves of his jacket weren’t sliced open near his hands. Of course he had his glasses and no shirt but there was only so much that could be expected from him.
Opting not to bring his sword was a tough choice but they would be in a house so there wasn’t much chance he would need to fight anyone. There was also the fact that he didn’t want to scare this weapon too badly, he was to intimidate not terrify. He should be able to do the first part without much trouble so there was no need to bring his wondrous sword. Done figuring out what he was doing he headed out to get the whole thing started at least. Shades down he left for the shop to see how this went.
A short walk was all it took for him to come up to the shop where Tori resided, nothing of interest happening on the way unfortunately. Being exalted in song by that rainbow girl would have added to the whole day. No such luck though and a generally uneventful walk with the few odd peasants passing by. Reaching the shop he hesitated before walking in, his regular concerns presenting themselves. The door was still beneath him but he justified touching it with Tori’s state as his vassal. Opening the door he stepped inside not sure what to expect.
All he saw was some blonde kid slightly taller than him standing in the shop. Was this her weapon or some customer? He missed hearing him talk so Levi simply waited for something to happen to find out. He was here so Tori should come and start whatever it was she had planned soon.

As both boys walked into the shop the sound of a tingeing bell greeted them. Just something that simple was used to tell the Pelham family when someone had entered their shop while they were in the ‘back.’ Hearing the bell Tori’s father started to get up from his set to go and get the two but was pushed back down by his wife as she hurried past him.
”I’ll get them dear~ You just stay there.”
”Gwen behave yourself.”
”I always do~”
She said giving her husband a wink as she opened the door into the shop. The two boy where greeted by the short Irish woman she moved to Dante first because he was closer wrapping her arms around him in a hug and giving him a kiss on either side of his face. It was his first time really meeting Tori’s mother and she was just as short as her but far more plump with bright red hair.
”Dante Ciao! Quindi, piacere di conoscerti.” (Dante Hello! So nice to meet you.)
Her Italian was flawless it sounded like she had spoke it her whole life. If it wasn’t for the fact that the other boy in the room had already meet the woman they could both be easily fooled that she was Italian. The tiny woman let go of Dante and took a step to the side and gave Levi a bow now. Unlike her daughter Gwen knew how to acted in front of royalty.
”Prince Levi always nice to see you. If you boy wont mind fallowing me Victoria is waiting for you in her room.”
Her Irish accent was very thick it was a wounder how she spoke Italian so well. The woman turned around a motioned for the two to fallow her into the home. It was a quaint little home in the back of the shop and all the furniture looked like it was out of the Victorian area. It seemed like Tori’s parents adopted the steampunk feel as well. Tori father gave both the boys a node as they walked by. Tori’s mother took them up the stairs to the top floor. She lead them over to Tori’s door and knocked on it.
”Victoria you’re friends are here.”
For a second there was no answer then a sound so something being knocked over and hurried footsteps as Tori flung open the door. Her mother looked at her with a raised eyebrow and Tori gave her a sheepish smile back. Her mother shook her head and started heading back down stairs.
”Don’t brake anything.”
”I make no promises Mum.”
She called back down to her mother. She gave the two boy a grin and moved out of the was of the door allowing the to enter her very large room. She was still so nervous but seeing as they at lest made it up to her room in one peace that was a good sing. Right?
”Come in you two I umm... Madesomebiscuitsandteaforyouboth.”
Word vomit that is what that was called. She was so nervous she just word vomited in front of Dante and Levi. She could smack herself in the forehead for that but that might just look a little odd at this point. She just hoped neither one of them picked up on that but she was sure they did. Tori’s room was the largest room in the house to say the least and the window was the face of the clock tower. It seemed like Tori had tried to clean up but her room was just littered with gears and clock bits on tables and just like the rest of the house all of her furniture was Victorian style. When both boys where in the room she shut the door behind them taking a deep breath. Well they where both here she could only wounder what was going to happen for the rest of the time.

As Dante stood idly waiting for either his Meister or one of her parents to appear, another entered the shop. On the one hand it could be Levi, but since the blonde had never seen him he had no way of knowing for sure. Then again if looking like a general piece of work was the only criteria, the green haired boy certainly had that down. Dante gave him a nod of acknowledgement but said nothing in case he was just a customer happening to stop in.
Thankfully a woman who Dante assumed was Tori’s mother appeared shortly and saved the both of them from any prolonged awkward silences. He was admittedly surprised by both the greeting and hearing his mother tongue coming from her. Was Tori half Italian? No, she sounded way too proper and acting a bit too stand-offish for that to be true. All the same, he returned the hug given to him as well as the kisses and gave the plump woman his most dashing smile,
“Signora Pelham, è bello conoscerti finalmente. Spero che tu stia bene.” ((Mrs. Pelham, it’s lovely to finally meet you. I hope you are well.))
As Tori’s mother went on to greet the other young man present, it became apparent that he was indeed the Levi that Dante had heard so much about. But wait, did she just say prince? Tori had said a lot of things about Levi, most of them in conflicting ways that made no sense whatsoever, but she’d never mention anything about being a prince! A bit stunned, Dante blinked but quickly regained his sense. He should say something at least, Levi was a prince. Donning a gentle grin, the blonde bowed as best he knew how,
“Ah, so you’re Levi! I am Dante Giovanni, Tori’s Weapon. It is an honor to meet you, your highness.”
From talking with Tori, Dante expected anything from a regular greeting to total assholery in return. Still, it never hurt to be polite when meeting someone new. The day was certainly getting interesting to say the least. Moreover, Tori’s mother now had a very thick Irish accent. What in the world was going on with this woman? Her pronunciation and accent had been flawless speaking to Dante, but hearing her now the blonde wondered how she hadn’t let the Irish slip through. Granted Dante had no room to talk considering he himself could speak English and keep his own accent at bay unless he had a need of it like in their last mission. Nothing wrong with flaunting a thick Italian accent as a means of showing off now and then, at least in his mind.
Dante followed after Tori’s mother. He knew where his Meister’s room was only from having had tea with her before. Granted this time was without her rescuing from certain death by gears in the clockwork. Probably for the best. He heard something being knocked over before Tori opened the door. Was that sheepishness in her smile? This day just got stranger and stranger. Regardless, as his Meister stepped to the side he entered the room before turning to stand beside her.
The blonde barely caught the end of his Meister’s sentence. Her glanced at Levi and raised an eyebrow. Was she always like this around him or was it just Levi and Dante meeting that had her on edge? At any rate, the blonde couldn’t just let it slide without calling her on it, though he was sure he’d probably get hit. If it got Tori back in her proper mindset of constantly fuming, it would be worth it. Placing his hands on his hips, Dante gave his Meister a sly grin,
“Mio Dio, I never thought I’d see the day! Tori are you…nervous~?”
All was said in a very characteristically mocking tone. He didn’t mean any of it, of course, and he knew Tori would know that. He was just giving her shit. Hopefully it would help shock her out of her brief moment of shyness. It didn’t suit her at all.

Patience was not something Levi was fond of displaying but luckily he didn’t have to wait long for someone to acknowledge him. He expected Tori to be the one to meet him but her mother seemed to be the one to welcome him. She went over to the blond kid first which confirmed that he was most likely Tori’s weapon. Her greeting him first was an annoyance but whatever she said must have not been important or interesting since he didn’t understand it. At least she knew well enough to bow when greeting him as well as to properly refer to him as a prince.
Levi gave Tori’s mom a simple nod in return. Proper greeting were so hard to come by in Death City, at least ones that fit his standing. It seemed Tori’s weapon caught on that he was in the presence of greatness and responded accordingly. The bow was correct and he did address him as your highness but it could have been better. Still it was better than most peasants tried to greet him with so Levi could manage some sort of response. Regarding the weapon Levi gave the faintest of nods to acknowledge his existence.
“I’m sure.”
Done with that he complied with the request to follow Tori’s mother. Heading up the stairs and to where Tori was presumably waiting. She knocked on a door that must have led to where Tori was. There was some noise on the other side but he didn’t put too much thought into it. Soon enough the Brit emerged and invited the two in albeit she was having some issues with her talking. Levi caught most of what she spewed out and it still felt odd hearing biscuits instead of cookies, or rather koekjes. Either way he begrudgingly followed the weapon into the room.
Levi glanced around the room as he walked in. It was certainly different than what he was used to. Rooms in places he stayed were generally bigger but he figured this wasn’t too bad for someone not of royal class. Standing in the room as Tori closed the door he waited to see what would happen next. Dante made his comment and Levi simply defaulted to his usual grin while waiting to hear her response. There was plenty of time to embarrass Tori still and with Dante here it should be even more fun.

Well Tori was feeling nervous and all is it a little sheepish that is until her weapon had to open his big Italian mouth. Her nose scrunched up for a half second as her shoulders rose at the comment. If his goal was to snap her out of it than Dante achieved that. It only took her less than a second for her fist to make contact with his arm. She hit him and she hit him hard not feeling the urge to hold anything back. She brought her fist back down her to side and glared at her weapon. ”You should have known better than to say that. I am not nervous your eyes must be playing tricks on you.”She turned back to see that Levi had that grin on her face and it caused a light shade of red to form on her cheeks. Now this wasn’t a blush but merely a reaction of being very irritated by two people in less than a few seconds apart. She points at Levi now not fully lifting her hand up but it was high enough to get her mood across to him. ”Wipe that stupide grin off your face or I will do it for you.”Threats and violence now aside Tori walked over to the table that she had all set up for the three of them. It looked like a typical afternoon tea set up with a tray in the middle with cookies and tea cakes and the like step up on them. There was three tea cups set up with saucers one with a rose pattern, one with a prince and a princess on it, and the last that was obviously Tori’s was a more Victorian than the other two. She pulled out one of the chair of the old, but fancy, looking table and sat down crossing her arms over her chest and one leg over the other. She raised an eyebrow at the two boys and pointed to the cups indicating that Dante had the rose one and Levi had the prince and princess one. ”Well are you two going to join me or am I going to have drink all this tea be myself? Oh and Levi you don’t have to worry about sitting on a commoners chair this table and chairs once belong to the royal family in France. I know it’s not Dutch but I’m sure you can get over it.”The acted of poking fun at Tori only caused the tiny Brit to become very sassy now and it was way too clear that even if someone happened to be a prince in the room she wasn’t and hadn’t addressed him as that at all. She uncrossed her arms now leaning a bit over the table to point that the three tea kettles that were also on the table. ”Green, Black, Barrie.”She was pointing out what types of tea were in them but she had no desire to say the specific types of teas. It was merely a general statement for the two boys. She reach over to grebe the black tea and poured herself a cup and without even looking up spoke to the two again. ”I’m not sure if you two introduced yourselves yet so Dante, Levi, Levi Dante.”She did a very quick and very lazy introduction. She didn’t even bother to look up for moved her hands to indicate to the other. She was starting to get this sinking feeling in her stomach that having these two in the same room might only cause her problems tonight so she wanted to get a jump on the sarcasms before one of them, probably Dante, would.

The blond knew the hit was coming before Tori even drew her arm back. He’d expected it, and if she hadn’t hit him, Dante’s next assumption would have been to check for a fever. His Meister may have been little, but she was fierce. As the pain landed in his upper arm and ebbed up so far as his shoulder, he rubbed the spot where he fist at landed and winced,
“Merda!”
The word was wheezed more than said, but was still perfectly audible. Well, it still didn’t hurt nearly as bad as when she’d literally slapped the madness right out of his skull and likely halfway to China. Rolling his shoulder as a means of trying to make the lingering sting subside, he tried not to snicker too loudly at her comment to Levi before sparing the prince a glance,
“There’s the Tori we know.”
With the Brit appearing thoroughly steamed at Dante’s comment, the Sicilian was more than hopeful that she wouldn’t become more nervous and need more jarring words sent her way. He’d rather keep his arm unbroken and his shoulder in its socket, a status which could be easily disrupted should Tori decide to hit him again. The blond knew she could hit like a train, but damn if she hadn’t held back on that one. He could feel the bruise forming already.
Ebbing pain and threats of future pummeling courtesy of Tori aside, it did appear as though she’d gone all out in her preparations. Cookies and cakes alike awaited them and Dante, being a cook himself, couldn’t help but wonder just how talented his Meister was in the kitchen. She didn’t strike him as the culinary type, but he supposed he would find out by the way things tasted. There was quite the stigma about British food, one that he was well aware of, but all Tori had set out for the three of them certainly looked nice enough and perfectly edible.
Of course she would give him the rose teacup, not that Dante would be voicing any complaint. For one, he had to admit that it was pretty, but he also had no desire to be knocked in the arm again by a pissed off Brit. In addition, he also now knew that Levi was Dutch. Judging by Tori’s wording, he may also have an issue with France. Dante couldn’t blame him, but only because France was permanently Dante’s culinary rival given he was Italian, even if he’d always proclaim Sicily as his heritage first.
Dante couldn’t tell whether his Meister’s erratic behavior was because she was still nervous or because he’d caused her to be filled with thinly veiled fury. Only time would tell, but he hoped it was the former since that would mean less punching and shrieking. Taking his seat, Dante subconsciously leaned slightly away from Tori. It wasn’t intentional, more a reflex just in case. At Tori’s impromptu introduction he gave another gentle smile towards Levi and then turned his attention back to the Brit,
“We had somewhat of an introduction downstairs.”
But the Italian wasn’t quite through with giving her shit just yet. The blond really should have known better, arm still aching a bit, but apparently the opportunity was just too good. Sly grin reappearing on his face, he tilted his head Tori’s way,
“Really though, Tori, you could have mentioned that Levi was a prince! All that talking you do about him and not once did you mention that you were trotting around Death City with royalty.”
If anything, Dante wanted to know Levi’s reaction to what he was saying, glancing over at the green haired young man as he finished his sentences. If he could somehow avoid getting hit to the point of obtaining a concussion and manage not to insult either his Meister or the prince too terribly, then maybe this whole tea thing wouldn’t be so bad after all.

Watching the interactions between Tori and her weapon Levi would just see what happened. His comment was amusing and Levi was interested to see how Tori responded. He was amused to see her reaction was pretty much what he would have expected from her. It was almost reassuring that he wasn’t the sole target to her violence and that others had the same fate. As she set her wrath toward him Levi complied out of coincidence and adapted a more neutral expression instead of his grin. Tori didn’t waste much time and managed to bring his attention over to the table in the room.
Looking at the table itself as well as its contents Levi pieced enough of it together. So this was the contents of this little tea party? Certainly smaller than what he was used to but that was to be expected considering the circumstances. From the assembled tea cups he guessed at which one was to be his through the process of elimination. Tori obviously had the more Victorian one for herself and there was no way he was using that pathetic looking rose one. With Tori already at the table she made it clear they were to join her.
Her comment about the table was met with mixed opinions as far as Levi was concerned. Yes it wasn’t common furniture but…France. A sneer of disgust momentarily took his face but vanished soon after. He could manage with the French objects as long as they were more competent in their jobs than the entire French town he had just visited. Taking his seat he picked up the cup in front of him to get a better look. At least there was gold on it but was this really what people thought princes were like? The thought was nearly laughable to him. Even Levi knew that that sort of cape was pathetic looking.
At the mention of introductions her weapon took care of responding. His name was simple enough for Levi to remember but that was only natural, Levi remembered everyone he met. Now if Levi would actually refer to him by his name was another matter entirely. So far he had done nothing to deserve being called by name so he would be Tori’s weapon or some other such title until then. Setting the cup back down he heard her weapon speak again and catch his interest ever so slightly.
What he said did intrigue him ever so slightly. Having people talk about him, especially frequently and around others, was something he enjoyed a great deal though he didn’t expect such a thing from Tori of all people. Though the lack of acknowledgement to his royal status was a tad vexing, that was the most important thing he needed spread around. The more people who knew he was a prince the better his chances of people treating him with the respect he deserved.
”I’m surprised, you’re talking about me. And leaving out the most important part at that.”

As the two boys sat down at the table Tori gave a glance to Levi as she watched him pick up the cup and look at it. She gave a small laugh to herself knowing that Levi would have found the picture of the prince painted on the cup laughable and she was quite surprised that he hadn’t pointed it out. She wouldn’t tell him this but she had mostly picked the cup for Levi because it was from the Netherlands meaning it was Dutch. It just happened to also have the prince and princess on it.
Tori had begun to power herself some of the black tea when Dante started talking. She looked to him as she slowly set down the kettle and gave a slight cock of her head at his comment and spoke to him in a way to innocent voice.
”I have no idea what you are talking about Dante.”
Oh it was very true that she had vented to Dante about Levi and she may have even let her feelings about the prince slip once or twice. But Levi didn’t need to know any of this and if Dante was going to be a little shit than Tori would just ignore those comments. Last thing she needed was for Levi to find out that she had been talking about him. When Levi chimed in now she turned her head to look at him still wearing that way to fake innocent look.
”Oh, I’m not and even if I was I wouldn’t say that your prince title was the most important part about you.”
The words came out and only after she said them did they sink in. That comment could take on way more of a meaning. Her hands shot up quickly as she waved them around in front of her. Her cheeks had turned read now as her eyes widened.
”Oh my gosh that is not what I mean!”
Tori had to than cover her mouth because the voice that came out was very high pitch and it took the Brit by surprise. Her voice only went that high when she was embarrassed about something. The hands that were covering her mother now moved to cover her face as she was trying to hide her blush. In all honestly she was trying to hide it from Dante and not Levi. Levi got to see the full range of her emotions as the dance and all her lovely shades of pink and red that formed of her face that night. No if Dante saw her she knew she was going to get even more shit from her weapon than she was going to get from Levi.
”Ohgodkillmenow.”
Tori muttered from behind her hands. She was doing so well till she had that little slip up and now she knew she was going to be paying for it. She would get no mercy from these boys she just knew it.

Dante honed in on what Levi had added with immediately? Either they interacted less than he’d originally thought or Tori had purposefully failed to mention how often the topic of Levi came up in conversation. He couldn’t exactly blame her for the last one since apparently he hardly needed the ego boost, even if he seemed perfectly fine for now. It was difficult to battle the grin trying to form on his face, but Dante couldn’t appear too pleased with himself or he might get hit again. He was surprised that Tori’s reaction was as restrained as it was, but then again she was British. Maybe he was safe for now, for whatever reason.
As Tori set down the kettle holding the black tea, Dante took his turn in pouring some. It would be interesting to hear what she said to Levi’s comment; unfortunately it wasn’t nearly as interesting as he’d hoped. She was good at the whole calm thing, even if he’d never seen Tori quite so, well, quiet. Of course when she suddenly grew embarrassed and made the follow up comment Dante had no choice but to realize the alternate meaning of the statement and nearly dropped the kettle, managing to place it back down on the table successfully with great difficulty.
The blond had to bite his tongue hard in order to avoid laughing and of course inevitably causing her anger to flare up. To be fair it was Tori’s fault. Dante hadn’t even caught the double meaning until she’d pointed it out so he held no blame yet; however it was becoming increasingly hard to withhold his laughter. Inevitably starting to snicker, he at least turned his face away from his Meister. She could punch him in the arm all she liked, but his face was another matter. He didn’t do this until after he’d seen her face go completely red though.
After managing not to lapse into a fit of giggles, Dante managed to shoot a highly skeptical look towards Tori, raised eyebrows and all,
“Sure, Tori, sure it wasn’t.”
Was he probably going to get punched again? In all likelihood yes, but at least he expected it this time around. Still avoiding eye contact with his very red and very flustered Meister, Dante braced himself for another punch for the arm, although after that he expected more of a tea kettle to bash him upside the head. Only time would tell. He could only hope that Levi commented too so that he wasn’t the only one on the receiving end of Tori’s condensed, British fury.

The blond one moved in to grab the tea kettle before he had a chance, going last for something left a bad taste in Levi’s mouth. Honestly he should be first for most if not everything! Tori’s going first was reasonable, it was her house and all, but Dante lacked the right to go before Levi. Normally this would have been met by a show of force, possibly just grabbing the kettle and rightfully claiming it but he decided to control himself so he would. Last thing he needed to do was do something and break Dante accidently, he looked fragile enough for it to happen.
It seemed he was in the process of putting the kettle down when Tori made her comment. He could see what she meant but that didn’t detract from how the words came out. His composure remained much the same, unlike how Dante’s changed, not gaining the same amusement out of such low humor. A smile still showed on his face but that was practically a constant with Levi in some form or another. While the comment itself wasn’t the most amusing Tori’s embarrassment was certainly enough to make up for it, the hand motions only made the show better.
Now that everyone and their mother wasn’t picking up the tea kettle that he wanted Levi grabbed it and poured some into his cup. Honestly pouring his own tea was not something he imagined himself doing, everyone should be like him and have people for that. If only he could have brought some of his people over with him to take care of such matters. On second thought they would bother him too much with their worries and commentary, that was why he tried to avoid them in the first place back home. Finally having his tea Levi set the kettle down and affixed Tori with a grin.
”Really now? Then what would you say is the most important part about me?”
Levi couldn’t just let the opportunity pass now that Tori had backed herself into such a corner. Whatever sort of answer she gave would be amusing or at least would prove to be entertaining. Tori’s little get together didn’t seem to be going the way she planed but was amusing to Levi so it was at least in some sense a success.

Tori’s eyes grew wide as she looked at her weapon the bright red from her cheeks still not fading. She knew this was going to happen but the look on Dante’s face as he tried his very best not to laugh only upset her more. She was embarrassed and his words did nothing to help her out. It was all too common for Tori’s anger to get the better of her and it was beginning to bubble up again.
”S-Shut up Dante!”
Tori raised her has as his to smack him in the arm but it was honestly lucky for the weapon that Tori attention went back onto Levi. Her hand was frozen in a mid-fist as she just started at Levi wide eyed. It wasn’t possible for her face to get any darker of a shade of red so that was a little lucky for her but her heart felt like it was going to pop right out of her chest.
How the hell was she supposed to answer his question and sound disinterested in him at the same time. He had already done it once and she was still coming to grips with herself that she was even dating this guy sitting next to her. But there was no one to be blamed here but Tori. She was the one that had a slip of a tongue and she was paying for it now.
”Hummm well it’s…”
She opted out from looking at him now rather she started into the cup of tea in front of her placing both of her hands down on her lap now. Her posturing and every inch of her was screaming that she was super uncomfortable now. But she had to say it now didn’t she? If she didn’t she was sure to get bothered more about it and rather do it down while Levi still had that damn grin and Dante was to busy trying not to get his face punched.
”Well I guess it would be that… You’re not a push over like other guys. Like Dante here!”
And with that Tori kicked the chair right out from underneath Dante bumb. She had calmed herself down enough to look at her weapon on the floor now giving his a death glare. But more importantly she came up with something that was in fact important to her and couldn’t be thrown back in her face. She also got her revenge out on Dante at the same time so it was a win win for the Brit at the moment.
”You really have a death wish today don’t you?”

Dante did wonder if he was being a bit too much. Then he remembered exactly who his Meister was. Nah, she can handle it, he thought. His assumption was only proven when he saw Tori’s hand come up yet again, aimed for his arm just like the last time. Dante vaguely stiffened and shut one eye, bracing himself for the inevitable when something miraculous happened. Tori froze. The Sicilian could scarcely believe his eyes. Tori? Stopping mid-swing? It had to be a sign, though of what he wasn’t certain, granted love was his first guess. After all, it was Levi who had distracted her.
The blonde’s gaze followed Tori’s hand as it slowly fell. What in the nine hells was going on? This was entirely uncharted territory. Noting the deep blush on his face, Dante decided to for once take his lucky chance and run with what was happening, opting to stay silent rather than remark on it. He even resisted grinning, granted that was partly because he was still staring quite hard at the other two present, switching between looking at Tori like he expected her to sprout wings next and then occasionally at Levi like he was magic.
Dante was actually a bit curious as to what Tori would answer. Most of what he tended to hear about Levi from her end was, well, complaining. She would rant about him and barely stopped long enough to breathe sometimes, but of course there had been moments where he noticed her gaze softening as it was now. The Sicilian watched his Meister closely. The staring at the tea in her cup rather than Levi, how she held herself, the look on her face. Dante glanced at Levi one more time and then leaned back a bit in his chair, hiding the small smile forming on his face by sipping his tea. He wondered if Tori realized yet.
Never was Dante more thankful for having successfully landing a cup on the table then when he felt the chair was kicked out from under him. He’d been poised to comment on exactly what about him was a pushover but that thought left him once he felt gravity grab a hold and yank him down onto the floor. Landing with a dull thud, he managed to keep from falling completely flat and hitting his head, though he did still wince. His eyes had shut, and for a moment he kept them that way before slowly opening them, glancing first at the char and then to his Meister, “Okay, I’ll admit, I did deserve that. But did the chair?”
Sitting up just a tad, Dante opted to remain seated on the floor for a moment. Hearing Tori’s remark, he couldn’t help but grin a tad lopsidedly as he looked up at her, “Not particularly. If I wanted to make you that mad I would have…” The Sicilian paused, thought of possible outcomes that would most certainly end with Tori or Levi or even both throwing him off the clock tower roof, and promptly shut his mouth. Smiling sweetly, he stood and went about setting the chair back up, “On second thought, I’d rather keep all of my teeth where they are.”

As much as Levi didn’t like thinking about him working with anyone he had to accept that between himself and Dante they managed to make Tori the center of amusement. It was just too much fun watching her go through various stages of embarrassment and see what she came up with to deny her own state. It could have involved more talking on his part but saying just what was needed had a certain appeal to it. Plus saying less put the brunt of retaliation on the blonde one and not himself. Having someone else cover for his actions like that almost reminded him of home.
He did manage to spare the weapon a little of the retaliation as his words managed to bring her act to a halt and freeze her momentarily. Waiting to hear what sort of answer Tori managed to come up with was half the fun but getting such interesting responses in the process only added to the experience. Part of his curiosity was hearing what Tori came up with considering she most likely wouldn’t say anything too direct or obvious, it was still Tori after all. Her hesitation only added to his assumption.
Levi waited as she thought about how to answer the question and the weapon remained mostly silent probably in anticipation of an answer as well. Seeing that Tori avoided looking at him and remained in a position where her tea became the center of attention was amusing and only added to the anticipation of her answer. When she went to speak it was clear that she was the focal point of the room but it really was too late to get out of the situation now. Despite the situation it was still Tori so he couldn’t expect things would go too simply.
So that was her answer? Well he couldn’t exactly say she was wrong with that. Levi’s grin remained as he was satisfied enough with that answer. Dante however was less fortunate as his chair managed to vanish from under him and he was subjected to the cruel law of gravity. Not surprising to see it happen but still mildly amusing at the least. He handled the loss of a chair well enough so there was no reason to think much about it, not that he particularly would anyway. Their dynamic was interesting to watch and vastly different from that of himself and Irene. Comparing the two was almost a challenge because of the many differences.
Dante seemed to have something else to say but stopped himself on what Levi could only assume was his better judgment. There was only so much Tori could be flustered before she would potentially become hazardous for the weapon’s health. The last display was enough for Levi so there was no real need to push her anymore. Looking over at the other meister he remained calm and generally expressionless with just the remnants of his usual grin.
”Well I guess that is true, a pushover is not something one would describe me as.”
Done speaking for the moment he took a sip f his tea before returning his gaze to Tori to see what she decided to do next.
