A Strong Body

Appearance:
Lavender has pastel pink hair that reaches her waist in long waves, immaculately done and well-cared for, usually in braids, long pigtails or, if she leaves it down, pinned back from her face with clips or ribbons. She cuts her bangs straight across her forehead. Her eyes are a light blue, usually accentuated with (at the very least) mascara, but it isn't unusual to see her with eyeliner or eyeshadow in light and shimmery colors. As well, she never leaves home without applying some form of lip gloss or lipstick. Her face is heart-shaped and very youthful, making her look a couple years younger than her eighteen years.
She's very thin, waif-like in build and quite short. Everything about her seems dainty - from her painted nails and small hands to her petite build and her tiny size four feet. Lavender loves dresses and lace - she is often seen wearing dresses or skirts reminiscent of Lolita fashion, and wears quite a lot of pastels and pinks, coupled with matching (and numerous!) accessories. She loves frills, pink, long socks, and patterned outfits that are as eclectic as they are elegant. She always wears heels, if only to make her seem taller! She dresses to the nines, and will very rarely be seen in anything more casual than a fancy dress.
Height: 5’1”
Weight: 110 lbs
Fighting Style:
Lavender is very straightforward, the kind of person to rush in, strike, and then fall back and wait for another opening. Due to her boxing background, she is an opportunist and can see a way to capitalize on many situations, whether it's getting the best deal on a pair of pink pumps or gaining the upper hand in battle. She doesn't go in for dirty tricks, but prefers to get things over with quickly, attacking fast and hard.
Personality:
The petite pinkette may be used to getting everything she wants, but don't think her completely spoiled! Lavender is quite accommodating and has a fairly good sense of balance, even though she may be more worldly than most people. She is a very charismatic and opinionated young lady, helpful and kind at her best. At her worst, she can be pigheaded and too set in her ways, disliking to leave her comfort zone and thoughtless of others. She also hates to admit ignorance, often lying to cover up her own shortcomings and feigning intelligence where she has none (obviously or not). She's quite smart and a quick learner, but like most people, there is a world of things she knows nothing about - failure in any subject rankles at her and Lavender takes it very harshly. She works hard and truly wishes to learn what she can, often taking failure personally and ruminating on it longer than necessary. Because of her wealth and status, she can often come across as snooty and spoiled, especially if she’s refusing to dirty her hands. She’s very clean and dislikes anything that will soil her clothing or hair, but hypocritically when it comes to boxing she gladly embraces the sweat and blood.
That being said, it's very easy to please her! She may be easily bored, but she makes up for it by being easily amused and easy to distract. Bribes of cake and candy work wonders, and any gift (no matter how small) is never forgotten and usually repaid. She has a good sense of humor and can hold her own in snarkiness, but insults and slights are taken very seriously. Lavender never intentionally badmouths anyone, preferring to see the good sides of them and maintaining a happy optimism about the world at large that makes her come across as a bit naive. She riles up pretty quickly (as well as being easily excited), but simmers down just as quickly. She dislikes arguments and tires of them quickly, willing to concede just to be finished, even if she was in the right, but get her worked up about the right subject and she'll burst into frustrated tears. It bothers her to see people taken advantage of or be used, and although she tries to maintain a dignified aloofness she will stand up for people and fight on their behalf.
Lavender is easy to get along with, chatty and a natural socialite and extrovert, although she often slides into a snooty demeanor if she isn't careful. She loves to see and be seen, and she loves to dress up and make up anyone she can get her hands on. She follows fashion avidly, pouring over magazines and usually up to date with the latest fads and trends (although she doesn't feel the need to follow them - her sense of style is a little off the grid and wholly unique to her). All in all, Lavender is a sweet girl, a shoulder to cry on in bad times and a loyal and unwavering pal.
Inside the Soul
Weapon form:
Lavender takes the form of a Queen Anne Pistol. It's a small handheld pistol that boasts quite a lot of power despite being small enough to conceal in the coat or pocket. Lavender's weapon form is a bit longer than a usual Queen Anne, at 12 inches long from tip of the barrel to the tip of the handle. It has an old-fashioned look to it (it became popular in the early 18th century, after all!) and has silver designs inlaid into the handle. The gun does not shoot regular bullets, but small energy bursts typical of most Demon Guns. It can fire 6 shots before it must reload, during which time the Miester would have to gather wavelength and focus it into bullets.
Partial Form: By curling her ring and pinkie fingers and extending her pointer and middle fingers to make the shape of a gun with her hand, Lavender can turn her the extended two into the barrel of a gun.

Hobbies:
In her free time, Lavender likes to do a lot of self-improvement. She's very into makeovers and nail polish, trying on clothing and flipping through some of her many, many fashion magazines. As well, she makes quite a lot of her own clothing, often at work at her sewing machine and researching patterns for her next masterpiece! Although she is very into clothing and fashion, she rarely shops outside, preferring to order everything online or from a magazine. She doesn't worry about ill fits - she ends up altering most of her purchases anyways and has gotten quite good at it.
However, hidden from many people she knows, Lavender also loves boxing, and although she had to train in secret from her father back in England, in Nevada she struck a deal with her father and now is able to take lessons without having to sneak around.

She’d like to balance all three, but admits it’s quite a lot, and would settle for being the best in at least one category.
History:
Lavender Constance Pratchett was the only daughter of novelist Duke Eugene Geld and the famous boxer Richard Pratchett, who were married in a blaze of publicity ("Romance Novelist Lives His Newest Book, 'The Duke's Secret Love'") and then settled down in Surrey. Duke Geld began working on his new book and Richard, after a horrible boxing injury that forced him to retire a couple months previous, was looking forward to some peace and quiet. After Lavender was born (the fathers found a lovely woman to be a surrogate mother) they moved back to London, to promote Duke Geld’s newest book (“The Tragedy of the Forbidden Love”).
The pinkette's childhood was indulgent but fair - she was born into great money, after all, but her fathers were extremely devoted and Lavender grew up with minimal "Spoiled Princess" tendencies. She was creative and affluent, kind and stalwart, and the family was extremely happy. Lavender was given everything she ever wanted – except boxing lessons. After Richard’s injury, he became worried that Lavender, delicate as she was, would take up the sport and get hurt, so he forbade her for doing it, and although she pointed out many flaws in his arguments, he remained resolute. There would have been no issue, except for this put Lavender in an awkward position – she had never had wanted anything more than to do boxing, and wished with all her heart to take lessons. She began spending longer at school, claiming to be studying or practicing ballet, but she began taking lessons in secret from one of the upperclassmen on the boxing team.
The boxing lessons were held in secret for the next year and a half and went very well, so when her parents suddenly announced they were moving to America she was extremely put out. Why Nevada? It was unfair and she hated the idea. Like any normal 17 year old faced with sudden relocation, she pouted and whined and finally her dads sat her down and told her she was behaving extremely childishly and needed to calm down and listen to them. She did, reluctantly, as they told her of a certain genetic trait that ran through the Geld side of the family. Lavender had not yet noticed anything about herself, but she was a late bloomer and Eugene told her that as she entered puberty, she'd start changing. He quickly added "no, not in the usual ways" as soon as he caught his daughter's facial expression. They told her all about Demon Weapons and a special school for children with this ability. As they talked, Lavender regarded them as if they were crazy, and crossed her arms and refused to talk, pointing her petite nose in the air. Duke Geld, at his wit's end with his sloppy arguments and out of ideas, finally said, "You'd be like a superhero," and within the hour Lavender had half her room packed and ready to go (after sending word to her secret boxing teacher about her sudden move).
Unfortunately, right before the move, as she was coming back from her last boxing practice, Richard got suspicious and made her turn out her backpack. Her boxing gloves (lifted from school) tumbled out, and the family was then forced to have an awkward conversation. Lavender and Richard were both incredibly stubborn, but once Lavender pointed out that such training would help her stay alive fighting Kishin Eggs, and that what she was doing was less dangerous than usual Demon Weapon activities, Richard was forced to give in. He insisted on a proper teacher (namely, him), and they outfitted their new home in Nevada with a gym so that he could give her proper instruction. Although he was harsh at first, Lavender was dedicated, and the two became even closer, with boxing to bond over. (Duke Geld was thrilled that they had this to blow off steam, and was proud of Lavender and Richard both for coming to a compromise – Lavender did get her stubbornness from the boxer, after all.)
After the move to Death City, Lavender began waiting for her weapon form to show. She checked every day - once she finally hit puberty her father's would say "not long now," and she dreamed of the day she would attend a school filled with superheroes who saved people from Kishin Eggs and witches. The ability had skipped several generations, her great-grandmother being the last known Geld Demon Weapon, so her parents worried that maybe it had skipped Lavender as well and they had moved for nothing. However, on her 18th birthday, she finally turned and realized her Demon Weapon abilities. With a little bit of shooting practice, lots of encouragement from her dads, and a new (tailored by her) uniform for Shibusen, Lavender finally began her journey!
Extra Notes:
Lavender owns a white Persian cat named Al Capone, who is extremely fat but incredibly sweet (if a bit standoffish, as cats go). Often the unwilling model for many of Lavender's creations, especially hats.

Removing a pin from the nearby pincushion and carefully sliding it into position, adjusting the fabric with practiced hands, Lavender sat back on her heels and admired her handiwork.
"What do you think, Al?" She asked, tilting her head this way and that, turning the mannequin so that she could see the hem of the dress. She pulled out a pin and replaced it a fraction of a centimeter to the left. Al Capone didn't stir, happily snoozing on Lavender's bed in a bright square sunbeam. He was wearing a baby blue bonnet several sizes too large, made for a human head but placed precariously on the feline's torso as either a joke or a blanket. It looked rather like he was wearing a small skirt.
Lavender stood up, leaning back so that she could hear her spine pop. She had been hunched over for about two hours, cutting and pinning and planning, her room in disarray - scissors and fabric strewn about, ribbons draped over a nearby chair, scraps littering the carpet. Lavender looked around balefully, already dreading the cleanup job ahead of her. Rolling her sleeves up and tugging at her slouching socks, she pointedly ignored the mess and decided she had a sudden craving for lemon cookies.
