At last, classes were finally over! Arlie liked school and all but damn did sitting around listening to the teacher drone on and on get old fast. Getting see and talk to so many different people was always exciting though, and that was mainly what she intended to do today now the school day was over. Still being new to Shibusen, the blonde had yet to really meet with anybody for more than a class period. Of course she still kept up her trend of speaking to anyone who she happened to spot looking at her even slightly. The only real issue she seemed to be having was deciding where to go to meet people. She could’ve stayed behind in class to talk to the stragglers, but Arlie had wanted out of that classroom more than a caged rabbit wanted to run. Currently traipsing through the hallways, there was also the draw of the firing range. Then again Arlie didn’t technically have a gun to practice with so that would be a bit of a bust as much as it pained her. The blonde quickly tried to turn her mind elsewhere. The last thing she needed was to fixate on her trigger finger considering she likely wouldn’t get the chance to shoot a gun for quite some time as unfortunately as that was. Navigating her way through the throngs of students shuffling this way and that on their way home or to extracurricular activities, Arlie found herself outside quicker than she’d thought. Well, this wasn’t going quite how she hoped. Turning around to look back at the entry to the school, the blonde pouted, “Well shucks, I guess that was a bust.”Granted she could just venture back inside but this thought didn’t seem to cross her mind. Pout still present on her face, the blonde fiddled with her ponytail and adjusted her grip on her bookbag slung over her shoulder. She then took a few steps towards the enormous staircase that led back down to the rest of the city. Climbing it was still a bit of an issue for her, but there was no doubt in her mind that she would get used to it. Soon she’d be able to run up and down the steps without even breaking a sweat! She was sure of it! A grin worked its way onto her face and Arlie stretched her arms over her head, enjoying the sun for a moment before turning around. She’d decided to wander back into the school after all. It was worth it if it meant making some new friends to stay and poke around for a bit longer. Her plan was temporarily halted, though, as upon turning she right into someone walking. The blonde stumbled a bit but kept her balance, “Oh golly, I’m so sorry! I didn’t see yah there.”It could've been worse, she could have been on her roller skates, then they really would've had a crash and a half on their hands! She would've been alright, Arlie had taken a dive or two off her skates and been just fine. Hopefully the other person wasn't too peeved at her being a bit scatterbrained and not noticing that there was someone behind her.

Felix has just been sitting in the class even after it had finished just working on homework. He didn't quit feel like going home just yet and so he vouched to just stay behind. The apartment that his parents had paid for reminded him too much of them and it made him a bit nervous. Not like it would clearly show on his face but he was. The fact that they thought he was a living and breathing mini them meant that they thought they knew what he liked; they didn't.
That was why he was so adamant on not having a maid to take care of his home. He wanted to be normal for once even if things still stuck to him like glue when it came to every day life. He was learning how to be normal and that was all that mattered according to his older sister. He at least was being more careful when it came to cooking but that was probably more thanks to her notes than anything. It was still embarrassing that she had left a note up on his cabinet. That hadn't been the only place though and he was finding more and more every day, which was even more embarrassing.
He kept them all though under his mattress just so that they wouldn't be easy to find. These thoughts were ever present as he continued on with his homework. With how quiet he was, it was like the other kids who had stuck around to chat with their friends didn't even notice that he was there. It was very likely that they hadn't but that he didn't really mind; much. He'd make friends eventually when he didn't look like a stuck up snob that hailed from England.
Upon finishing his homework, he packed up his things and slung his messenger bag over his shoulder. His brother had told him that this backpack suited him the best and just went along with it. He didn't even care whether a backpack suited him or not just as long as he could carry his books in it. He was all set to head off home with maybe a side trip to the store to make sure he had something to cook for dinner. The thoughts of dinner and what he might pick up from the store were flowing through his mind too much to notice a blonde girl turning around and about to bump into him.
Even for not paying any mind where he was going and if people were about to bump into him, he didn't really budge much. She seemed to be okay after walking into him and managed to keep her balance. That was good because the stairs weren't too far off behind the girl and it would have been terrible if she would have tumbled down them. She apologized with a thick southern accent and claimed that she hadn't seen him there. That wasn't something he heard all too often especially with how tall he was at only 17 but he was pretty much done growing. It was hard not to see him. Her comment only made a strange look of confusion come onto his face.
"That's okay. I should have been paying more attention to my surroundings." Felix said with a far more obvious English accent then he ever really wanted.

Dang. How she’d missed this guy in the hallways she had no idea. Arlie’d never seen someone so tall before! This kid was a giant. Blinking up the green haired boy, she smiled,
“Well I guess that makes two of us, huh? Dunno how I missed yah! Why yer bigger’n Dallas!”
Arlie meant that in the best way possible, of course. And to be honest she had been facing away from the tall young man to look out over Death City so it was no wonder that she’d missed him, but that of course didn’t cross the blonde’s mind at all. She was more focused on the newcomer. This was a wonderful chance to make a new friend, after all! Even better was that he sounded English. Arlie had never met an English person before; then again Arlie had never really met anyone who didn’t speak with an extensive southern drawl. The blonde had never travelled further than El Paso so her world was very small. Heck, just being in Nevada for school was probably the biggest adventure she’d ever had yet in her seventeen years of life.
Surprisingly enough, what didn’t cross Arlie’s mind was that this guy could potentially be a Meister for her to partner with. Sure that was kinda important and the blonde should probably have thought of that first, but this was Arlie. Her brain was scattered in so many different directions at any given moment that it was a wonder she ever got anything done. Besides, her goal for the day was to make friends. If they wound up partnering, well then she’d be happy as a clam at high tide! However, it wasn’t a thought that was currently in her head. Taking initiative to make sure he didn’t just walk away, Arlie hopped to the right a step as not to tumble back down the stairs and held out her hand to shake,
“Sorry, I’m still new ‘round these parts. My name’s Arlie!”
She was going to find new friends and the blonde would start with this random person who had been unfortunate enough to bump into her. Arlie couldn’t help her forwardness; she was a golden retriever in human form. If the green haired boy tried walking away, she would very likely just follow him. A bit overbearing and excitable, but she was in an unfamiliar place and hadn’t really met anybody yet. At least homesickness hadn’t become an issue yet. Still, hopefully this encounter would pay off!
