Appearance: Selene is a slender girl, having curves in the right places and the right size, her chest isn't too big, nor is it too small, the same could be said about her hips. She has long blondish brown hair that she keeps loose, only tying it back when she's serious or needs to concentrate, she does have short bangs to cover her forehead that she uses a clip to hold back when its 'serious mode'. Her skin is pale, making rather easy for people to see when she is blushing. Her eyes, are a light shade of purple, set on a heart shaped face, usually twinkling in excitement or showing whatever emotion that she is currently feeling. She usually has a small hat resting on her head, something that women usually wear in Russia which is probably why it is one of her favourite.
Her clothing vary, usually, she wears a simple school girls outfit for classes, looking much like a good student, but most of the time, she'll be wearing a tanktop and short-shorts, showing off her legs. Only her right ear is pierced, a silver silver stud resting on her earlobe, but the most noticeable thing on her is her back, her entire back is covered in one giant tattoo, of a white tiger resting on her skin.

Fighting Style: To put it bluntly, Selene has no definite fighting style, most of her fighting is that of street fighting. She uses terrain and momentum to her advantage, talking trash talk, and acting cocky as a way to piss the other off, emotional leverage if you will, after all an angry opponent is more likely to slip up and make a mistake. She doesn't know any fancy moves like a trained Karate master, she just goes for opening's she sees with whatever straight forward method that she can execute at the time, she doesn't know any true defensive moves other then 'roll with the hit' or 'block kick with my kick!'. She fights rather brutally, but also rather straight forward. Strangely enough, she knows Parkour.
Personality: Selene is a pretty blunt and straight forward woman...most of the time anyway. She sees things and solves things in a rather simple manner, even when to others it seems rude or stupid, to her its always the most easiest of routes that are sometimes the best even when others disagree. Since she's so straight forward, its hard sometimes for other students to befriend her, and as a result, she's usually alone. Selene is emotional, she has no trouble showing what she's feeling at the time, and that can end up as both a bad and a good thing. As an example, she's not afraid to show that she happy, smiling brightly or even laughing if she feels like it, but when she's mad, oh boy, she is MAD. There are a lot of things that can get a rise out of Selene, and she is literally the friend that will punch you in the face for doing/saying something that is completely stupid/depressing.
Selene is a adrenaline junkie, as she loves a fight and I mean loves it. She loves the thrill of battle, at her heart pumping so fast, at making those split second decisions that can either save you or break you, she thrives on that, even back when she was a child. Her father jokingly said that it was her Spartan blood showing through (And her father LOOKS Spartan to begin with so its not that hard to believe). Even in her fighting style, there is a certain degree of brutality in it, but even then she knows when its time to be serious and when its time to be playing, but above all else she value power. If someone is able to beat her in a fight, they have her outright respect.
She's not really much of a 'Practice what you preach' kind of person, cause even though she'll call someone stupid for not telling the person they have a crush on to you know, actually telling them this, she won't follow her own advice and tell her crush that she likes him. But if anything, she's sympathetic to those that won't tell, as in, they don't want to lose them as a result, and in the end that is truthfully her greatest fear of all. Losing all those that she considers friends or family.
As expressive as she is though, Selene is really good at keeping things to herself, bottling it up so it doesn't ruin something that she sees shouldn't be tainted, that's why she never really complains about being alone, even though she hates the lonliness and longs for human contact some day's. She doesn’t find herself, or her body attractive and always becomes a stuttering, blushing, mess when she is complimented on it, she's not use to being seen as something pretty enough to be flattered on.

Abilities: Selene, much to her distress, has Soul Perception, a ability that Selene personally finds useless and boring, and as a result has a difficult time with it. This ability does not come easy to Selene as she value's power above all else, so it could be said that her Soul Perception is probably the weakest in Shibusen.

Sloppy Makeouts on the bed
History: Selene is a Greece baby, through and through, named after the Goddess of the Moon herself, Selene's childhood was standard....if you count the fact that her parents are in the Mafia. As far back as Selene could remember she's been wrestling and play fighting from her father to her body guards. At school...well she didn't have the best time, she was more or less shunned by the other children since her family was apart of the Mafia and caused fear, which the parents passed onto their kids. So even at a young age, Selene was alone, getting into fights with other kids who dared bad mouthed her family in her presences.
One escalated a little too far however, ending up with Selene being expelled from the school, at the age of 6 none the less. It was then that her father decided that perhaps...a little start over was required. So off they were!...to Germany, for a fresh start. Selene wasn't too thrilled about it as she thought she had gotten out of school forever (oh silly Selene...), but found that her knew school, despite the language she had to learn, wasn't as bad as she thought it would be. She met a little boy, his name was Axel Fuerst, and he too seem to suffer from his peers, not to the extent she had though, but still it didn't stop her from going straight over to him and asking in her sloppy German if he wanted to be her friend. She didn't hope for much, but she was ecstatic when he said yes.
It was later that she found out that he had a twin brother, though he was in much worse condition, as he was confined to a hospital bed. The next two years, were some of the best of Selene's life, she hung out with the Fuerst siblings every single day, and her father and mother were just happy to see her so happy, though her father was a bit overprotective since it was a boy that was with his daughter.
That's why it was very hard for her to move back to Greece as she didn't want to leave. But her father promised that she would be able to come back every summer, if she kept her grades up and kept the fighting to a minimum over the school year. It wasn't surprisingly that she agreed, but it was a tough deal to keep, but she kept it, she returned the year after that, bright eyes and even brighter smiles at seeing her friends again. However at the age of 10, Axel's twin, passed on just as Selene came to visit him. She was their as he took his last shuttering breath and the heart monitor made a blaring noise. Nurses rushed in and ushered them out, she remembered clutching Axel's hand tightly, praying that it was going to be alright, but in the end, her prayer's were unanswered.
She cried bitterly that day, for herself, but mostly for Axel, as he had lost his twin, something that other people consider their other half. That summer was a rather sobering one, with Selene leaving before the funeral, much to her regret.
It was when she was twelve that she first found out she was a meister. It was completely by accident, as she and Axel were....'play fighting' against some other kids in a park. They had been in an argument later that day so Selene and Axel weren't really talking to one another, but that changed as Axel was knocked down, and Selene, seeing her friend hurt, rushed to his side. Declaring loudly that she wouldn't abandoned him even for a stupid fight, she grabbed his wrist and pulled him up, and that's when it happened, Axel...partially transformed into a weapon of some kind.
While it didn't last long, it was enough to send the other kids running, while Selene stared at Axel with wide eyes, before proclaiming that, that was the most amazing thing she has ever seen. A year later, they were scouted and invited to Shibusen. They have been partners for three years now, and over that time, as Selene's body grew, so did her feelings for Axel, way past friendship. At Valentine's Day, she decided to get him some chocolates, hopefully to convey that she liked liked him. She finally found him....locking lips with another girl. Her heart broke at the sight and the box she had fell to the ground unheeded, uncaring, and Selene hurried away from the scene.
The next day, when Axel came by to walk with her, she put on a smile and asked how he was, despite seeing the one she cared about, perhaps even love, with another it hurt greatly, but she wanted Axel to be happy, and so, hasn't said a thing.
Extra Notes: She has a habit of talking to animals, just to relieve stress.

RP Sample:Selene didn't like it, being in a new place like this, a new country even! She was in unknown territory as it was and it was kind of scary, she barely recognized some words and phrases, how was Papa expecting her to get a good grade if she couldn't understand the language?! Grade one was hard enough in Greek how was she suppose to do it in German?! Pouting as she entered the noisy classroom as the bell hadn't rung yet, looking around the classroom with her wide purple eyes, her gaze landed upon a small boy, his hair silver in color and his eyes a red, but that wasn't what she noticed the most.
It was the fact that he was sitting alone.
Walking over to him she smiled, “Was tun Sie(What you doing?)” She said in her broken German. Red eyes flickered up from the book he had, “Lesun(Reading).” He replied curtly. It took a few moments for her to remember what that word meant, before she tilted her head, “Oh.” She said in reply, before pulling out the seat and sitting down beside him. Red eyes widened and flickered over to her in surprise, but Selene continued to smile, “Ich bin Selene(I am Selene).” She chirped, “Willst du....Freunde sein (Want be Friends)?” She asked, sputtering around the unfamiliar words.
She was confused as he suddenly dropped his book, and looked at her with such wide eyes, she thought they were going to pop out from his sockets! Like in all those cartoons she watched, that would've been funny! But no, he continued to stare at her before he broke out into a wide smile, catching her by surprise.
“Ja!”
Shifting, Selene groaned as she buried her head into her pillow, before sighing deeply as no, she wasn't going to be going back asleep, and pushed herself up, her hair falling over her shoulders as she stared down at her pillow, the dream fresh in her mind, she smiled softly at the memory, that was the start of their friendship, her simple thought of 'He's alone, I'm alone, we be alone together' becoming one of the best decisions of her life.
But now she was alone again.
A frown over took her features as she remembered, yesterday, kissing another woman, was the man she grew to care for. It hurt...she gripped the front of her shirt, right over her heart, it hurt seeing that, but...but he had to be happy with her right? That's why he would let her kiss him right? And no matter how selfish she wanted to be...she had to be supportive about this. It was the least she could do... Turning her head she glanced at the clock, before deciding that yes, she had to get up and changing into her school clothes.
Making herself some quick toast, she had it dangling from her mouth as she left her home, “Selene!” A all too familiar voice shouted, turning, she grabbed the toast from her lips and even though it felt impossible, let a smile curled on her lips, “Axel~!” She called waving to him happily, support....support...
As he got closer, that bright smile on his lips, that thought faded.
She was going to be selfish and pretend she never saw a thing...no proof no hurt...

Does it mean she is good at surviving, that she's determined? Please elaborate~ Easy to predict and easy to anger are more like disadvantages. Please get two more battle weaknesses~ |
