The skies over Las Vegas were lit up brightly by the night life down below. The city never slept. Only during the day did the level of activity lower. But during the night was when everything truly came to life. The peaceful skies were disturbed by the typical passing of passenger jets...or perhaps a commandeered prison plane that was about to crash land on the script. But something else lurked within these skies, something very dangerous. Something nearly hidden within the darkness, with only intermittent glowing dark blue pulses giving hints as to what was up there. A small, dull glow lit up where it would be presumed to be its front and flickered several times. As soon as it appeared, it was gone, off to fulfill some as of yet unknown function.
The sounds of working machinery and tools marked the busy corner on the street as a busy construction site. Throughout the day, workers continuously and tirelessly assembled the building from the ground up, laying the foundations that would lead to the various internal structures that would keep the casino resort stable and structurally sound. As the sun began to set, the lights in the bare steel structure of the building lit up as the workers started their final few hours of the work day.
All of a sudden, the lights flickered and then turned off. It wasn't just in the building, the entire block that would become the casino and resort had lost power. Confused workers looked around and fumbled in the dark as some of them brought out flashlights, awaiting messages from the construction supervisors about the problem. Several workers down below walked over to a few of the generators that were providing power for the floodlights as well as the lights of the casino resort that was being built. From a distance nothing appeared to be wrong save for a faint orange glow. But upon closer inspection, they would find that something had burned and melted its way through the generators. The damage appeared to be minimal, but it did its work. Those generators were now just useless pieces of scrap, as though someone set off tiny thermite reactions on top of them.
The dark creature lowered its altitude, taking advantage of the darkened block as it perched itself on top of a steel beam. Workers at the top of the building still waited for the lights to turn back on, not knowing what fate would befall them. The creature silently hung upside down from the topmost beams. Its glowing eyes appeared as some more flashlights to the workers. By now the pulsing dark blue glow had stopped. It observed the number of workers here. Food was definitely plentiful here. The beast salivated in anticipation, which had dripped onto the shoulder of its first victim. The man wiped off the fluid and looked up.
Right into the black abyss that was the creature's throat.
Its large, powerful jaws clamped themselves around the hapless man as his screams became muffled in the creature's thread. Serrated, saw-like fangs punctured his body, spraying blood everywhere as he was dragged up above and devoured along with his soul. Nobody else knew what happened. The creature navigated its way towards a group of workers who were just about to give up and make their way back down to the bottom of the building. Forgoing being all silent and sneaky, the creature wanted to see its prey in terror and flee. Sure it would mean losing a few morsels, but at least it was having fun.
Its tail snaked its way to the left of the group, and suddenly swung to the right. The unfortunate men were cut up by the jagged edges of its fail as they were knocked out of the building, plummeting several stories down to their deaths. Their souls appeared brightly, ready for the creature to devour. Hearing their screams, others rushed out to see if they were okay. It was then the creature let out a loud screeching roar, deafening and stunning those closer to it. The echoes of its cries caused those down below to cover their ears in pain. When it stopped, its eyes looked down upon them as its jaws opened up slightly, making it look as though it was giving off a sickening grin. With that it dove from the top of the building, folding its wings in as it plummeted. As it drew nearer, it opened them again, slowing its descent as it snatched a supervisor in its sharp talons. It playfully tossed the screaming woman up into the air, diving down and coming back up and catching her in its jaws. It bit down, spraying blood everywhere. The speed at which it intercepted her caused her neck to break and her head to snap off.
Seeing what had just happened, the rest of the workers panicked and began to scatter. The creature came back down to the one group. It pounced on one man, its talons piercing through his back and head as it swiped across at the others. Devouring their bodies and souls, a glow formed within its mouth. Charging up for a few seconds, it swung its head at the building, unleashing a thin particle beam and burning through part of the structure. A small part of the building structure became unstable as the steel beams were cut by the particle beam and collapses, taking down quite a lot of people. While the rest scattered, the winged creature devoured what souls were lying around and began to pick off whoever was still trapped in the building.
It grabbed a few steel rods and took off, flying back into the steel structure of the building. The creature's larger size allowed it to corner and round up the remaining workers. It let out another screeching roar, stunning the workers as it grabbed the first one and pinned him to a half-built wall with the steel rod like a shrike. It did the same for the others, until only one was left. It crawled on all fours towards the man. A low rattle came from its jaws as it lifted its tail, the deadly point of the blade aimed down at the man. The sounds of something hard and sharp striking metal grated on their ears as the creature struck its tail down like a scorpion's, intentionally missing as the man leaped back and whimpered out of sheer fear. It repeated this several more times until he was backed up against a wall. The creature's eyes narrowed again as its tail struck true this time, burying itself into the man's mouth as it exited the back of his head, lopping off the top portion as it the rest of his body was snatched up and devoured.
The still-living workers who had been impaled on the steel rods could only watch in horror at the carnage. The only thing that allowed them to see were the flashlights scattered about. But the horrible lighting only made things worse for them as the creature began slowly removing each worker one by one as painfully as possible from the steel rods that anchored them to the wall, each one devoured after the other until only one more man was left. The creature jumped up and grabbed the topmost steel beams, hanging upside down once again as if it were a bat. It drew its snout extremely close to the remaining man's face. Its jaw hung open once again as a sinister rattle escaped from its jaws. Its head lurched forward slightly as its jaws opened up even more, plucking the man's head from his body as though it were a piece of fruit and crushed. A few strong flaps of its wings, and all of the flashlights were purged from the building, breaking as they hit the ground down below. It then ripped the rest of the man's body from the rods, and devoured it, curling up as it did so, concealed by the darkness.

Ellenor was on a mission, a mission from God! Well no not from God but from Maddrot. It happened a few day ago Maddrot got wind of another Kishin egg lurking about the America and did some digging into it. The moment he found out this was one of the sins, gluttony to be precise, he had sent Ellenor to get and retrieve him. It was always Ellenor's jog to go and get things for him. He couldn't bother with such tasks and it was a way to get the crazy zombie out of his way for a few days. It had both taken them some time to figure out where this Kishin egg was going to be next, he always seemed to be on the move and it was very hard to track him. You think it might be easy seeing as he left death wherever he had been. It finely seemed like he was heading to a city, a big city, Vegas. Ellenor left as soon as she got the new about where he might be. She wasn't going to lose this changes to get and other Kishin and to impress Maddrot.
Ellenor was shocked to find out the moment she got into the city that she didn't need to disguise herself. It was very strange that people just thought she was in a costume or a show girl. She even got stopped a few times on the strip to get her picture taken with people. This city was so odd. It became very hard for Ellenor to travel on foot to find this Kishin. She was getting stopped and pointed at and she even thought at one point a man thought her a lady of the night. How awful to think such of her! She was no whore! She became fed up with all of this and just began to search by shadow. Darting in and out of places and traveling fast over the streets.
Finely she got a little father outside of the big bright city to a construction sight. "Oh dear....At this rate I am never going to find this Kishin....I can't go back to Doctor Maddrot with out him..." The moment she was done talking all the light when out. The sudden rush of darkness through Ellenor from she Shadow. The zombie fell on her face and a swear slipping from her lips. She got up and dusted herself off looking around wondering why the light suddenly went out. It only took her a second for her eye to changed so that she could see in the dark. Then she heard scream from the site and looked over to it. Something was moving in there, something big. Ellenor got a grin on her face as she raced over to the site. Maybe this was what she was looking for.
Ellenor had to cover her mouth when she saw the monster. She might be dead but she could still gasp. Lucky for her the people where screaming so their sound covered her noise. She watched as this beat eat his victims. It was truly a wounder to behold. Ellenor stayed in the shadows until it was all over and watched and the kishin hung from a bean and folded it's wings. Ellenor steady her nerves and walked out from the shadows clapping her hands looking at the beats. "My my my what a wonderful show. I have to say that I have never seen something like that before or something like you." The stitched together woman approached the dragon and looked up at him. "Allow me to introduce myself, I am Ellenor Keeler and I have been sent here for you....my brother sin." Ellenor hoped that if she felt off she would interest the beats and she hopped he wouldn't try and eat her. That would just put a damper on her whole day and be terribly inconvenient.
