Appearance:
Norman is tall and skinny, with a height of 5 feet and 10.5 inches. He’s got a pointed, thin face with high cheekbones, and very light blue eyes. His light blonde hair is cut short. He’s in shape, but it’s because he’s so skinny that he looks more toned than he really is. As it comes to looks, he’s usually on the more attractive side. He’s certainly not ugly, but he looks so severe most of the time that it really detracts from his good features. He has long legs and long fingers, with a very light dusting of freckles over his face and shoulders.

Although Norman doesn’t believe in labels, he certainly has one – and it’s “hipster.” With a huge assortment of skinny jeans and v-neck tees in eye-blinding colors, he spends quite a lot of effort dressing like he doesn’t care. He won't ever look sloppy but often looks slightly disheveled. He has the biggest collection of ugly sweaters this side of the Atlantic, and wears them ironically. He also loves scarves, plaid, and vintage-y clothing. He’s very hygienic (to the point of being a germaphobe) and wears a particularly strange brand of cologne that makes most people think of old houses. He seems to like it, though, so that's what matters. He wears a pair of horn-rimmed spectacles that are, in fact, useless, as he has 20/20 vision. He just likes the look and the irony of it.

Fighting Style:
Put simply, he'd rather not. Norman is a very passive-aggressive personality, so all-out fighting is not his usual style. However, years of roughhousing with his siblings and getting "training" from his father made him comfortable in a fighting situation. He'd rather rely on punching and kicking than actual weapons, and prefers close-range. Getting hit doesn't bother him so much as being unable to hit back.

Personality:
Norman can be incredibly aloof and seemingly apathetic, but the truth is that he’s got a bit of an issue showing his feelings. In an attempt to be in control of himself at all times, he hides his true emotions and thoughts behind a veil of sarcasm and bitterness. He’s a pretty O.K. guy most of the time, but he’s annoyed easily and tends to get ansty. However, he hates getting involved with things that aren’t his business, and thus tends not to be nosy or start fights, or in fact, even participate in them.

His love of obscure things nobody has ever heard of is only second to his love of irony. He delights in knowing the most obscure bands, having read long-forgotten books. Half of his time is spent detesting mainstream anything, and the other half is spent on Pitchfork so he can namedrop the best new music list to people who probably haven't heard of any of it.

Of course, this outer shell of "better-than-you" isn't all that Edwin is made of. He's very loyal, willing to stick up for people he's close to and has a very strong urge to protect them. He may at first appear to do things only because nobody else is/will, but he when things get tough he's practical and cool-headed in stressful situations. He'll be the first person to call for a doctor, the first to make chicken soup if a sibling or friend is sick. He really does care a great deal about others, but his want to be in control at all times sometimes pushes that down and makes it hard to see.

Abilities:
Soul Purge - although he doesn't know it. Even when tacking his older brother to the ground, Norman hasn't been in a situation that would necessitate an ability like Soul Purge. It might be because of how well he faces danger, or maybe it's latent - all that his family knows is that he has an aptitude for something.
