Cendier; Indigo;Français xx
Name: Indigo Noël Cendier
Nickname: Indie, Nitro
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Race: Weapon
Position: Student
Class: One Star
Partner: -/-
A Strong Body
Picture:
Appearance:
The first thing one notices about Indo is the colour of his skin. He is albino; something that is evidenced by his stark white hair and piercing red eyes. Some are intimidated by his appearance, calling him a vampire or other creature of the undead. Generally, Indigo doesn't mind it, and in fact revels in the attention it brings him. Of course, with the advent of Twilight, all vampires are instantly bucket gods, he reasons. On Indigo's back are an array of scars, permanent mementos of his horrid history.
Indigo stands just an inch under 6 feet, sporting a slim but defined frame. He has rather slender hands, which are rather good at tinkering with machinery; something of a hobby of his. His face is generally contorted in a devillish smile, indicative of the mischief his prone to creating. Indigo has an array of earrings on both ears.
His normal outfit is that of a red and black jacket, which goes together with jeans. He rarely wears anything else, causing others to wonder if he has multiple copies of the same attire. In truth, he does, although he'd never tell anyone about it. Indigo does, however, have an array of shirts to wear underneath the jacket, most of them depicting fire or burning things. Indigo also has black gloves, which have metal knuckles. To cap off his attire, the demon weapon has re-enforced black shoes.
Height:
5 feet and 11 inches.
Weight:
9 stone, 11 pounds.
Fighting Style:
When conflict arises Indigo is readily prepared, having had formal combat training in order to avoid a "Batman" situation, that is, a successful mugging. The demon propane cannon is well versed in hand to hand combat, generally preferring the more flexible style of tae kwon do to the secondary martial art he knows: krav maga. Indigo professes to know the Vulcan Death Grip, although he has yet to be in a situation where its use is crucial, and is probably lying.
Personality:
Indigo is a strong willed, stubborn, emotional, spiteful, and impish boy. In short, he is a teenager. Though Indigo might be a bit more violent than most other boys his age, he thinks that if you are strong you must be in the right, or at least are right enough to get away with whatever you are doing. Might makes right is just fine with him, and with that in mind he wants to be the strongest ever! If he was strong enough even when he did bad things no one would ever bug his about it because he would be so amazingly awesome. That is how he thinks, it’s childish and naive... and it’s Indigo. That said though, he doesn't much like people stronger than himself. Getting beaten in a fight upsets him, it upsets him a lot. Anger is one of his biggest emotions, and when Indigo gets really angry he fights. He is quite a zany person, acting very spontaneously in most situations. Often, he just runs off in random directions, wanting to try something, or taste something, or generally get involved in something he shouldn’t. In truth, Indigo really is a free spirit that can’t be tamed, it’s the reason he left home. When he feels like someone or something is trying to bring him down, he acts really depressed until someone makes it up to him in some grand gesture. He likes to be wowed, finding the greatest pleasure in what is, oftentimes, the simplest of things.
Indigo really wants to be respected, but it’s hard for his to feel like he's earned it sometimes. Having friends that help you is important but if they help did you do it yourself? Even worse, what if you had a gift you didn't ask for and didn't want? What if that gift made you stronger than you should be? This is how Indigo views his demon weapon abilities – although they’re useful, he didn’t really earn them; they were his birth right. Even so, he is proud of his power abilities and all; he feels he’s developed from his horrid past…which is something he’d rather not talk about. He is a tough person and he wants people to know it. But he is still a child, he likes to hold grudges and play pranks on people. Indigo doesn't want anyone to touch his friends or family, say mean things about his or anyone else, or talk back when HE is saying bad things about people. Interestingly, Indigo absolutely loves cute and fuzzy animals, he wants to pick them up and hug them until they die, are reincarnated, and then hug their new cute self to death too. It may not fit with the rest of his persona, but what can he say, animals are just soooo damn adorable. He has been known to interpret not so cute animals as incredibly adorable too, such as insects and lizards.
Indigo also loves to tinker and meddle with things, such as machinery. Luckily, his family is wealthy enough to afford such an expensive habit, and the demon weapon has a vast array of scrap metal in and around his expansive apartment in Death City, which he delights in melding together into random and quirky inventions that often fall apart. Still, practice makes perfect, and Indigo's been improving.
The demon propane cannon also has a strange obsession with fire. He is obsessed with controlling it, and proving to people that he really is as strong as he claims. Some of his speech is also fire-based, and Indigo calls things he likes something that relates to heat, such as ‘hot’ or ‘burning’. Likewise, on things he dislikes he terms them with words that refer to a lack of heat, such as ‘cold’, or ‘icy’. It’s just another quirk that makes Indigo, Indigo.
Inside the Soul xx
Weapon form:
Indigo's weapon form is that of the propane accumulation cannon, a weapon that is, while technically not a flamethrower, produces pretty much the same results. Capable of hurling incredibly bright balls of enrapturing flame for a good thirty metres, the propane cannon is a very potent weapon indeed. Instead of the normal propane as the fuel, however, Indigo uses his soul wavelength. When resonating with a meister, the flame can travel further and burns hotter.
Physically, the propane cannon is a fairly hefty weapon to wield. It has a cylindrical black shaft through which the roaring flame is released, two handles for steady aiming, and a direct fuel injection to the main barrel. An interesting thing to note is that, when consuming souls, the souls go into the fuel tank. Being a demon weapon, the propane cannon is very sturdy and bashing Kishin over the head with the barrel is a very viable combat option.
Partial Form:
Like all demon weapons, Indigo is able to invoke a partial transformation into his weapon form: the propane cannon. His partial transformation affects his mouth. His jaw becomes wider and bigger, while the skin on his face turns a shiny black and made of tiles of the same durable material his full weapon form is made from. His tongue transforms into the barrel of the propane cannon, and now protrudes from his mouth a good foot. Indigo's eyes become a deeper, more firey red. In this transformation he is able to spit large flames in whatever direction his head is facing.
Abilities:
O Spit Flames -- Indigo, being essentially a flamethrower, can, well, throw flame. With a range of thirty metres in full form, and fifteen metres in partial transformation, he can defend and distance himself from adversaries.
O Hot Soul -- Indigo was born with a "Hot Soul", fire runs in his veins. It is a volatile wavelength, easily combusting and is prone to causing destruction. No wonder all of its members were flamethrowers, in one way or another. Aside from his affinity to heat based attacks, Indigo is unable to tap into the benefits his unique soul wavelength gives him at the moment.
Out of your Mind xx
Strengths:
O Hot Stuff -- Being a demon propane cannon, Indigo is quite the destructive force when it comes to combat, being especially effective against melee based fighters.
O Burning Determinator! -- Indigo is incredibly determined, and tends not to give up despite the implications doing so could have on his health.
O Fire In His Wake -- Indigo is quite the freerunner, having being forced to learn how to do so or risk returning to his parents. In this way, he is very agile.
Weaknesses:
O Drowning -- Indigo, being one with affinity to fire, is weak to water. Any down the barrel and you've effectively incapacitated him, for he'll start choking and revert to human form in order to puke.
O Weakling -- He's not particularly strong for his age, in fact being weaker than average.
O Close Range -- In close range, although bashing Kishin over the head with a propane cannon can be effective, it is still a cumbersome weapon to manouvre, and any half decent swordsman, or axeman, or whatever, can easily get around it.
Hobbies:
O Tinkerer -- Indigo loves to play around with metal, and, since he is a demon propane cannon, he can form it into nice looking shapes and inventions.
O Driver -- Indigo is a very capable driver, his vehicle of choice being the Kawasaki Ninja ZX14. With this baby, Indigo delights in nothing more than tearing up the streets of Death City
O Cat-erer -- Indigo owns a cute and fluffy kitten, which he has affectionately named Ribbon.
O Speaker -- Indigo is bilingual, being able to converse in both French and English fluently.
Likes:
O Fire O Heat O Being Awesome O Kicking Arse O Speaking French O Animals O Souls
Dislikes:
O Rain O Boredom O Apathy O Cold O Kishin O Homework O Dead Animals
Aspirations:
Indigo wants to become a Deathscythe, proving to his family that he can control his fire. Also, the adventures he will have in becoming a Deathscythe should satisfy his thirst for adventure.
History:
The tale of the boy known as Indigo Noël Cendier begins on the second of October, in a lavish hospital room in Bordeaux adorned with all the top notch midwives and other expensive accessories that the mother in labour had been assured were most necessary. The birth was painless thanks to the technology and drugs and whatnot, and within three hours Yvonne Cendier was holding her baby boy. The father, Emilien Cendier, was proud; it could be seen in his beaming face. With the money the family owned through their electrical supply company -- Cendier Power Limited -- the baby was sure to grow up in a suitable environment. The scene was set for a happy and fulfilling family life. Even the baby, who they had named Indigo for the colour of Yvonne’s hair, could see it in the eyes of the faces that he would later recognise as his parents.
And for a time, that was how they operated. From the age of three Indigo elected to spend most of his time with his parents, entertaining them with his naiveté and curiosity. With the money they had in abundance, they employed a tutor to help feed his curiosity with knowledge, but Indigo rejected each and every one, instead electing to play with the metallic pieces of art the family had around the house. His father, figuring himself to be an astute man, caught on to this and decided to bring his son to the factory he owned, hoping to give him a taste for power production. What they hadn’t counted on was Indigo’s maturity; the second he saw the big furnace fires he transformed into his weapon form, firing off large blasts of flame in random directions. The factory burned down, and the Cendier family lost 20 million euros in income, and it took some very persuasive men to get the council to give them the right to provide power for Bordeaux again. Indigo was banned from the factory, and shunned by his family. His young eyes were met with the disapproving looks of people who wished that he hadn’t been born.
It took Indigo 7 years to get his family to start talking to him like a normal person again and even then that had been in dramatic circumstances. For those seven years the demon propane cannon was rarely in the house, preferring instead to roam the streets of Bordeaux. Of course, his family didn't want him to be kidnapped or worse, so they'd always send after him. But over time it took the security guards longer and longer to catch him. The reason for this is simple: Indigo was a fast learner. He developed parkour skills, so much so that some people took to calling him a 'ninja'. His parents weren't impressed; the heir of the Cendier Power company shouldn't be canoodling around the streets, they thought, Indigo should have been studying buisness. But the boy who had come to be known as Nitro cared little for it. All that stuff was for grown ups: something he, thankfully, wasn't.
The incident that led to his family talking to him again with at least a semblance of normality happened on La Galette des Rois; the cake of kings festival.
The family were one of demon weapon blood, and were quite famous for giving pyrotechnical displays of extravagance in a grand ball. Some rivals had ordered the assassination of his father, with power and money clouding their judgment. In amongst the fireworks were two killers, each promised a vast amount of money for the head of Emilien Cendier. In the annual speech Indigo's father gave, the demon propane cannon was stationed behind him and out of sight; where his family wanted him. Hidden, because they were ashamed of him. The first Cendier in generations to have caused mishaps with their flames...even Emilien, who was a pyrotechnic shotgun demon weapon, was more safe to be around. At any rate, the first killer crept up behind Indigo, hushing him with a firm hand around the mouth. This prompted the heir to the Cendier fortune to invoke a partial transformation, something he had been practising in secret as something to show his disapproving parents. The flames burned clean through the assassin's hand, causing him to cry out. Security were on him in a flash, the first threat to Emilien's health foiled. Indigo ran to his father, screaming and yelling about killers. This prompted the second killer to break cover and run out of the ball, but he was later apprehended by police.
Indigo had saved his father's life. He was lavished in good attention from that day forth, with his parents never stopping to talk about that special incident. The rivals who had sent the assassin's after the Cendiers were arrested and thrown in to jail, and their company liquidised. Thanks to the demon propane cannon, Emil was set to make a lot more money this year. As a reward, aside from becoming the king for the day, his father sent him to the best school in the world: Shibusen, with a good amount of scrap metal for him to tinker with.
Extra Notes:
O Despite the fact he is called Indigo, the demon propane cannon's assosciated colour is red.
O Indigo has had a few girfriends in his time. He was renowned for disliking their sloppy makeouts.

He had to keep going. He couldn't stop, not now. Not ever.
Footsteps pervaded the midnight air of Bordeaux, acting as a hushed backdrop to a beautiful port city. Some were lost in the river, that same river that had acted as a confidant; it contained his sorrows, his tears, his dreams, his soul. And somewhere in those waves was the desire to escape. The albino boy couldn't run forever. His pursuers knew that as well as he did; this was ultimately a pointless exercise. They'd do the same as always; wait for him to take a break, and swarm and pounce. The boy wouldn't use his fire, he never did. Footsteps tapped and tapped and tapped, like a bored secretary waiting for the inevitable. And, it was indeed inevitable; the boy would stop, no matter how much he willed himself to keep going, and be returned to his parents, who were no doubt tired of this charade.
Indigo vaulted the barrier underneath the bridge, not stopping to wonder why such a pointless edifice was there. He landed on his hands, but pushed off the ground with alacrity, doing a flip that carried him a few more precious metres. Coming to the ground on his feet this time, he broke into another sprint, still panting for breath, still ignoring the nagging cold that bit into his bones. He could barely see in the dark of night, but he needn't have been able to. He'd ran this course, this same course, ever since he'd started his "excursions", and yet it took them longer and longer and longer to catch him. Here the concrete verge grew narrow. There were two poles sticking out of the water like speartips, before the pathway came back again. On instinct Indigo jumped the gap, landing on the first grubby pole with a feline self-assurance. The pole groaned its complaint, acting as the strings of this symphony of escape, before the water silenced it. The demon weapon would thank the river for that. Leaping again, hopping off of the second and back onto more stable ground. It was like a dance where the music was life itself, and the choreography was imprinted in him from birth; it ran through his veins just as surely as his blood did. And like the sanguine spirit of life, this escape was vital. Without it, he couldn't live. Without it, he'd forever be a caged animal, begging for release.
He couldn't live like that.
Indigo dived to the shadows, scaling the wall in front of him with ease. At the top, he looked around. He could see one, two, three men coming from the right. He turned. Four from the left. It would seem that he wasn't the only one improving. He leaned forward, the momentum taking him off the wall and into the darkness below. He landed silently, and, staying close to the wall, decided to call it a day and allow himself to be found. Next time, he'd escape for good. It was what he said each and every escapade. Indigo did not truly want to live without his parents and friends; he wanted the rush of doing something taboo, that adrenalin surge. He wanted attention. But the albino demon weapon would never admit that to himself, or to anybody. That would be acknowledging there was something wrong in his life; in his home. And, just like his father had told him, the Cendier company could not live with scandal.
He couldn't live like that.

Alright looks good but just need to change a few things. -Not really a problem but your picture isn't working. You may want to fix that. - Weight: Please put this in pounds - Range: Due to how the weapon works I would reduce the range to 50 feet/15 meters, maybe have it reach that but weaken and fade to an extra distance. The range can be extended with future upgrades as Indigo grows stronger as a weapon. - Partial form: Most ranged weapons lack a partial form or can not shoot while using it as the ammo is made from a combination of the weapon and meister's souls. Because of his weapon form I am alright with him having a fire based partial form but no way can he shoot flames 50 feet in a partial form, that is way too powerful and would render a meister useless. I would rework his partial to something else. I suggest maybe making it so he can literally spit a ball of fire about a foot in front of him in his partial. - Strengths/Weaknesses: Please explain what each means. From what I can tell you have fighting experience, determination, and agility/ physically weak, weak to water, and bad at close range. water and close range are not effective weaknesses and determination is a questionable strength, at least change the weaknesses. History: He would not be able to fire off anything in his weapon form without a meister so please rework this with his partial.
