Eindel; Joanna; Student
Name: Joanna Francis Eindel
Nickname: Jo
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Race: Weapon
Position: Student
Class: One-star
Partner: N/a
A Strong Body
Picture:
Appearance: Jo stands at around the average height for a female her age, but her physique is more that of a woman than a girl. Her dainty feet quickly shift to muscular calves. There’s a noticeable scar just above her left knee which circles around her thigh, though the pair looks to be strong. Wide hips give way to a smaller waist, adorned with a pierced navel, and a small, yet full, bust sits proudly above that. Freckled shoulders lead down to freckled arms, where long fingered, delicate hands rest at their end. Although with skin that pale, I’m sure that many freckles are normal.
Piercing blue eyes bring focus to the freckles on her face, which flow over her small bridged nose onto her flushed cheeks. The voluptuous lips which frame her smile seem to be guarding some very sharp teeth. Her eyebrows are thin, and shaped, only to be hid underneath straight-lined bangs. Her textured hair is a mousy light-brown in color, and the tips are dyed to a pale pink, almost as to look faded out, but she meant to do it that way. She meant to chip her purple nail polish too, and forget to brush her hair this morning, and put her shirt on inside out. She totally meant to put her shirt on inside out.
“I mean the tag can’t itch your neck from the outside, am I right!?”
Whether she puts it on inside out or not, she likes loosely fitted t-shirts. She definitely meant to rip it into a half-shirt, though. She won’t wear a shirt that covers her jeweled belly-button unless she’s forced to by being cold. Jeans and a t-shirt, that’s her thing, but she always wears combat boots, since, like her boots, she’s built for combat. Otherwise, her fashion sense consists of applying smudged black eyeliner above her naturally full lashes, and putting on purple nail polish.
Height: 5' 4"
Weight: 131 lb
Fighting Style: Jo’s fighting style is much like her personality. She’s a powerhouse bruiser. Her fighting focuses on powerful, deafening blows to the opponent. Using her fists, she naturally aims for spots known to cripple the opponent: gut, kidneys, head, and the pressure points within the arms and legs –so she has more time to recoup her bearings and fall back onto the defensive while their struggling to regain their focus. Along with the fact she can throw a mean hit, she can also take some. She’s very muscular, and since she doesn’t run around much while fighting, she can absorb a few hits before becoming battle fatigued. Her cheerleading experience shows a lot in her fighting, using front or back handsprings to evade attacks. She’s not fast, but she’s strong enough to make up for that… usually. In partial weapon form her right arm becomes the bar of her saw, which shifts her upfront and personal, in-your-face fighting style to a different stance. She stands left leg, and left shoulder forward, leaning in and lowering her face as to almost seduce the opponent into engaging with her. She bobs and weaves through incoming blows, using floor slides, roundhouse kicks, and her one-arm, almost dance-like techniques to maneuver her way around the opponent until she can catch them in a bad position and flourish from it.
Personality: Jo is a very proud and confident girl. She has a chin-up outlook on the world, and will never give up on something no matter how hard you tell her to. She’s a little quirky, and talks too loud. She’s always bounding with energy, and ready for action; oh, and she hates losing.
Sometimes she gets lost in her thoughts, but as soon as she hears the words “fight”, “battle”, “Jo”, or “Hey, are you even listening?!” she’s back and ready for action. She takes her weapon training seriously. She’s proud of who she’s become and the trials she faced to get there, but she won’t stop fighting until she becomes a Death Scythe - even then, she won’t stop fighting. Upbeat and tenacious, she always thinks of herself highly. Though she generally displays a positive attitude, when she gets mad she gets furious, and it’s hard for her to calm down.
Jo has a mind cluttered with thoughts, but she's a one-track thinker. She doesn't have a bad memory, but her excitement usually gets the best of her, causing her to momentarily forget one thing and move straight onto the next. If she isn't reminded in some way about what she was pondering before, she could just forget it entirely, depending on the importance. She most likely won't remember your favorite food, or your middle name, or that class was at 9 a.m., but you bet she remembers every exercise she performed during training and the techniques which partner them.
If a situation arises, you bet she’s one of the first ones on the scene. She’ll push you out of the way and take that right hook to the face for you, and then punch them in the gut. She’ll give you the best advice she can if you ask her, and keep her nose out if you don’t. She likes making new friends. She’s honest and loyal; just don’t try to tell her secrets, she never learned the definition of “whisper”. In fact she’s pretty loud when she walks, and when she bumps things over with her elbow by accident. She has quite a temper, and she doesn’t take no for an answer. Along with being clumsy, she’s also a bit hot-headed, and loses concentration if she’s angry. Frustration is the main thing which sends her over the edge. She lacks patience: sitting through long lectures, trying to help you with your homework – yeah, she’s not very good at those things. You can bet that headstrong mentality of hers resonates in battle, if you can’t keep up you’re most likely defeated, unless you are on her team, then you’re most likely getting yelled at.
When she’s not mad, she’s a cool cucumber. She’s calm, collected, and a smooth, smooth-talker with an answer for everything. Just because she bumbles about physically, doesn’t mean anything when it comes to her speech. She’s witty, sarcastic, and nine out of ten times she can actually make the teacher believe a dog ate her homework. Jo thinks of herself as the flame, and the world around her are the moths. People flock to her because of the sweet energy she emanates. Her rage, although seemingly intensified, is basically just a counter-balance since her normal demeanor is so radiant. Whether it new friends or new foes, challenges, battles, boys, or most likely trouble, these “moths” are definitely attracted to that fiery passion she has for life. Just remember, if she can’t talk her way out of it, she’s fight her way through. Nothing stops her from achieving the goals she’s set.
Oh, I definitely didn't tell you this, but she enjoys sloppy makeouts sessions under the staircase: floor three, to be precise… left-wing hallway.
Inside the Soul
Weapon form: A pink chainsaw. The words “with love” are embossed on the bar which is 24”. The riveted chain which rests along the bar has sharp angular cornered chromium plated steel teeth with two cutting edges. The base for the mechanism of the chainsaw is about 10" long and 8" wide, though the handle directly at the end of the base would seem to extend it by 5". A second handle is positioned on the top of the base, at it's direct start from the blade with a safe guard angled between the handle and the saw itself (you know, for accidents). In chainsaw form, Jo is lightweight and compact, weighing only about 15 lbs, but a powerhouse with her mechanical engine constantly functioning at 13,500 rpm.
Partial Form: Jo’s right arm becomes the bar of her chainsaw, with her shoulder socket acting as its axis.
Abilities: Burn out: Jo focuses her energy into her chainsaw, increasing her rpm from 13,500 to a whopping 30,000 for 1 post. She has a slight recoil effect afterward, which lowers her rpm to 9,500 as to cool down her engine for 2 posts. The rpm then gradually returns to her normal speed during her next post. This ability can be used once per thread.

History: Born September 4th, during a heavy rainstorm in Kilkenny, Ireland, Joanna Francis Eindel became the first baby girl in the family. She grew up with two older brothers: Jacob, who was two years her senior, and Ashton who was only a little more than three years older than her. The family was vibrant, and she frequently joined her brothers in all their activities. Being a girl wasn’t anything that would hold her back from having just as much fun as them, which shaped her into the tough little tomboy that she grew up to be. Her father George was a deep sea fisherman, taking long work related voyages leaving her and her brothers alone with their mother, Lana. Lana never tied Jo down because she was a female. Jo was allowed to go outside to yell and scream and play king of the hill with her brothers, not to mention eat as many mud pies as she deemed possible.
As her and her brothers grew older, Lana started educating them on souls. Jo didn’t pay attention too much, seeing as she was only 6, but she remembered that everyone has a soul, and depending on how strong you were as a person, your soul could resonate into powerful embodiments of weapons, and that there was a ladybug crawling on the wall. She never thought too much of it, in fact she almost completely forgot.
When she was 12, Jo and her brothers were playing in the woods. Jacob kept complaining about how she was slowing them down, and kept asking Ashton why they always had to take her with them when they played outside of town. Jo started to get angry. Jacob always made her feel inadequate, and she knew she was just as good as them, if not better.
“Ashton look, she’s tripping over rocks again,” Jacob sighed.
“Then why don’t we all rest here for a moment? The sun is shining nicely through the trees,” Ashton said as he reached out his hand to Jo, aiding her up.
“She always slows us down, and we even have to leave early to make sure we’re home before dark! She’s a nuisance- a pest! She’s a girly cry baby who should be home with all her stuffed dolls,” Jacob began making faces at Jo. He finished with a pair of crossed eyes, an outstretched tongue, and a fart noise.
Jo unable to contain her rage any longer lashed out. “I’m not a cry baby,” she screamed, "and I bet you couldn’t even beat me in a fight if you tried! Just because I can’t run fast doesn’t mean I can’t kick your butt, you snot-ball!”
In her anger, she began to run towards Jacob, and slipped on a mossy rock in the process. While falling backward in the air, Jo completely transformed into a chainsaw. The chainsaw revved up and sputtered around on the ground violently and uncontrollably. Jo, now a chainsaw, was spinning in circles on the ground. The saw blade sped up and she, as the chainsaw, was propelled into the tree. The chainsaw cut into its stump before all of a sudden, Jo was herself again.
The boys stared at her in wonder. Jacob seemed unable to close his mouth. Jo blankly looked up at her brothers, and blinked a couple times before the three of them, in unison, yelled “so cool!” The yelling and the laughter from the group vibrated the tree she cut into. With her still sitting on the ground next to it, it began to fall.
“Watch out!” Ashton yelled to Jo.
Jo looked upwards to the falling tree, and in a panic tried her best to crawl out of its path. Hastily trying to scurry away, the tree came down and a branch thick enough to cut her leg open, landed on her thigh. Scared and bleeding, pinned under the weight of the tree, Jo began to cry. Without notice, Ashton bolted back in the direction of town to go get help for his sister.
“Don’t worry Jo, you’ll be okay,” Jacob reassured her. “Ashton is getting help now. Stay calm, everything is going to be fine.” A muffled laugh emerged from his smirking face, “Ya big cry baby.”
Following her recovery, Jo began schooling and training under her mother, who apparently could turn into a battle axe. She really wished she remembered more of the stories her mother tried telling her when she was little. “Stupid ladybug…” she thought. Training was super fun, but schooling was a pain. Though she tried as hard as she could, since she was already aware of the danger that could occur from being a loose-cannon.
By the age of 15, she nearly perfected her fighting techniques. Jo was growing up fast, looking more like a woman each passed day. She began to be informed and educated about Shibusen, and was eager to go. Her mother confided in her that she always wanted to attend and train at Shibusen, and Jo decided that she would go as soon as her mom let her get her belly-button pierced, because she needed to be cool, “duh, mom.” Three months before her 16th birthday, Joanna Francis Eindel got her belly-button pierced. Two months after, her acceptance letters arrived and she began to pack for her exciting adventure to Death City.
On September 4th, luggage in hand, Joanna Francis Eindel was staring up in awe at the gates of Shibusen training grounds and academy. As she took her first step into the campus, she was already one step closer to becoming a Death Sycthe, thinking, “What a sweet, sweet sixteen this turned out to be.”
Extra Notes: The lack of control she has when it comes to her temper makes her more susceptible to fall into madness caused by rage, but her ambition and strong will-power almost equally counter it.
Behind the strings
Alias: Leafeon
Other characters: N/a
Face Claim: {this}
RP Sample: The sun seemed to shine down through Death City in a different way today. A nice breeze trickled through Jo’s hair as she walked across campus. It was a seemingly perfect day for the entrance exams, or so she thought. She continued into the dormitories, and ascended the staircase silently, which is very unusual for that of Joanna Francis Eindel. You could almost see the steam coming out of her ears as she walked up to the door of her room. She whipped open her door, and slammed it shut behind her with no remorse. Jo then plopped herself face down into her bed, and let out a muffled, yet piercing scream into her pillow. After a few pillow breaths, she was calm enough to roll over. She stared at the fan on her ceiling, the spinning blades, “One-star,” she was talking to herself, “The nerve of them to rank me one-star.”
Jo’s eyes dashed around the room, from the ceiling fan, to a stuffed octopus toy on her bureau, to the empty twin bed next to hers, to the picture of her and her brothers pinned to the corkboard on the far wall. It was a darling picture, her two older brothers, Jacob on one side, Ashton on the other, were holding Jo by her hands in the middle of them. Smiles adorned every face in the photo, especially Jo’s. “Maybe I should write them a letter,” Jo thought to herself. “Yes, write them a letter and request to take the entrance exams under the headmaster. The headmaster can't possibly be so biased as to refuse me a higher rank just because I don't have a partner. Once he sees for himself my talent, I'm sure he'll make an exception. Special exception for an exceptional student, specially!” She laughed. The plan was set. She was still stuck on the fact that she wasn’t the shining star of the exams. Jo couldn’t understand it. She fought with proper technique, and sass. She even practiced her victory pose for hours in the mirror the previous night. It was explained directly in her handbook that any student weapon without a meister could not be ranked higher than one-star, but Jo thought she threw in a good counter argument to that in her grade A quality "pre-exam" speech, which she was interrupted during and refused to let finish. She was even going to include that in with her letter to the headmaster, since she wrote it out before memorizing it during her mirror practices. She knew in her heart that the headmaster must be an intelligent and understanding man, who would certainly listen to her plight and understand her seemingly unnoticed talent. Jo sat up and pulled the top drawer to her nightstand open. While frantically searching for a pen, there was a knock upon the door.
In excitement, Jo completely forgot about the letter. Her eyes looked straight over to the empty bed, and the supposed to be empty dresser on the right side of the room, but she just had too many clothes so she borrowed the space. There was another knock.
“Oh, hold your horses,” Jo excitedly sprang up and made her way to the door. She couldn’t contain her excitement; it resonated through her face as a blushing smile. As she reached down for the handle of her door, she could only hope it was her roommate, and that her roommate liked hugs… and didn’t mind if she continued to borrow some space in her dresser.
“It’s only been two weeks, and I already love it here,” Jo thought as she turned the doorknob, awaiting the face to be seen standing on the other side when she opened the door.

Alright there are a few things that need to be altered before you are ready to go. Firstly please use the correct template. You have the rogue weapon template when you should use the student template. Also change the position to student like it should be. Personality: From her appearance it sounds like she is somewhat absentminded and I would like to see some of that in her personality. Weapon Form: How big is her full weapon form? I’d just like more description of the body of the weapon, the drive mechanism and so forth. Abilities: Both of these are too advanced for a new student and will need to be removed, possibly able to be purchased later. Abilities should be more what the weapon can do like if she has multiple cutting speeds or if not multiple speeds what her base speed can generally cut. Strengths/Weaknesses: These are fine but I would remove clumsy as she seems more absentminded and clumsiness contradicts her good balance. I would also suggest if you can think of another weakness adding flexible to her strengths to go with her cheerleading. RP Sample: Just one note here. If she was in Shibusen she should know how the ranking system works and in turn know that One star is the highest rank she could be without a meister. Extra: –Change the part in her history about the chain snapping off her weapon as that isn’t really a thing that would happen for her. -I recommend the use of a text color to indicate speech and make it stand out more from the rest of the text. Just tweak these things and you should be good to go.
