It had taken Kali a long time to get here, a long time indeed. She had always wanted a child to call her own so much so that her madness could be triggered by a baby’s cry. She had come to terms that it was finally time and that she couldn't wait any longer. Her lover may still be trapped within his tiger body but she couldn’t want any more for him and she didn't even know when he got his body if he could even give her a child. The likelihood on that matter was no he couldn't. It had taken her months to plan and pick the perfect mate for this. She couldn’t just have any man be the biological father to her child no he had to be strong like her. There in lined the problem in order for her to pick a strong mate to pass on the best genetic possible was hard to find and not only that he had to be good looking. If Kali was picking just for his genetic she had the right to be picky about it and only have the best. After a long a pain staking proses of finding male Kishen and weighing the options of all of them she had finally picked the one she likes the best. He was strong and had a very interesting power and not to mention he was good looking as well. This was her mate this would be the male that could father her child. After the chose had been made came the time of finding the Kishen and getting what she wanted from him. She had no idea how hard or easy that might be and the decision had led her half way around the world. The hustle and bustle of the city she didn’t like but she had to deal with it for now. Acting like a normal human was tedious and pain stacking for her but again she had to deal. Her quest, as she so put it in her mind, lead her to a bar in the big city. The bar from the information she had gathered was not really for humans and that was something she could appreciate. Kali entered the bar nonchalantly the loud music filling her ears. She was unaccustomed to it and it bothered her quite a bit but the Kishen she was looking for was here somewhere. Taking the sunglasses off her face she placed them on the top of her head to keep them out of the way. Turning a few head Kali walked in making her way over to the bar her tiger like eyes scanning the room for the one she was looking for. It was hard to pick people out but she hopped that by sitting at the bar for a while she would be able to stop him. Taking a set as a farther end of the bar Kali began her hunt. This hunt would be very different from all her others.

With the onset of night Draven began his routine of the night and went to his job at the bar. Entering through the back he began his usual routine of checking inventory and preparing drinks. After a quick look over things he pulled out some of the stored blood and made himself a drink. The crimson red beverage in his hand he headed out to the front to see his patrons for the night. Not a busy night but there were still a sizeable amount of individuals in the bar. Setting down his own drink he began to bartend those that approached.
Sipping on his drink after preparing a few for customers Draven peered out to see who was in his establishment. Enough of a crowd some sat along the bar conversing about random topics. He overheard a few talking about their average jobs in the city while a few seats down a group talked about their latest kills. The contrast was always amusing to him, the balance between pure souls and corrupted not knowing about the threat looming right next to them. One day he would need to lock the doors and call for a feeding frenzy to see what happened, he might even get a tasty morsel for himself in the process.
Alas that would have to wait for another day when he was willing to suffer that loss of income. Looking over to where the dance floor was people crowded around it and danced to the music that surrounded them. If only they knew that the people right next to them were fiends who had strayed off the path of order and become monsters in the eyes of the general public. A few would probably discover this when the people they went home with turned and consumed their soul without a moment’s hesitation.
Activating his soul perception he scanned the crowds and was met with an assortment of red and blue souls mixed amongst each other. While looking around the doors opened and a new woman walked in and her soul was a common blue. It was a tad strange that her soul wasn’t a deep red considering how she walked into the bar as if she had a specific purpose in mind. Interesting but there was no particular reason to put any extra thought into it unless she gave him reason to. Deactivating his soul perception he continued on with his normal bar tending activities and waited to see what was going to happen.

Kali hadn’t been sitting at the bar long before another man became interested in her. He made his way over to the attractive woman and leaned on the bar next to her. Her eyes darted to him and opened slightly from their narrowed appearance to get a better look at him. She took in a deep breath threw her nose as it scrunched up as she looked at him. He leaned in a little close to say something to her and she played along for a moment rolling her shoulders a bit as she also leaned her head in to listen to what he had to say.
”What’s a fine looking woman like you doing sitting at the bar by herself?”
Kali’s yellow eyes hooded again as a sly grin passed over her face as she looked at the man attempting to seduce her. It was funny to her that he thought she was just your average woman sitting at the bar like so many others here. He had no idea he was talking to a witch but if she needed to find the person she was looking for she couldn’t waist her time with a man like this. Kalis placing one hand on his shoulder as she leaned in close to her ear.
”I’m looking for someone and you clearly aren’t him.”
Her eyes switched from her former seductive look to one of anger as her hand tightened around the man’s shoulder and she pulled him in closer. Her hand was crushing the bone but not braking it as she pulled back to look him in the eyes.
”I will not waste my time with a whelp of a Kishen like you and I will be kind for once and allow you to leave. Be gone with you and try another actual human for pray. You won’t find a meal here.”
Her voice was lower so that the average humans at the bar wouldn’t hear her but she pushed the man away as he stumbled clutching at his shoulder and fled for Kali. This was going to be more difficult than she thought. She looked over at the bartender and called him over to her. If she was going to be here a while might as well get a drink or two.

The new woman headed for the bar which carried no connotations in itself. How many people did he serve on a daily basis that happened to be simple humans who simply wandered into his domain unaware? It didn’t really matter to him what they were in the long run since they all paid the same in the end. Humans just had the extra benefit of providing him and any other kishin that happened to be there a quick snack for the night and a soul at the end. Having gotten his fill of blood the previous night food wasn’t a pressing concern for him but he never turned down the chance for some entertainment.
It seemed someone else had reached the newcomer while he was distracted serving somebody else. With his enhanced senses it was no trouble focusing on the conversation to see how it went, less work for him if whoever decided to speak to her was able to figure out her intentions for coming to the bar before him. As long as neither side caused excessive violence he had no problem with whatever was to happen, most kishin eggs that were intelligent enough to come here had the common sense not to start their meal while there were people around.
Oh so she was looking for a certain person? That certainly made things a bit more interesting but not necessarily a new thing. Luring a human into a crowded place like this and lowering their suspicions was a time consuming but not effective way to get a meal. What she said after however caught Draven’s attention more than anything before. She called him a kishin so clearly she wasn’t just a human lured here to be preyed upon and said actual human instead of another. Now that was not a usual sight but not exactly an unheard of occurrence.
When the man was released Draven heard her call and would have smirked under different circumstances. If her soul appeared blue to him yet she was aware of kishin eggs and knowingly in a place full of them there were two possible scenarios he could see. Either someone form Shibusen had showed up and was hunting a particular kishin or she was something else. Considering she was alone and wasn’t attacking the kishin eggs around slimmed down his choices. If had found a den of kishin eggs like this as a meister he would have killed any he saw and collected any soul possible so Shibusen student was unlikely.
Walking over to the woman in question he showed no outward emotion as he didn’t feel any need to. If his suspicions were correct there was nothing to worry about and she would act like any other usual customer. If that wasn’t the case thing would have already gone out of hand by now and considering they hadn’t he believed everything was just usual business. Standing in front of where she sat he looked at her behind his glasses and calmly replied to her summon.
”What can I get for you?”
