Jones; Terrell; Meister
Name: Terrell Valzacard Jones
Nickname: Terri, Terezi, Tartot, Terrestrial
Age: Eighteen
Gender: Male
Race: Meister
Position: Student
Class: One Star
Partner: Kerrigan
A Strong Body
Picture:
[Main Appearance]
[Meister Attire]
Appearance:
Terrell Valzacard Jones is a young male who just reached "adulthood". The tanned flesh giving way for those to assume that he was either of African American descent or Hispanic, the male is known to often wear clothes that are often gothic or dark when it comes to outward appearance. His hair isn't the stereotypical African American's, however, being more silky to the point that one would assume that it was actually tended to before hand. His limbs are abnormally long, due to his ridiculous height, while his eyes and hair are just the same.
Terrell's eye and hair color is a bit unusual. The hair color being somewhat akin to the famous "Death The Kidd's" own, his hair is known to have fairly faint streaks of silver along with it's raven black color. Beyond that, his eyes are known to be a swirl of the same silver and black color whenever he actually spends time to look into the eyes of another.
Height: Six Feet, Two Inches. (*6'2'')
Weight: One Hundred Fourty Eight Pounds (*148 lbs)
Fighting Style:
Terrell is known to fight in only one particular manner when the situation calls for it. This is with brute force. Whether it's grabbing a chair and smashing the person's skull in or resorting to "dirty" tactics, he's known as a "thug" when it comes to the battlefield, but also as a tactician when in the presence of his Weapon. When in the presence of his weapon, Terrell is known to think more clearly about how to take down his opponent and is seen actually researching them before hand, where as he would normally be hard-headed and go head-first into battle without the girl at his side.
Personality:
The ruffian known as Terrell Valzacard Jones is known to be a delinquent who has problems listening to those of a higher "authority figure". Seeing that he's prone to being extremely aggressive when someone talks in a negative light about him, Terrell is often in detention or being scolded for his behavior. Just like anyone else, though, he's overprotective of his Weapon and is more prone to slapping someone upside the head if he ever heard them talking in a negative light about her.
Where this would normally be the part where he has some kind of horrible past that reveals how much of a softy he is, it's only going to reveal and show how much more of a horrible person the male is. Manipulation and Misanthropy are practiced heavily by the Meister, easily being able to lie or flash a smile if it means gaining the trust of someone that he could find valuable for whatever means he may or may not want to achieve. His dislike for the Human Race may also be why he can very easily treat people like puppets more so than the flesh bags that "deserve" respect. Something that he gives very few people.
Now... To the few that Terrell actually respects, they will be the ones that are treated like true royalty whenever he's around them. Any promise made will be kept, fooling around will always be whole-hearted, never half-assed, and if it means taking someone's life to mend a broken heart?... He would do it for the right person. This is the maskless individual known as Terrell Jones. One that would never change who he is for the sake of "fitting in" with the crowd.
Inside the Soul
[Terrell's Soul]
Abilities:
Soul Perception:
Terrell's use of Soul Perception is "unique" in the way that he uses it. Drawing in a deep breath, the dark skinned meister exhales a breath of smoke that's actually his soul wavelength which then floats up into the air around a few blocks worth of a distance. Different colored smoke will rise up from that cloud when a Kishin Egg, Meister, Weapon, Witch, or any other species is detected. It's not as advanced as to successfully bypass a Witch's means to avoid Soul Perception, but, it's advanced enough to still classify what species one is while in this range.
Resonances:If you have a partner and resonance list and give a brief description of it/them here.
Out of your Mind
Strengths:
- The ability to properly think when under extreme physical or mental stress during combat. This is why Terrell has obtained the title as "Tactician".
- Impromptu plans and fighting style is always switched up. Terrell will never fight one specific way the entire match. This is to throw his opponent off from having him be "read".
- Whether he's placed in a team or in charge of leading one, Terrell has the ability to properly order and carry out decisions with precision. Making sure that the work gets done and his allies are alive in one piece.
Weaknesses:
- As intelligent as he is, being hot-headed can cause him to lose sight of the task at hand and often perform actions that would ruin what he has in store.
- Being easily discouraged and unable to trust others easily, being paired up with anyone else that isn't the individuals he's familiar with can cause him to become more aggressive or stubborn to the point of being uncooperative.
- Witches are the only thing that can easily unnerve Terrell when it comes to confrontations. Being in the presence of one can completely flip his worldview and make him act irrationally. This is the same with Demon Weapons of any kind.
Hobbies:
Though it can't really be considered as a hobby, Terrell likes to keep track of the people that he interacts with and how they act. Almost like a "Bestiary" of the town that he's inhabiting. Beyond that, he's interested in a few other nitbits that are just as bizarre as his desire to study people. This includes adventuring in the sense that he comes across new areas, entities, and even culture that he was once ignorant of. One could call him an explorer, but, he sees it as a means to understand the world around him more clearly.
Likes:
- Wine - He actually dislikes alcohol to a great degree. He claims that the only reason why he drinks Wine is because of it's ability to reduce heart attacks. Not to mention that it makes him feel more refined.
- Music - It's beautiful. It calms the soul and the beast that dwells within man and monster of any kind.
- Exotic Individuals - Anything out of the ordinary can very easily catch Terrell's interest. They're far more appealing than the mundane individuals that go on and on about the boring lifestyle that they maintained.
- Living In The Moment - Why spend your time thinking about everything when you can just experience it?
Dislikes:
- Witches/Witch Weapons - They're terrifying. Freaks of nature. Those that dabble in the mystical and arcane art are no different than the controlling individuals who want everyone to experience the same "pain" that they did.
- The Authority - This is more or less pertaining to Staff, The "Police", and others who exercise their power and believe that they rule over all.
- Timidness - There's no need to be afraid to show who you are. Who cares?
- Failure - He doesn't take it very well. Don't expect him to give you a pat on the back if you fail as well.
Aspirations:
Terrell's only true dream that he wants to fulfill is leaving behind some form of a legacy that will make everyone remember him. Call it silly, but, it's the only true fear that he'll never admit. Being forgotten as another leave to pass over someone's shoulder.
History:
Magic was something that always fascinated the young male since it was first shown to him. Yes. He was the true example of an abomination. Mother was the damned Witch that Meisters hunted, Father was a Meister whom was supposed to slay the wretched creature, both of which mingled to create the monstrosity that was Terrell Valzacard Jones. His childhood was composed of a constant battle with the Madness that existed from his mother while his father attempted to pacify his wife's desire to turn their only child into an entity who practiced the arcane arts. An innocent mind that was once devoid of corruption was slowly being carved into an tool of destruction. Only time would tell how their child would come out. From how easily he was able to keep in information in the hungry craze of wanting to appease his mother, to the arts of harnessing one's soul wavelength in order to track down his enemies, a mental breakdown at the age of eight was the fruits of his parent's labor. The once innocent "Terrell Jones" had been broken and without realizing, Madness had no longer become a state of mind... but a place that he lived in.
The separation of his parents left Terrell in the care of his Father. The male was more than happy to look after his son, but, found it difficult to try and empty his mind of the teachings that his wife left within the poor child. Every day, he was threatened with the possibility of being discovered that he was housing some Sorcerer that he should have slain, fed to his weapon and moved on in his life. No one could ever have the heart or Soul to destroy what they brought into this world, right? That was why hours, months, years had been spent in attempts at driving him into the direction of a Meister. But... The more time that was spent, the more hopeless it all became. The child was too far gone to the Madness Wavelengths to see that purity was the only chance at being accepted by the populace. That, and, having a life where one wouldn't have to constantly run in fear of being slain. Every day was met with failure, seeing his son be able to practice the little arts of carving his own familiar into reality and name the magic that he was creating. All until the one night that would finally tip the scale into his favor and permanently destroy whatever was left of the child that they gave birth to.
The nights had grown agonizing to the point of helplessness. His child's Soul Wavelength practically like that of a Witch's while he continued to mend whatever piece of purity still existed on in that beautiful Soul that he brought into the world. Terrell was almost gone. practically within the clutches of the Witch that had taught him everything he needed to know, always visiting him at his bedside and showing him the wonders of the unknown, beautiful displays of childish wonder woven neatly by lies and deceit. He was so close to losing his son... had it not been for the "final task" that his mother set up for him. To kill his father. It would be with the assistance of a Kishin Egg that she had begun to nuture, some poor soul that she lied to in order to finalize her grip around her young, all of which backfired when he saw the horrible monster come by his bed side and wait for his order. Suddenly, that wonderful magic that he was promised to master was not worth the horror and like that, he ran to his father with the intent to warn him of the monster that lurked outside his window. Before he knew it, the creature broke in and began it's onslaught, tearing apart the home and seeking down the father that it had been instructed to consume.
During the entire time that it went on, Terrell was forced to watch the fight, a twelve year old being sworn into the world of Witch Hunting or Sorcery... what could he do except side with the least scary route? So, he fought with his father, learning that whatever could fall into his hand would end up being the best weapon for him to take care of the problem at hand. The battle finally ended, his father receiving the least amount of injuries as his son did, though the mental capacity that the young boy had was now filled with a phantasmagoria of deceit and longing for answers. From then on, the practice of magic left his heart, Madness easily sated but never fully cleansed, for the boy had been broken beyond belief.
Several years up to the current year, Terrell had finally become the Meister that his father wanted, successfully finding a weapon by the name of Kerrigan who was a little oddball, but, got the job done all together. The little broken Meister had grown up being something of a misfit, always getting into trouble and cooking up any plots of mayhem when he could, already running around with a little gang of his own. His father had obviously grown tired and frustrated with what his son came up to be, but, complaining was the last thing that he wanted to do after the hell that he was already put through. So began the story of this child who still sought for some kind of redemption from the fucked up life he was forced to endure... and one day become something that no one would ever forget.
