Today was like any other day for the tiger witch a very long and warm day. Kali wasn't much for traveling around and after the incident in the witch realm all she wanted to do was just relax and take in the heat. She had spent the better part of the past few days sleeping to re gain the magic that had been stolen from her and while she would have normally taken a cat nap out in the open during those days she had hid herself away in the old temple that she called home. Finely today she felt like her old self again and has spent the better part of the hottest point of the day laying out in front of the mouth of the temple just at the top of the steps. Many pillows surrounded and cushioned the witch as she napped. She even laid very much like a cat her hips turned at an odd angle while her back remained flat on the pillows. One arm was stretched up above her head while the other draped over her exposed stomach. She felt no need to he on guard at the moment, even if she was out in the open now, for her large bangle tiger, Shiva, was keeping his eyes open. The large jungle cat was laying just beside his witch. His oversize front paws stretched out in front of him while his back pawn where tucked away under his large body. He looked more like a sphinx than tiger at the moment. His tail twitched back and forth as his golden eyes looked over the jungle. If he saw any moment that was not natural to the environment he was to wake is sleeping master and tell her. Every so often he would let out a deep growl just to let Kali know he was still there and in response she would do the same. Shiva's eyes glanced over the tree tops again his ear flicking as a few bugs tried to crawl into them. He moved his massive body closer to the witch and began flicking his tail over her to keep the bugs off of her. A slight smile passed over her face as she left the warm fur of her tiger brush up along side her exposed sink. Today was a lazy day and the two both figured that nothing would really happen.

India? What made anyone want to live India, especially if one had the ability to live in North America? Don’t jump to conclusions; Trust wasn’t very patriotic he simply liked the United States. They had many different environments for all different people, without the whole living in such an… odd place. Trust had never gone to India, he heard it had its beautiful spots, but as far as Trust was interested, he would stand out way too much. With his luck people might see him as some type of demon or worse, some type of god.
Even with this opinion Trust found himself walking in India, he wasn’t here for the scenery or the city. He was here for one reason only, to investigate. Trust had an interesting and dangerous hobby: Hunting Witches. He loved the thrill of hunting witches, not to kill them and eat their soul like most noble weapons. No, Trust was looking for a certain witch. He didn’t know her, or even a name, or if she even existed. But Trust was looking for one particular witch. A Witch strong enough to be his partner, yet loyal and honorable enough to have the same goals as him: World Peace.
The journey to get to India was bothersome. It began back in the States, where he spent much time ease dropping and pretending to be different people just to get a few witch’s names and locations that might peek his interest. After that there was getting the funds to get a ticket to India and doing so discreetly, which was hard since most people are skeptical about letting people with black and red face and horns onto their planes. Not that Trust blame them of course, he actually commended them for being so cautious and not just letting anyone through.
Even so Trust still made it, and by now if it weren’t for his constant meditating he probably would have snapped and broke someone’s neck by now. But his meditations kept the madness at bay and his mind focused. Plus they weren’t worth earning a corrupt soul over, he might be a violent man seeking to kill those with power, but it was for a good cause! He wanted peace! But as long as there were people who had power to hurt others then there was war and hatred. No, He wasn’t a simple blood thirsty Kishin, he was much more than that. He had a plan, and this plan was his only purpose in life, he would obtain it no matter the cost.
Luckily for now that cost was a $700 plane ticket and a trip with annoying people to visit a Witch that might or might not exist and even if she did exist she might or might not be worth his time. Either way, he had made the trip and there was no going back now. As the male walked his strides were slow and confident. His sunburst eyes seemed the stare from the darkness under his hood masking his face, as if he was absent from all thought at the time. This thought was far from the truth. As Trust walked towards the temple that held the legendary tiger witch he was deep in thought, letting his meditation bring ease to his mind and peace to his heart.
Deal a witch wasn’t always the easiest thing. Sometimes they were absolutely insane. A Shudder ran down Trust’s spine as the thought about the sheep witch he met a while ago who was literally insane. The smell of her rotting flesh still stained his nostrils.
Trust’s meditation came to a halt as his body stopped. In front of him stood the large temple, it was barely visible from his angle hidden in the trees. Either way he knew this was the place, where the witch was. Trust looked up, his eyes scanning through the trees, he made a few paths with his eyes, wondering which would be the best to take. Trust decided to play it safe, mentally, not physically. Trust simply continued to walk, letting his body walk straight towards the temple, His body slithering through the trees but not trying to hide himself. After all if this witch was here, he would need to be on the offensive and working to get her on his side, not make her more suspicious of him by trying to sneak around.
Finally Trust broke into the clearing, he could here a light growl as he looked up, the dark robbed man seemed to be only a shadow of the temple for a moment. But as his eyes opened the bright iris seemed the scream as he looked silently up at the witch and her pet. It seemed she was real after all…. But did she deserve his attention?

The moment the tiger heard moment his ears twitched and he looked up. His golden eyes looked to the tree and fixed on a patch that was moving. He began to growl lowly as a massive pawn landed on Kali’s shoulder. The Witch stirred for a moment and didn’t open her eyes and she pushed the paw off of her. ”Shiva stop it.” She muttered again.
”Kali you need to get up now we have a guest.” Kali’s eyes opened at this as she looked at the blue man sitting next to her with a hand on her shoulder. She slowly sat up and looked over to the tree line with a raised eyebrow. ”Shiva when did our new gust arrive?” She slowly got to her feet the blue man staying close to her as he rose as well looking down at the man approaching the temple. ”Just a few moments ago. Do you want me to take care of him?” Kali held her hand out stopping him from walking. ”No my love you won’t be needing to do that. What ever he tries to do I can handle myself.”
From Trust point of view when he entered the clearing he saw the tiger place it’s paw on the woman’s shoulder, saw her get up muttering something to the tiger and saw the tiger fallow her then stop when she held her hand out to it. Kali slowly faced this new comer now her golden eyes meeting his red ones. She gave the man a strangely sweet smile as she stared to walk down the stairs. Her tiger stayed at the top but looked like he would be read to move if she called him.
The witch moved with all the grace and poise of a woman of class though it was clear she had never really lived around other people. She stopped just a few steps away from the bottom. Curiously she cocked her head to the side looking this other man over. He was quite an odd one indeed. She had never seen someone with a red and black face before and honestly thought it might be makeup. She herself adorned her face with makeup to give a more tiger like look to it. She gave a gracious bow of her head to the man and spoke in a very calm and collect voice.
”Good after noon dear sir and what may I ask do I own the honor of you coming here. I’m sure you aren’t a foolish man and you know full well what I am and if you didn’t you had heard the people in the surrounding villages warn you not to come so far into my jungle. So please enlighten me on why I shouldn’t rip your heart out right now?”
As she spoke her eyes narrowed a bit more taking in more of this anomaly. No one came out this far unless they were looking for her and if he had just stumbled on her by accident she would let him plea his case before making up her mind on whether to kill him or now. She could be a kind goddess of death.

The male’s bright eyes glared up at the woman and her pet. She didn’t seem to recognize him, but her pet did. After a few moments he watched the woman look his way and begin getting up. He was still a ways away from her and couldn’t exactly hear her well, but it was obvious she was talking to someone, another insane witch? Was this all that was left here in this world? Witches who weren’t even in the right state of being, talking to people who weren’t there and living in their own little world? If this was all he had to work with his mission would be a lot harder than he imagined. As Trust watched her carefully, it seemed like she was actually talking to her pet. This wasn’t as crazy, but they way she talked. It seemed she was still holding a conversation… How lonesome she must be to create a person out of an animal.
Trust stood on guard, watching as the woman walked closer to him. Her stride was elegant and well poised. She walked with dignity and a demand for attention, as if she had all the power in the world; with her being a witch he couldn’t exactly rule that out. But he doubted it. Trust took this time to examine the woman. She was definitely from India, the clothing, and the marks on her face. It all made it so obvious. The way she carried herself, she had a reason for all the rumors he had heard about her, maybe she was prideful, arrogant?
Trust’s thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the witch’s voice. It was calm, yet held a kind of sting to it. He listened carefully to her words; at first the words seemed almost polite. But as she spoke on she very quickly showed that she was in no mood for games or even company. Witches… This is one reason the world couldn’t exist with so many. The witches were so prone to violence and hated so strongly that if there were more than one; the world will constantly be filled with fear and fighting. But it’s not just their fault, the shibusen, the Lord Death. All of them are to fault. For judging and for constantly looking for power over everyone else while just for their own gain. This world was a mess, filled with pathetic excuses for living beings. This is why Trust had to rid the world of the hate and power. Through just he would bring peace. As long as someone lived willing to strive to become strong, then there would be hate, envy, pride. those sins… The sins that lead to destruction.
The woman seemed to be confident that she had the upper hand. But in his mind the ball was still in his court. There was a reason he simply came straightforward. Even if this woman was slightly crazy and prone to violence. He had her just where he wanted her.
”I heard about you and your power, this is true. I have come because I seek peace. I heard there was a temple way out here. The villagers told many ‘ghost’ stories about the witch that lived out here. But it seemed like such a peaceful place. I thought I’d come to check it out in hopes to find this peace I am looking for.”
Trust was careful with his words. Making sure to choose each word specifically. Though what he said was partially true, he had to make sure he wasn’t giving too much of himself away without first getting to know her and her intentions first. Trust made was a master at crafting words to get the information he needed out of others. This was his first test, a lone man looking for peace. Now he offered her the ball. His next actions and even her own fate was now in her own hands depending on how she reacted.

The tiger witch listen to his words very carefully with a slight smirk on her face. She took the last few remaining steps off of the temple stairs as a few strides closer to the man. She moved her head slightly again to get a better look at his face, but it was more his eyes that she was interested in. She looked deep into his eyes with her and her smirk on her face grew into a grin. She saw no fear in his eyes but determination. She straightened up again and gave a little chuckle at this.
”My my what intense eyes you have there.”
She looked away from him for and back to her tiger waving her hand slightly at the beast. The tiger quickly walked down the steps and joined his witch standing just behind her but with his head next to the hand that she called him over with. Kali looked back to the man as she began to pet Shiva on his head.
”I have to say that I wasn’t expecting an answer like that. There aren’t many who come into my jungle looking for something like peace but if it’s what you are looking for than you have found it.”
Kali moved her hand to motion around her now.
”I live far away from the prying eyes of the humans and other witches but now I must ask. Why have you come here looking for such things? Peace is something very difficult to obtain so then why would you come to a place knowing there was a witch there? You could be ricking your very life over something like peace.”
Kali lowers her hand now waiting to hear what the man had to say only for her eyes to be pulled away from him. She left a light touch on her hand and she glanced behind her. The blue man was standing there holding her hand glaring at the intruder. ”I don’t trust him Kali. We should kill him right now before he does something.” Kali’s eyes glance back to the other man and then back to Shiva. ”Hush now Shiva I wish to know what he has to say.”
The witch turned her attention back to the other man as her tiger growled and moved to stand next to her now. Kali was fully aware how strange it must be for other to look at her as she spoke to Shiva for she was the only one that could see him. None the less she still looked very calm and gave off no threatening manner. Her body was still relaxed and she had calm but still curious look on her face.

The male’s bright sunburst eyes watched her every movement carefully. She was elegant in stature and walked with a purpose. It was obvious in his mind that she knew what she was doing, this which wasn’t some child, this witch had probably been a while, that or her ego was soaring way higher than it should be. Even so Trust’s lips curved into a smirk. It would be fun to say the least; he took pleasure in dealing with more powerful beings. Those who lacked power were boring, but also safe. Those who had it were fun, yet a danger. Either way he would have to make sure he wasn’t just assuming, if she had power he wanted to see, he had a few ways of going about that. But for now he must learn her intentions in life.
Trust watched carefully as she called her pet to her side. Watching it as it stared at him, either the tiger really didn’t like company, or was ill fed. Either way the glare the tiger was giving him wasn’t very welcoming it seemed that if the tiger could get it’s own way it would be having a nice tasty snack dinner right about now. His attention was adverted back to the witch as she spoke. She was honest, but still a slight smirk crossed his face once again, his pearl white teal peeking out from the dark shadow of the hood. He was happy to hear her said that he found peace.
Of course the smirk didn’t last long. His blank face returned as she continued talking. Ask why he came her to seek peace. She talked about risks and hard to obtain; It was all things he heard before, but nothing he took seriously. Peace was hard to obtain but it was the only thing worth fighting for in his eyes. But still he couldn’t quiet reveal his actual intentions yet. He had to continue to feed her just enough truth to satisfy her, to answer her plea then he would bait her and bring her deeper into his own goal and questions. It was a rather fun game, and one that he had very quickly became a master of.
”You’d be surprised what kind of rumors can spread so easily. The smallest ghost story can become the biggest enemy... Even so, peace is all I desire, If I loose my life while trying to obtain it... Then maybe I’ll receive peace in the next life.. I’m not afraid of rumors or death… I welcome it, but until then. I will continue my search for peace.”
The male shrugged, watching her carefully as her pet moved, then it happened again. Looking at her tiger and talking to it as if she could hear it, Madness… he figured even the strongest witches were susceptible to the aura of the kishin, and it probably still affected them after all this time. Either that or she really liked talking to her tiger… Like a child. Trust simply watched, letting the shadows covering his face hide any kind of presumed thoughts from his features. It would be interesting, it seemed every person he met so far was so different in his or her own way. His little mission was getting to be interesting that he thought. Though he would prefer to hurry up and find a partner so his actual mission can start.

Again Kali listen to his worlds very carefully it wasn’t really that normal for her to be talking to others if they weren’t witches. From the sound and tone of his voice he was also picking his word with great care but still had a firmness to his voice. But one of his remarks did cause the tiger witch to give a light laugh as she carful placed on hand on her him tilting her head just slightly away from him but never taking her eyes off him.
”Receive peace in your next life?”
This very thought just tickled Kali so and it seemed that this man might not have any idea why that would be. She again gave a little laugh, it was not mocking in an way, it was a real entertained laugh.
”Must be nice for someone like you to be able to believe in in a peace after death. Around here that isn’t a thought most people have. When you die you come back simple as that, we get no peace in our afterlife unless we are able to reach nirvana and for a witch that is impossible.”
However when Kali stated this she did something a bit odd that might have gone unnoticed. When she said ‘you come back’ her other hand that was not on her hip instantly moved over the tigers head. It was subtle but she honestly didn’t even realize that she had even done it but now she was on the move again. Moving her arms so they were half folded over her waist as she started to walk around the man getting a better look at him. Her posturing was none threating to say the least. She gave off no aura that she was going to attack him when she reached his back, a normal thing for tigers to do, and gave a smiled when she was facing him again.
”You speak with such truth and determination. You do not care if you die, you want what you want and it seems nothing is going to get in your way, is it? I can respect that and I can understand that. In a very strange way I as well would like nothing more than peace. I would be able to be left alone by others and not have to worry about some people trying to hunt me down and kill me for my soul.”
There was much bitterness in her voice when she hinted at the students of the school but it quickly vanished again. Kali was quick to maintain her composure; it was something she prided in herself that most witches couldn’t do. A thought crossed Kali’s mind and again she gave a little laugh this time at something she had done, not him.
”How rude of me I have been standing here talking to you good sir and I haven’t even introduced myself. I am Kali Bengali the tiger witch of India. I am the ghost stories that you have heard of and it is pleasure to meet someone like you.”
At this the tiger witch gave the man a very low bow. Her eyes moved over to her tiger who had sat down and she gave that cat a low growl. The tiger didn’t argue this time as he stood up placing one paw in front of the other and mimicked his witches move, also bowing to the man. Kali stood back up and her tiger did the same and this time Kali moved her hand gesturing to the beast.
”And this is Shiva my loyal and obedient tiger.”
The jungle cat moved closer to him witch again sitting behind her now peering out from behind her legs. Kali looks at him with a raised eyebrow but ignores his strange antics turning back to the other man.
”And may I know the name of the man that I have been talking too?”
