Not very deep in the park there was a fairly large circular clearing. Benches outlined the clearing with two spaces for where the path entered and left. Its space was a resting spot for those who walked through the park but fairly empty, usually a place where travelers stopped to catch their breath before moving along on their way. Not hard to find by just walking through the park and clearly identified on any available park maps. A spot that did not frequently get a fair share of attention it was still an important area of the park.
Today however there was a change. In the center of the clearing was a large white ball. Upon first glance one would believe it to be the usual sort easily purchased by children at a toy store. However if gazed at further one could see the clear skull symbol that marked it as associated with Shibusen. Even more out of place was the fact that on the benches were people, not many but a small few. One adult female with curly brown hair sat with a handful of children around her. All around the ages of six they ran from bench to bench but never touched the ball in the center.
Upon the school’s request they had come out to help Shibusen’s NOT students. A reward for the children and a break for the teacher. The well behaved children from one of the local schools were able to come to the park to see the performance of the NOT students.

After the fiasco with the bees Tori had made the executive decision to pick the mission from here on out or at lest be with Dante when he would pick them from now on. Tori had picked this mission the day before with high hopes. It was about building team work and lord know she was the one that needed it more then her weapon. She was a stubborn angry and bossy girl, not really one for working well in teams but it was something that the both of them needed to work on and this mission didn't sound like it was full of angry stinging bees. Tori had called her weapon over to her hour earlier that day to get ready for this mission. Unlike the other one she wore something a bit more flashy and show worthy and Tori, well being Tori, also decided that Dante should match her. She had stayed up late into the night with her mother making him a new shirt to wear and she swiped one of her father top hats for him. After the two of them got ready it was off to the park to start the show. In all honestly this wasn't Tori strong point, preforming in front of people. Had she been okay with it she would have fallowed in her mothers foot steps and become a singer but Tori had a strong case of stage fright and she was hoping she could get over it for this mission. She knew Dante would be there with her every step of the way and he wouldn't let her down. She was in all honesty banking on him to make most of the choices for this mission like she had done for the last. It was going to be interesting to see how well she was going to give up control to her weapon. As they got closer to the park Tori turned and looked at her weapon. "Dante I hope you know that I am going to relay on you big time for this mission. I don't so well preforming in front of groups of people. You are going to have to make most of the calls on this mission all right? Don't let me down." With that she gave him a smile showing that she was going to trust him.

If dressing him up was to be considered as some sort of punishment for the whole bee thing, then Dante certainly wasn’t complaining. For one he actually thought the clothes were cool, plus he didn’t exactly get to talk since he’d been the one to choose the mission involving stinging angry insects. Besides, it could’ve been worse. Tori could’ve hit him over the back of the head with a tea kettle or something else British. Dante did appreciate the thought, though, especially since Tori and her mother had worked so hard to make the outfit for him. Besides, now they matched! Dante was far more excited for this mission than he had been for the last. Then again anybody who was excited about working with bees had to be a little wrong in the head in his opinion, but having to perform was entirely different. Dante was Italian; drama and the like were in his blood. It took confidence to climb up window sills and leap over rooftops, and Dante had been doing that relatively well for years now. There were very few scenarios where he was unsure of himself, since if he lost his nerve or miscalculated in any way it usually ended with anything from bad scrapes on his knees to a possible broken limb. Having to perform in front of people was nothing compared to the potential of falling three to five stories if he missed a landing. Tori paused as they got closer to the park, conveying concerns that Dante had honestly not expected. Wait, she had stage fright? Tori, of all people, had stage fright? Dante couldn’t have been more surprised. She was usually so confident and sure of herself, the blonde had a hard time imagining her standing nervously in the background for, well, anything. Dante shook his head a bit at and gave his Meister an encouraging smile, “Don’t worry, Tori, I’ve got this.”Looking out towards the circle, Dante thought for a moment. They’d need to do something that involved both of them and the ball, and it would be better if they could somehow constantly keep it moving. Crossing his arms, the Italian thought for a moment before getting a grin on his face, “Alright, I have an idea!”He looked back to his Meister, “How about this: I’ll be at the center, and you’ll move around the edge. I’ll try and mix a few of the tricks I learned when I was just starting parkour with getting that ball in the air. After each trick, I’ll send it your way. Catch it, maybe spin around a bit for some added flare, and then toss it back at me and then rinse and repeat! That way most of the eyes will be on me and maybe you won’t feel so nervous. What do you think?”

As the team approached it didn’t take long for one of the children to notice them. After that it was a frenzy of motion as they all scrambled to find a bench to sit on. Deciding where to sit for the show took priority for the children as they hopped from bench to bench trying to find their perfect place. Eventually they all managed to find an acceptable location and waited intently for the NOT students to begin the performance. Hushed whispers were passed between benches as they made guesses about what was going to happen. None had seen Shibusen students do something like this before and their curiosity was plainly visible on their faces.
With all of the children settled down the teacher looked them over from her seat. Noticing that all of them were accounted for she turned to the approaching NOT students and gave a smile. As the approached closer to the circle she wave at them and a few overeager children decided to follow her actions. As the noise from them picked up she returned her gaze to the children and they shushed each other until they returned to silence. Returning her attention to the NOT students she greeted them.
”Hello there! Thanks for coming out here for this. I’m Ms. Cobb and the children are very excited to see you two.”
Sitting back on the bench the children around her all waited for the two to start. Some whispered to each other about what their thoughts on what was going to happen were. Small bets were exchanged on how they would do or which one was the weapon of the duo. Overall an air of excitement could be felt from the gathered students.

Tori nodded her head once she hears Dante's plan. It sounded like a good one and maybe if her nerves would let her she could through in some more flair as well. She was very quite as they came closer and closer to where the children where. Dante could see very clearly that Tori was staring to look a little pail as she muttered to herself.
"Hold it together Victoria you can handle showing off to a bunch of children..."
But as soon as Tori laid eyes on the kids running around and jumping from bench to bench her heart stopped. That was a lot of kids. Well it really wasn't but to the nervous meister to seemed like a small army of children. Her hands began to shake uncontrollably as she looked at the approaching doom. She thought maybe this wasn't such a good idea for a mission she would have much rather done the bees again than this, but was she going to sat that out loud? Nope.
She stopped walking once the teacher came up to the both of them and Tori had to try her best to cover the fact that she was scared out of her mind. Her eyes kept darting back to the group of children and she wasn't really listening to what the teacher was saying. Her eyes finely came back to Ms. Cobb and she nodded her head.
"You're welcome I hope we don't disappoint..."
For a brief moment Tori thought her voice was going to crack just from her nerves but it didn't and that made her feel a bit better. She then turned her head and gave a node to Dante.
"All right lets do this."
She took a deep breath and made her was to the outer part of the ring waiting for Dante to begin the show. She sure and shit was not going to try and talk in front of these. The odds of her messing her word up where very high right now and she honestly thought she might be sick.

From what Dante could see, they certainly had an excited audience. If it was just a bunch of kids and a few adults watching them then maybe this wouldn’t be so hard after all! He certainly hoped so. He didn’t want the whole experience to be too awful for his Meister knowing now that she hd stage fight. Tori had stage fright; it was still such a difficult thing to wrap his head around. Dante decided he wouldn’t worry too much about it unless it became a problem. He wasn’t too worried, though. He did have a backup plan if she froze which he as anticipating just to have that sort of foresight for once.
Looking past the teacher that approved them, he smiled and waved to the little kids. He hoped they could put on a good show for them. As far as he knew kids would laugh at just about anything. The few times he’d had to babysit his sisters when they were young had proven this to him beyond a reasonable doubt, at least. Seeing Tori visibly pale having gotten so close to where they were supposed to perform, the blonde gave her a confident smile and gently nudged her in the side,
“Quit worrying so much, you’ll get wrinkles. We can do this!”
The teacher that greeted them certainly seemed nice enough. While Tori seemed to zoning out, Dante smiled at the woman and nodded, appearing as confident as ever,
“It’s no trouble, ma’am. We’ll do our best to put on a good show!”
Or at least Dante hoped they could put on a good show. Glancing over at Tori again, the Italian wondered if with him taking center stage if she’d do alright. As long as most of the attention was on him, maybe she wouldn’t feel so frightened of performing. Besides, these were kids! They couldn’t be that hard to please. As Tori headed to the outer part of the circle, Dante was sure to get all eyes on him as quickly as possible to try and make his Meister feel more comfortable. Did he just walk in? Of course not! Still being far enough to back to get a running start he turned sideways and cartwheeled to the center of the ring, coming to a halt in a kneeling position before standing up and giving the crowd the most charming smile he had. On an average day, Dante was fully capable of speaking perfect English, but he threw in that Italian accent of his for the performance specifically,
“Buon pomeriggio, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls! We will be your entertainers on this fine afternoon, we hope you enjoy the show!”
Stepping back to move towards the ball, Dante threw Tori a gentler smile to reassure her. He had every confidence in her, but he wanted to be sure she wasn’t already completely frozen. Rather than be boring and simply pick up the ball, the blonde instead got within a few feet of it before he was suddenly off his feet and flipping over it. He then bent to pick it up, spun around, and tossed it to Tori. His only hope was that she caught it and maintained enough sense to then throw it back his way.

Ms. Cobb gave the two students a smile and returned to looking around at the students to make sure they were behaving. All of them were sitting in anticipation and waiting for the show to start. Quiet chatter being the only thing heard coming from them. Not sure what to expect the students were waiting to see what the NOT students would do. Being enrolled in Shibusen it was difficult to predict what would happen. All the audience knew was that one of them was a weapon and the other a meister, anything else was up for speculation and betting.
Watching Dante make his entrance was the start of the performance that the kids had been waiting for. A cheer went up from the gathered children and clapping mixed with their voices. Small voices exclaimed their assumptions to their friends about who was who and what was going to happen. Growing quieter to allow Dante to speak the crowd listened to his announcement and began to clap and cheer once he was done. They were excited to see what happened next and wanted to know as soon as possible. With the crowd dying down shortly after it was all on Dante to make the next move and set things off.
Starting with a flip the kids gave excited cheers and some clapping at the feat, some voices standing out more than others and some children just opting to clap. The crowd watched Dante send the ball at his partner and were equally excited to see what she did. From the crowd the sporadic comment could be heard guessing who the weapon was and what form they had. The guesses equally going out to both members of the team with no clear person in the lead. Perhaps Tori’s action would alter their ideas.

Tori stood there a bit awkwardly as her weapon came into the sing. This was more of a Dante type of mission then a Tori one and she knew it. She watched him address the crown and the sudden sound of clapping made her heart skip a beat. Her nerves where staring to get to her and while she stood on the other end of the ring far away from the children her legs began to shake a bit. She didn’t do well knowing that a group of people where going to be watching her.
Her eyes broke away from the crown suddenly when she saw Dante smile at her and do a flip. Hearing what the little kids where saying Tori knew what she had to do. Take a few deep breathing she watched the ball come right at her. Tori quickly moved into a better pose to catch the ball, her legs slightly spread and bent at the knee, rather than her stiff and rigged one she held before. The ball made contacted with her hand and she quickly thought about what Dante told her to do earlier.
When she caught the ball she brought it down quickly and then swung it back up above her head. As she brought it above her Tori went onto one foot and did a spin, her ruffled shirk twirling out around her. When she stopped she was facing her weapon again. All right she was going well so far is she just kept her attention on Dante for this she might be able to get threw it with only minor slip ups.
So the kid wanted to know who was the weapon and who was the meister? Well Tori knew just the thing to do to let them see. She gave Dante a grin now and held the ball in her right hand. She threw it up into the air a bit as she pulled her left hand back gathering her soul purge. When the ball got close she punched it sending it up into the air again making an arch to her weapon.
”Heads up!”
She made sure that when she hit the ball that the children could see her use her soul purge. She put a little more flash into it than she normally did but when again this was all about giving a show right? She just had to keep calm like she was going now and everything would be good.

Tori had responded expertly and Dante couldn’t have been more proud of her. Seeing his Meister take control over the situation rather than freak out and flail around was definitely a confidence boost. Knowing that she had gotten a better handle over her stage fright definitely reassured him that maybe he wouldn’t have to resort to any of the more extreme tricks he had up his sleeve, not that he may not still use them anyway. A little more attention on him couldn’t hurt, but he’d save anything potentially spine shattering for later.
While the ball was in Tori’s section of the ring, Dante didn’t just stand there. He continued on with his list of vaguely easy parkour tricks to keep the kids entertained. Grin still present on his face, the blonde was completely focused. He didn’t have time to think too much about what he was doing, he just had to do it. It made things a bit trickier, but it also made the whole performance more fun. At least if he happened to land on his back he could always propel himself back up onto his feet and play like he’d come away unscathed or at least meant to mess up.
Tapping his foot once against the ground more for reassurance than anything else, he left the ground and flipped backwards to land on his hands. The Italian was only glad he kept his balance as he had more than a few instances of missing that landing completely and landing on his face instead. Luckily he only wobbled a little bit, but he made up for it by doing a few pushups, just to show off and whatnot. Not wanting to stay in his upside down position for too long in case of head rush, Dante tried to gauge how much he needed to push to get himself back on his feet without messing up entirely. Deciding to go back rather than forward, he propelled himself up and back and landed without making a fool of himself.
Back on his feet right as Tori gave him the heads up, he saw the ball heading towards him and grinned. Raising his hands in a mock catch, he didn’t intend to do just that, oh no. The blonde dropped his hands and walked back knowing he was too close, performing a backflip before landing and spinning around to the kick the ball back at his Meister, the object arching through the air towards her direction,
“It’s all you, Tori!”
The Italian let out a bit of a laugh, but he couldn’t help it. He was having more fun than he thought he would.

The crowd was watching intently as the team continued on with their performance. Eyes moving back and forth from meister to weapon in the hopes of catching anything awesome the two might do. Still the children’s curiousity about the status of the team and who was who on it. Many of the students themselves had siblings who attended Shibusen so they knew the basics about how partnering worked. Even so they still found the idea of seeing a real team from Shibusen amazing and couldn’t wait to see what they were going to do next. Every set of eyes focused on the team not wanting to blink and miss something.
Occasional claps or cheers could be heard while Tori did her tricks with the ball. It was only when Tori used her soul purge that a unified cheer rose up from the crowd. Seeing the soul purge added to their excitement and captivated the children. The odd few students still glanced over to Dante during his meister’s actions and were not unamussed. Dividing their attention between the two was difficult but the students tried their best to not miss a thing. Each new move on Dante’s part earned him at least a few individual claps from the crowd.
When the ball headed toward him the attention followed suit. The other students now focus on Dante they errupted into applause and cheering at his parkour moves. Their applause climaxing as he kicked the ball. A bunch of eyes following it as it headed over toward Tori. Ms. Cobb sat and joined the students in their applause, dividing her attention further so she could watch all of the students as well in case their was an issue. Seeing nothing but excitement on their faces she relaxed some and paid more attention to the NOT students as well.

Good lord her weapon was a show off and that was a good thing. Tori had picked the right mission at least for him. She knew that he knew some parkour seeing as that is how she had found him the first time. This was very much about Dante taking control of this rather than her and she knew it. Tori watched the ball arch over to him and gave a little laugh at what he did. Watching the ball Tori moved into position to catch it.
The ball came souring threw the air and tori held her hand up high again to grab at the ball. She caught it with ease but the sudden sound of cheering and clapping threw her off guard. She could see the children looking at her and a sudden panic filled her chest. Tori eyes grew wide as she looked out over the group. It was still not a very large group of people but it was big enough to cause her to tense up.
She had the ball in her hand but she wasn’t doing anything. Panic was getting the better of her and her legs began to shake. It’s just some children, she tried to tell herself. She had forgotten to keep her attention on Dante and now she was paying for it. She held onto the ball not letting it go from her hands knowing that if she dropped it that would be bad for them but her legs on the other hand had a different plan for her.
Her legs gave out on her and she feel to the ground with a thud. Her skirt fluffed out around her as her lower half disappeared under it. Still cleaning to the ball Tori’s eyes finely broke away from the group and looked over to Dante. She was scared and it was clear on her face. Without saying a word to him he could see as plain as day that she was asking for help. If Dante couldn’t think of anything Tori may have just screwed up their mission from her stage fright.

If the cheering from the kids was any indication, Dante had to say that he and Tori were doing a pretty good job thus far. Granted he may have just been a tiny bit full of himself at the moment, but he didn’t really think that was a bad thing. A little ego boost never hurt anyone as far as he knew. If they were lucky than maybe this mission would help Tori get over her stage fright a bit, but in that respect it would seem he’d spoken too soon. Before he could start his next round of tricks while his hands were free, the blonde saw his Meister catch the ball, but something was off this time.
Yup, there it was, she froze. He had to think quickly though. Dante had two potential back up plans and both were highly liked to earn him a slap across the face from her either way, the only real variable being how hard she decided to hit him. Glancing quickly at the crowd, the Italian made a decision to go with his first backup plan. It was showier, a tad risky, and Tori would most definitely either elbow him in the face or kick him in the chest, but something needed to be done and fast or this wasn’t going to end as well as it could. Not really panicking but definitely being concerned enough with their performance to hurry, Dante all but sprinted over to his Meister.
Tori hadn’t dropped the ball, so as far as he knew they were still golden, but if she lost her grip from nerves that could very easily changed. When she fell and hit the ground, he became a bit more worried. Dante had never seen stage fright this bad before. Sure, he’d been kind of shy when he was a kid, but nothing so severe that he froze completely and his legs gave out. But he could worry over her later. Reaching her as fast as he could, Dante whispered to her as he got to her,
“You can hit me as hard as you want for this later, but for now just bear with me and whatever you do don’t let go of the ball!”
And with that, the backup plan was enacted. Stooping down, Dante plucked Tori up off the ground and into his arms, spinning her around once before pausing. Now came the tricky part, but she was lighter than he expected which would make things easier. Praying as hard as he could that Tori wouldn’t kick him in the face, he tossed her up into the air. They had to keep the ball moving somehow, right? Watching his Meister carefully, he caught her in his arm again on her way back down, not letting her come close to falling on the ground. Spinning her around again, he then set her down and whispered to her again,
“Throw the ball, Tori, you can do it!”

The children were excitedly watching the duo as they tossed the ball around. With each trick another bout of cheering arose from the crowd. In particular Dante seemed to be a crowd favorite with his parkour tricks to spice up the performance. General mutterings passed among students about his parkour and if all weapons could do as much. The words never rose above a whisper and were easily lost as a new trick was done and their attention shifted onto that instead. Tori was getting no lack of attention as well and the children wanted to see her do more with her soul purge. Any meister hopefuls were watching for an indication of what they one day could be.
In their unaware state none of them noticed they were stressing Tori until she froze. From her initial pause none of them reacted, most assuming it was just a part of the show. Maybe she was standing still so her weapon could transform or something? That would have been great but their ideas never took root. Tori falling to the ground was realized by some and a few let out a shocked gasp at the new development. Others still believed this was all a part of the show and they would fool everyone in a moment.
Watching on to see what happened next the students watched as Dante headed over and picked Tori up. This got a few cheers and only confused the kids further about what happened. Not sure if she was suffering from something or if this was all a staged part of the show the students decided to just go with it. After Dante’s statement a chain reaction was set off. The crowd of students started a slow chant of ”Throw the ball.” Hoping to encourage Tori to throw the ball and impress all of them.

It was almost like she was in a daze she could see Dante running over to her but Tori’s mind wasn’t registering what was going on anymore. She turned her head slightly when Dante was close to her and up on hearing his words she merely cocked her head. What was he talking about? Hitting him later why would she do that he hadn’t done anything to piss her off.
Then she felt the gun trenching sensation of her body leaving the comfort of the ground. Had she been in her normal state of mind Tori would have been kicking and punch and screaming for him to put her down but she had no time to react to this. In a matter of second she was up in the air clinging to the ball as if her very life depended on it. Tori wasn’t much of a swearer which was lucky for her and the kids. She was just screaming her head off till she felt herself safely back in Dante’s arms. Well that action brought her back and before he set her back down Tori shot him a death glare. Oh yes she would hit him later for this but not now.
Now that her head what back to normal she could hear the children chanting for her to throw the ball. She was standing just slightly in front of Dante when idea come to the front of her mind. With the ball in her left hand she held it out in front. She placed one foot in front of the other and held her right arm out to the side of her giving a pose that looked like one a ring master would take in a cercus. Tori then threw the ball up into the air making sure she sent it high above her. She then reached behind her quickly taking Dante’s left hand in her.
”Quick turn into your weapon I have a really good Idea.”
She muttered to him and waited to feel the metal of the hint in her hand. As soon as Dante took his weapon form Tori brought him back around and held the blade part up to her face before bringing it down quickly to her side. She looked up and brought Dante up again pointing at the ball. She had no intention of trying to pop it or balance it for that matter. No Dante’s rapier form would work nice for her idea.
She arced him slightly away from her allowing the ball the roll down his think blade form when it got the hilt tori flicked her wrist and moved moves so that the ball would roll over her shoulders. When it got to her right shoulder she reach around and caught it under her right arm. But she wasn’t done yet. Tori moved the ball into her right hand and threw it into the air again.
”Payback time Dante.”
Tori grinned as she threw her weapon up after the ball. She knew fully well that Dante would turn back and make some show of catching the ball in midair and landing. As soon as her weapon left her hands Tori took several steps back to make sure he had more than enough room to land and do what every it was he needed to do.

At least the crowd had taken to cheering Tori on rather than reprimanding them for not keeping the ball moving. Well, technically it had still been in motion, though not in the traditional sense since it only moved as Tori had while she was in the air. Still, the screaming seemed a bit much, although Dante had expected that his Meister would protest. On the bright side, she didn’t kick him in the face!
Even better, Tori seemed to have regained her thoughts. For a moment, the Sicilian merely watched her, waiting to see what she would do before he launched back into his tricks. Apparently, though, she had different plans than their previous course of action. He didn’t know what Tori had in mind, but he was willing to trust her. Grinning, he nodded as she took his hand and let that pale blue glow envelop his body. His Weapon form may give the crowd a bit of shock factor, or at least he anticipated as much. After all, the silver glint of a Demon Rapier wasn’t exactly what you’d call standard for a ring show.
Adjusting to the darkness that now surrounded him; the blonde peered out from the blade to see what his Meister was up to. Showing him off to the crowd apparently, but that little flick to the side wasn’t all she had planned it seemed. Dante tilted his head, still perplexed. There was no way she could balance the ball on the point of his Weapon form, that wouldn’t end well he had a feeling. As he continued to watch, though, Tori most definitely came through. Ah, rolling the ball down the flat of the blade, genius! Dante gave a snicker. He had to admit, that was pretty good.
Tori wasn’t done, though, as he would find out. Keeping his eye on the ball mainly just in case something went wrong again, he watched her flick her wrist and send the ball onto her shoulders. If Dante wasn’t in his Weapon form, he’d have clapped, but then he was currently staring a bit dumbstruck. She was amazing, absolutely amazing! And she said she had stage fright. Grinning to himself, she watched her throw the ball up. Payback? What was sh-oh for the love of God! As Dante felt Tori’s wavelength vanish as he flew through the air, he did panic but only for a split second. Throwing him up in the air wasn’t exactly something that would shake him; after all they’d done that in their previous mission as well. It didn’t seem like too bad of payback to him, but then Dante wasn’t about to let her know that.
A flash of blue light and Dante would once again be apparent to the crowd, dashing grin in place once more. His hands reached out and grasped the ball, bringing it in close to his chest. Just to add a bit more technical difficulty to the stunt, he twisted around to his body was turning as he fell back towards the ground. A little flare never hurt anyone after all. The blonde landed on one knee before springing up into a rather theatrical stance, the ball held out before him in one hand as he smiled at the crowd. He then spun in and circle and nonchalantly tossed it back Tori’s way.
