It's been mentioned before that under the current system Kishin Eggs have a hard time, namely the fact that the character can be killed at any moment without the writers permission by any Meister/Weapon team that isn't a lower level than them. I understand that this site is focused on the students and things will always be imbalanced in their favour, but in this case the fights between a Kishin and the students are in my opinion too unbalanced.
I want to make a Kishin, but the idea that I have little to no control over their fate makes me not want to bother. The idea of Madness Revival is supposed to balance the situation but it doesn't make much of a difference, except for the fact that you have gone through several characters by this point, only to invest hundreds or thousands of points in a character which is still in essence a One Star and not safer from being killed.
My suggestion is to try and give Kishin Eggs a little more survivability by giving them a small window of opportunity to escape from a fight with a student. In a fight with a Meister/Weapon of the same level they would have, of the top of my head, five posts to escape or otherwise end the fight after which point they can be killed without permission. Against a Meister/Weapon one level higher they have three posts and more than that they get one post.
The possibility of the Kishin dying is still there but this at least gives the Kishin a chance, a change which is dependent on the writers ability to make use of their characters abilities and respond to the situation. Madness Revival also begins to make more sense and spending more points on abilities gives you more ways to survive.
Granted I haven't but a lot of thought into this but I know I'd feel more confident about making a Kishin under this system.
