Appearance: From a physical standpoint Sable is not much different from other girls her age. She is of average height, has a medium skin tone, has dark, almost emerald green eyes, and while she does not constantly work out she still stays in shape and has a subtle but muscular build. Since she’s never really cared about things like makeup and jewelry, her face and outfits are somewhat plain compared to most other girls.
Her hair is dodger blue in color and relatively short, stopping just a few inches short of the base of her neck. She doesn’t tend to style it very much resulting in a kind of shaggy A-line bob with the bangs coming down to the forehead.
As stated before Sable is not one to pay attention to the latest fashion trends. As such she can be found wearing things like a white tank top underneath a sleeveless dark grey jacket, light grey pants, and black boots. She also wears black fingerless gloves with blue around the wrist, at the strap, and sports two black bandanas, one around the neck and one around the head. Sable will sometimes wear the bandana that’s around her neck on her mouth in an attempt to look more menacing and sometimes before a battle.

Fighting Style: Due to Sable’s past her fighting style can be described as “dirty” and not very honorable. She enjoys getting up close to the enemy and aiming for their weak spots such as the ribs or throat in order to end the fight fast. She may also try to trip the opponent up, feint, jab the eyes, and isn't against breaking a few bones. In short she does not pull her punches and can be quite brutal in a fight.
Unfortunately while Sable hits hard she is not the most strategic person around and is actually quite reckless. Due to her rash and hotheaded nature, as well as her large sense of pride, she will do whatever it takes to win a fight even if it puts her safety, or her meister’s, in harm’s way. This translates into her weapon form as well. While she can’t do much while in this form she will still push her meister to keep going and will not accept any sort of weakness from them.
Personality: Sable is a strong-willed and rather stubborn girl who firmly believes in her ideals. Because of this it can be hard to convince her of something or sway her to a different point of view once she has made up her mind. She is also a very proud girl who is sure of her abilities, sometimes too much. This strong sense of pride can lead her to do some rather stupid things in order to win a battle or competition no matter how small. Being the younger of two sisters she is constantly trying to prove herself and get out of her sister’s shadow, which is why she rarely backs down once she has her mind set on a specific goal.
Despite her cocky nature Sable is actually quite a nice person and cares for others a lot, even if she won’t admit it. She may appear to many as unsociable or someone who keeps to themselves. Sable can also be a little mean, in an attempt to appear tougher than she really is. To those who really get to know her, however, she is a loyal friend who will go out of her way to protect those closest to her.
The thing that separates Sable from most other girls is that she is very much a tomboy who never cared about makeup, jewelry, pretty dresses, and other such things. As a child she liked hanging out with the neighborhood boys and preferred sports over playing dress-up or having tea parties calling those types of things “boring” or “lame”. She has always thought that girls can and should be as tough as their male counterparts and hates being thought less of due to her gender.
Sable is also a bit of a free spirit who doesn’t really care about what others think, instead preferring to do her own thing. While she isn’t one to necessarily disobey orders, she doesn’t really like being told what to do and will often have her own ways of getting things done.
Inside the Soul
Weapon form: Sable has the ability to transform into a naginata. This weapon has a blade that is 2 feet in length and a shaft that is a little under 7 feet, being around 6.6 feet long. The weapon’s tsuba is an oval in shape and is 3 inches in diameter. The end cap or “ishizuki” at the butt of the shaft is 1 inch long. The overall weight of the weapon is 1.5 pounds
Aesthetically the naginata has a black shaft with a blue tassel at the top, just below the blade, that matches Sable’s hair color. The blade itself is your average silver color but has a blue highlight going down the edge.
Partial Form: Sable’s partial form involves her right forearm transforming into the blade of the naginata with the same blue and silver coloring. Since the transformation begins at the elbow and goes up a little past her hand the blade is 1’ 3”

Hobbies: When Sable is not training or working out she will usually be listening to music or possibly practicing her drumming skills since her favorite genre of music is rock. If she is in a more active mood then she may challenge some friends to a game of basketball or just shoot some hoops by herself. She is, of course, open to playing almost any sport.

Aspirations: While it is not a main goal, Sable would very much like to use her drumming skills on a professional level, most likely after she has graduated from Shibusen. Her more immediate goal would be to simply become stronger, possibly becoming a death scythe one day.
History: Sable was born in New York City, Queens to be exact, where she spent most of her life before enrolling in Shibusen. While her mother was a New York native her father was from Tokyo, Japan. Being the youngest of two sisters Sable always felt that she was babied and overshadowed by her older and more mature sister, Cilla. Though their parents loved both of them very much there was still a bit of a rivalry between the two girls during their younger years that still lingers today.
This rivalry was only strengthened when the two realized they had the ability to transform into weapons like their father before them. Being the older sister, Cilla developed her powers first at the age of 11 when Sable was only 9 years old. It was then when their father told them that he and his brother were once a meister and weapon duo and when Sable truly started to feel jealous of her big sister. When Sable finally discovered her powers at the age of 10, Cilla had already been training for about a year prior and was coming along nicely. Their parents were, of course, overjoyed when Sable discovered her abilities but since their mother was a normal woman and their father did not have time to properly train Sable, Cilla, and keep up with all of his other responsibilities, Sable did not receive the same training that Cilla did. As you can imagine this hurt Sable quite a lot and drove her further down a path of jealousy.
The one thing Sable had over her sister was her drumming skills. Whenever she felt angry, sad, or just bored, Sable would go straight to her drum set and start playing. Sable picked up drumming around the age of 8, needing some sort of hobby to take her mind off things. When Sable started bashing on those drums her family knew not to bother her until she was finished as it was her only real way to escape from life’s problems. She enjoyed playing the drums so much that she dreamt of making it big as a drummer and even tried to start a band when she was 14, but it never took off.
Jump ahead three years after Sable discovered her abilities. Cilla is now 15 and has proven to be very adept at both solo fighting and fighting as a pair with their cousin Lloyd who started coming into his meister abilities around the same time as Cilla. Sable, who is currently 13, has resorted to training herself basing her techniques on what she saw on TV as well as on the streets of New York. One day while practicing her skills outside Sable noticed some rather shady looking individuals wandering around the neighborhood. Being the bold and somewhat stupid girl that she is Sable went up to investigate. After a few minutes of listening Sable realized that these people were part of a local gang that had been stirring up trouble lately. When she attempted to run away and warn others of a possible crime about to take place, she tripped and stumbled to the ground alerting the gang members of her presence. In an act of self defense she immediately activated her partial form. Instead of attacking Sable the goons started talking to her, seeing that she is indeed a weapon, and even offered her a chance to “hang out” with them. Sable agreed and the hooligans took her to their base where she met their leader who is also a weapon. He offered her a spot in this gang where he would personally train Sable should she prove she has what it takes. Feeling abandoned by her family and seeing this as a chance to get stronger, she happily accepted and soon began her training under the gang leader. While he was harsh, Sable formed a fairly strong bond with the gang leader since she was the only member that could become a demon weapon like him. She became his star pupil of sorts and received special training that none of the other gang members received. Much like how her father personally trained Cilla only the leader’s fighting style was much more ruthless and actually fit Sable quite well. Each strike was fueled by Sable’s anger and passion. Instead of ignoring her fear and jealousy she embraced it and developed a very powerful fighting style that rivaled her sister’s.
A few months after that Sable started to act strange. She came home late, seemed much more distant towards her parents and Cilla, and was very secretive refusing to tell anyone about what she’d been doing as of late. Feeling worried about her little sister Cilla decided to follow Sable out one weekend. It was then she found out Sable was apart of a gang and had been for several months. Being the responsible person that she is, Cilla informed their parents of what was going on and Sable was soon banned from going out aside from school. This did little to stop Sable as she still managed to sneak out every once in a while to join up with her new friends. This continued for another two months before Sable made a very big mistake. One day after Sable and some gang buddies finished robbing a store Sable got a little greedy. As they were splitting up the money Sable decided to take much more than she was suppose to, in fact she took the entire bag, cutting one of the gang members with her partial form to distract the others and running away with the bag full of cash. The other members, of course, gave chase before backing her into an alleyway. While Sable would normally have had the advantage over the human gang members there was one problem; the gang members were armed with guns, simple handguns but guns nonetheless. Being easily outnumbered and having nowhere to run it looked like Sable was done for. That was until she heard a familiar voice. It was none other than Cilla who had gone looking for her sister along with Lloyd who had been visiting for the weekend.
Seeing as Cilla and her partner were far stronger than a few simple street punks, the two chased the hooligans away and took Sable back home where her parents were furious. Luckily for her they decided not to call the cops but instead send her somewhere that would truly teach her some discipline; Shibusen. However her parents felt that she wasn’t quite old enough to enroll so they waited until her 16th birthday. Until then they became very strict on her, forbidding Sable to go anywhere without Cilla or a responsible adult and even started homeschooling her until she left for the academy.

RP Sample: “Hey guys come on, we can work this out right?” Sable asked with her back against the wall. “It was just a few hundred dollars, we can get double that much within the hour.” the girl was visibly very nervous but did her best to hide the fear in her voice. “Nah, there is none of that “we” stuff anymore.” a man with a thick New York accent said. “We’re tired of the boss treating you like you’re special just because you can turn into a weapon." the man then took out a handgun from the side of his belt with two other men doing the same. “Consider yourself out of the gang.” Sable braced herself for the gunshots. Even though she was a demon weapon there was little she could do backed against the wall of an alley against three guys with guns.
“Hey punks!” a feminine but commanding voice called out. “Leave her alone.” The voice belonged to Sable’s sister, Cilla, who was accompanied by Lloyd, their cousin and Cilla's meister. “This doesn't concern you or the boy. Now get out before you end up like this chick.” he said pointing his thumb at Sable. Cilla and Lloyd exchanged glances before nodding. “I don’t think you people understood her.” Lloyd said as Cilla transformed into a naginata with Lloyd catching her in his hand. “She told you to back off.” All of the gang members exchanged surprised, slightly worried, looks. “So you’re one of those demon weapon guys, eh?”another gang member asked. “Doesn’t really matter you’ll bleed just like everyone else.” At that moment all three gang members started shooting at Lloyd who quickly jumped out of the way and off of the wall, landing on one of the thugs and knocking him down. Lloyd quickly dodged a shot from another thug before he used Cilla to knock the gun from his hand, allowing Lloyd to kick him in the stomach. Upon seeing what happened to the other gang members, the last man simply dropped his gun and ran off followed by the other two goons. “Damn nuisance.” Sable mumbled as she brushed herself off.
Before Sable could say anything else, Cilla transformed back into her human form and promptly slapped Sable across the face. "Ow! What the hell was that for?" she yelled out while rubbing her cheek. "Don't you ever do something that stupid again!" Cilla said angrily. “I could have taken those guys on my own!” Sable said just as mad. “Sure you could, that’s why you were standing against the wall about to get shot.” Cilla responded. "When mom and dad find out what happened you’re going to wish those guys had shot you.” Sable simply rolled her eyes while still rubbing her face. “Yeah, yeah…”
