General Rules

So you want to join our site? Awesome. Welcome, welcome, welcome! While I go get you some cookies, why don’t you sit tight and read:

THE RULES

Be respectful of the other members. You don’t have to be friends with everyone, but at least try to be nice. If you don’t like someone, fine. Keep it off the site. If you’ve got a bone to pick with someone, take it onto MSN or Skype because if I see it you will be beaten publicly.

We encourage you to exercise patience. We Admins are not on 24/7, nor is anybody else. People have lives outside of the site. If we or anybody else takes a few days to get to a thread or profile, don’t be surprised and do not start whining about it. It only makes us want to look it over even less. If it’s been a month, then go ahead and shoot us a PM, but other then that try and sit tight. We’ll get around to it eventually.

Try to remain active. We’re not asking that you post everyday or be online constantly. You all have lives and so do we Admins. Try to post at least once every two weeks to keep things going. If you can’t post fore whatever reason (family emergency, school, you get sick, ect.) then post up and absence to let us know you won’t be on for a while and let us know when you get back. We will miss you!

Be literate. Make an effort to spell words correctly and obey the rules of grammar. We understand if English isn’t your first language or if you have dyslexia or something, but please try to write as clearly as you can. A typo here and there is expected; just don’t be making so many errors that we can’t understand what it is you’ve written.

Don’t spam. Or the flying monkeys will come and get you.

As far as posting goes, absolutely no God-modding. If I catch you doing it expect a ridiculously long lecture that I hate writing and you would hate to read so just don’t do it and save us both the trouble, okay? If you Godmod, you get a lecture first. Second time around will be a three day ban and a third time Godmodding gets you permanently banned plus we’ll publicly beat you, this time with lead pipes.

In threads, try to find a posting order and stick to it. If someone hasn’t posted for a few days be patient. If they’re taking forever than shoot them a PM and ask what’s up before skipping over them.

Try to keep your posts upwards of 250 words. Give whoever you are threading with something to off of as a response. Usually, a single paragraph for a reply won’t get you far in terms of muse. Plus, there is nothing like writing out a wonderful 700 word post and getting 100 words back, let me tell you.

Don't whine. You don't have to like how we do things but it's our plot and it is a Soul Eater universe. Don't complain about how Weapons can only have one Weapon form, or how Meisters can't take down Kishin Eggs on their own. If you complain and whine to us we will, in all likelihood, ban you because you're only going to cause us a hell of a lot of headaches with your bullshit.
