The sound of the cracking filled Kali's ear more then the screaming did. She was killing it and soon the sound would be all but over. When she slammed it down for the last time she grinned even if the screaming was still filling her ear. The grin didn't last very long as she saw the ooze on her hands and cocked her head looking at it. "What the?" In a flash it was all over her Kali hadn't realized before that the thing was draining her and now it was brought to light. She began to try and pull it off, till the burning started. Now it was her turn to let out a scream. It felt like she was in a fire and that all her flesh was being melted away. It didn't help that he magic was being stolen as well.
Kali's body weakened and then to add insult to her now overwhelming injury the damn ooze went and blew up sending the tiger witch fly threw the air. She hit the ground with a very loud thud and rolled a few times. She eyes where barley open as she looked what the ooze was now becoming. Somewhere off in the distance of her mind she thought she heard Zuri call her name but she couldn't be sure on that.
Kali's eyes slowly closed as she let out another grown on pain. She could feels the burns all over her body and it was killing her to just lay there and do nothing. Again she thought she heard Zuri say something but the words didn't reach her ear. She wasn't sure if she would open her eyes again for a while, that is until she heard her own voice.
Her eyes shot open at this, wide in confusion as she looked around for the source of her own voice. It wasn't her that was walking she didn't have the strength for that at the moment. Her eyes finely landed of the ooze like man and even more confusion set in as she watched the lips move and her own voice come out of it. Had it been up to her at this open she would have just closed her eyes and tried to forget all about this, but that thing stole her magic and now her voice.
Very slowly and shaky Kali got to her feet. She couldn't stand up right so her arms just kind of hung in front of her. Her eyes began to drop again but she couldn't let unconsciousness take her, not now. She slowly walked over and only when she got close to Zuri did she falter. She stumbled and grabbed onto the Hyena witch to keep herself from falling. She glanced over at the thing but no real thought came to mind. Her head was still in a daze from everything.

For a moment the figure stood completely still as the witches went about accepting what had happened. Even when Zuri spoke the figure made no move to respond. It simply stood there nearly lifeless and unmoving except for the ever shifting chaos that was the red that made his eyes. A moment later life seemed to return to it and the figure shifted as if getting readjusted to the setting. Finished it looked at the witches and tilted his head, giving them a blank stare at the question that had been asked, almost as if he was confused about it.
”Oh the screaming! I would hardly consider that an attack, more like an annoying greeting card.”
The figure smirked at them and proceeded to walk around with no particular pattern. Looking around he seemed to be admiring the surroundings and taking his time at delaying the question. Seeming interested in different random things and taking overly long amounts of time to inspect what seemed mundane. Running his hand against walls and tapping bricks he explored for a moment while completely ignoring the witches. Eventually he turned back to face the witches and responded to Zuri in particular.
”All in due time m’dear, everything will be explained to you eventually. Now then, I’m rather interested in this whole realm you have here. Very interesting indeed that this exists and does so in such a secure way. ” Taking another moment to look around the figure inspected the city and returned his attention to Zuri. ”Who I am can wait but I will tell you what the point of this was. I was bored and felt like this would be the best way to fix that. Plus I did want to get your attention at some point regardless. This just happened to be a more convenient way.”
”It isn’t very easy to get into your witch realm if you aren’t a witch you see. I had to use my tool that a certain one of you broke to get inside. Once there it had to get the attention of some witches and what better way than by screaming so the whole realm could hear? Plus if any of you attacked it your magic could be borrowed to allow me to establish this connection so we could talk. And if I may add it worked perfectly.”
Grinning at Zuri he tilted his head and rested his chin on his intertwined hands. Red madness danced around inside his mouth and was visible past black teeth. ”Now then, any other questions from you bunch? Aside from who I am, can’t ruin the suspense for you lot~”

Zuri’s worry over her friend didn’t lessen even though she managed to stumble to her feet. As the tiger witch held onto her for support, the witch of laughter managed to stand up herself. Zuri wrapped her arms carefully around Kali’s waist to help keep her steady, trying not to hurt her any more than she already was. As the damned shadow figure began speaking again, her gaze turned upon it as a glare. There were easier ways to get their attention that didn’t involve shrieking and corrosive ooze being thrown about.
As it began to move, Zuri straightened without really meaning to and kept her eyes on it at all times. It wasn’t afraid of them, not in the slightest, but that had been very apparent from the start. Still, it also wasn’t trying to attack them any further as of yet. On the contrary, whoever it was merely seemed interested in the buildings and layout of the city if how the figure looked around was any indication. Zuri narrowed her eyes when the mystery person addressed her again. They were far too comfortable around a group of four witches, despite Annie being so young. She didn’t like it. Zuri raised an eyebrow at the figure’s comments though,
“Of course we would have somewhere safe and secure. We are Witches, we are hunted. We need somewhere only we may call home or haven. You have no right to be here!”
Ugh, the thing was talking again. The more it spoke, the more frustrated she became. Damn this thing, whatever it was and whoever it was! The hyena witch wanted nothing more than to tear its throat out with her bare hands, but of course that would be a foolish thing to do. She knew exactly how that would end, and she’d rather not get her hands covered in that disgusting and rather harmful black goo. And they did all this because they were bored? And furthermore if they wanted their attention, there were easier ways to get it, or at least Zuri imagined this to be so. She scoffed and rolled her eyes,
“Convenient for you, maybe. I can hardly say it’s convenient for us given what you’ve done since arriving!”
Whoever this was either had a death wish or was entirely sick in the head. Possibly both given the more Zuri heard the more she just wanted them to leave. Then again that was her general reaction to anyone who wasn’t a witch, and even more so to anyone who threatened her. Granted that latter usually involved a few spells being cast and a great deal of blood and laughter, but that didn’t exactly seem like the best of ideas at the moment. At the next bought of spoken word coming from this person’s mouth, Zuri regarded the figure as one would a cat with two heads: rather incredulously. Of course it was difficult to get into the Witch’s Realm if one wasn’t a witch, that’s why it was called the Witch’s Realm!
Gritting her teeth in an attempt not to snarl at this point, Zuri grimaced as the rather insane sounding figure before them grinned at her,
“Who you are is, unfortunately, one of only two questions I have for you. The other would be why in the world you would want our attention considering most who draw it wind up dead.”

Slowly, over the course of a few minuets Kali was getting her balance and her mind back. It helped that she had someone to lean on at the moment but her mind was so far gone that most of the word that reached her ears sounded like they where being spoken threw water. Kali slowly let go of Zuri to stand on her own again. It was very hard for the Tiger witch to function with out most of her magic. Unlike most of the other witch her's was based of the physical not the mental. She reached up with her hand to her forehead and shook it back and forth a few times. Finely she could hear what was being said and to be honest she didn't like it in the slightest.
"Barrow our magic? You more of stole it from me and I am not the type of woman who will take that lying down. You wanted our attention well you have got mine. I warm you even if you have stolen the better half of my magic that doesn't mean I still wont kill you. I have other means to go about that."
Kali was pissed but she spoke in the very proper way that she does so well and her voice hinted at no anger. It was all in her words. What also pissed her off was the fact that this thing didn't have a voice that she knew of and it had to steal that from her as well. But the time for threats was over and now it was time to get down to brass tax.
"I agree with my sister here, I too would just love to know who you are and why you are doing this. Why is it that you have tried so hard to get out attention? What is the point of all of this? You are obviously someone or something of. . . Descent power to be able to get something in here and steal a witch's magic. So please do tell what do you have planed for us? Are you a schemer? Please do tell me I am all ears."
She was beginning to hold herself in the way she normally does, even if most of her clothing was ripped and her skin burnt. Kali would not let this thing take her dignity that was something that she held on to with such pride. Even if she did lose her cool with the screaming but that was just something from her past that always seemed to haunt her and something she could never let go.

Something strange had happened, no sweets, no massive sugar crash, no sweet song from her loving KaliMommy to sing her to sleep (which rarely ever worked) and certainly NO passing out from extensive days of being up. It had been weird, but nonetheless, the little blue jay DID awake upon the ground in exhaustion. True, she had been up for a couple days prior, candies and shinies and slaughter, oh my! And yet, her mind was ringing even now. Something around her had caused this explosive pain to drum within her mind and the distant, past echoes of screams coming from everywhere still rang within the silver-haired girl's subconscious memories. Was it all a dream? The pain which she felt certainly was not remnants of a dream. The girl rubbed her pretty blue eyes, trying to wipe away the blackness that clouded them when they were first opened and even then, they were blurred, as if tears had filled them not long ago. The petite hands did feel a little moisture and the more she rubbed her opticals, the more irritated they became, red from the seering pain. This was only too real. Annie did not know what this meant and certainly did not like it, as she shook her head, the pain became more intense and the recollection of the memories that came before more difficult to reach, infuriating the silver-haired girl even more. Who WOULDN'T be mad? Especially if you were a spoiled brat with immense powers and used to getting your way on a consistant basis and killed anyone who didn't.
Suddenly, a voice drifted to her ears, it seemed to be her mommy's voice. Kali, the tiger (ugly kitty) witch who was so pretty, despite her familar! But, that couldn't be the correct tone and the more confused she grew, the more she rubbed her eyes, trying to get them clearer, not thinking of any other way for them to work correctly, the way she wanted. It started to become more frustrating at the moment. Annie looked the way and saw the group of witches from before, at least, she thought that they were the same. One was dark skinned and that meant Mommy, but once more, something seemed amiss as the tigress looked as if she were weak through the blurry lens Annie looked through. The girl wobbled towards the group and called out.
"M-Mommy?" called the little girl, as if lost and afraid, but also in a great deal of confusion from the events.
Slowly, for her, the witch made her way towards the witches and arrived, more congizant than she had been in the past few minutes. The girl eyed the witches, the main two seemed worse for wear and the closer she looked, the cerulean gaze beginning to clear up now that constant pressure was no longer being applied to it, and found burn marks darkening already dark skin. Kali was barely able to stand it seemed and with a soft touch, the little blue jay brushed her fingers against the mark, scrunching up her adorable little face as she did it. It almost seemed as if she were oblvious to what else was happening. No words that had been said in the past had reached her cute little ears, for there was nothing about Annie that was not cute.
"KaliMommy...hurt?" the inquisitive child asked, her voice regaining strength and the girl's eyes suddenly went from frail to enraged as they slanted downward. "Kali...Mommy...Hurt...Kali...Mommy...Hurt...KaliMommyHurtKaliMommyHurt...KALIMOMMYHURT!!!!!"
The girl's yell was louder than a normal girl's yell should be, though not yet enhanced by magic. You yell and talk as much as the blue jay does and you find you able to achieve greater vocal feats than others. The girl's eyes roamed and found its target immediately. What was it? It was too weird. But, it wasn't a witch. IT WASN'T EVEN A GIRL! And Annie knew it was to blame. If magic was directly influenced by emotion, it was going to be a dangerous time for anyone. The girl did her signature hand motions, though in a much more profound way than normal, much less bouncy and more determined and quicker than she ever had.
"BIRDIE BLUE! BIRDIE BLUE! BLUE JAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Shrieked the little blue jay, not caring what happened as the strongest tornado she could summon forth on her own appeared from nowhere, thus ending her magic spell over it as nature took over from there. It could destroy the entire town for all the little girl cared at this point. What once was magic now was a destructive force of nature and it would certainly be the end of the creature for what it has done. While Annie was confident and furious over the stupid creature that hurt her mommy, she stared intently at it and latched onto Kali, for such was the strength of the bond Annie had genuinely formed with the woman. Yet, not once did her eyes leave the creation that was the cyclone.

The figure stood and watched the witches recover from what had happened. He watched them as well as the surroundings intently. The figure still remained very generic in appearance while doing so with just the basic shape of a male. The chaotic red of the eyes continued to squirm inside the body but for the most part the figure seemed much more stable than the previous creature. As Zuri spoke he looked at her with the red wavelength that made up the eyes. Staring at her while she voiced her complaints.
”Oh quite the opposite my dear, I believe I have every right to be here.”
Smirking at her he turned to Kali as she began to become more active. It was good to see she wasn’t too injured after breaking his tool. She seemed rather upset but that was to be expected after experiencing the backlash of the tool’s destruction. Once she began to speak however he simply shook his head at her and sighed. ”Stole is a bit of a harsh word. Your magic will come back after you’ve rested a bit. Let’s also remember why you had your magic taken, you were the one who attacked my messenger. Though don’t get hasty dear, trying to kill me wouldn’t get either of us what we want.”
It seemed his entrance had not gone over very well with the witches. A minor inconvenience for the moment but nothing he couldn’t work with. At least they seemed to be sensible enough not to attack him again. Well most of them anyway. The smallest one attempted to attack him by making some sort of tornado in the middle of the city. Did she not care about the wonderful architecture or the other witches? Probably not but he couldn’t let the city get damaged by some foolish spell.
Walking back to where the creature was the figure seemed not to care about the winds around him. Picking up some of the black sludge he held it in his hand as it started to bubble and convulse. When it was a hardly sustainable mess of chaos he threw it at the tornado. It was picked up by the winds and sucked into the vortex. Turning back to the witches he returned to where he had been as the tornado began to diminish. The black sludge was impossible to see but emerged as the vortex slowed down and weakened. Eventually the tornado slowed down until it stopped and all that remained of it was a black pot that looked like an ancient clay structure.
”Now then, unless there are any more interruptions allow me to explain. I may have come off as hostile but I assure you that is not my intent. In actuality I would like to help you, that is if you wish to do something with your lives other than waste away until some children from Shibusen show up and take your soul. We could work together to achieve much…greater aspirations.”
The figure steepled his fingers as he spoke and looked at each of the gathered witches, tapping his fingers against each other while doing so. After looking at all of them he continued to speak. ”I am essentially seeking your assistance and in return I can aid you in amounting to more than you ever would have dreamed of. That is if you can prove yourselves worthy.”
”As for how I can do all this.” He gestured to the pot but his words seemed to encompass everything including what he had mentioned. ”I go by the name A’zam, and I am a sorcerer.”

As Kali regained her strength, Zuri did let her stand on her own. She did watch her for a moment, just in case she faltered again and needed to be caught. Thankfully the tiger witch seemed to be able to stand alone and so Zuri felt comfortable in leaving her to her own devices. Another sign that her friend was indeed beginning to recover was her anger. Zuri couldn’t blame her. She’d had her magic stolen as well, although not quite as much of it. She was beginning to not feel quite so exhausted, but the fatigue was still there. Hearing Kali’s threats, though, Zuri did glance at her and shake her head,
“Kali…”
Zuri was all for tearing the bastard limb from limb, but this seemed neither the time nor the place for it. They were weakened and the stranger obviously had the upper hand. This thing could steal their magic and trying to attack it physically hadn’t ended well either. Zuri would have liked nothing more than to render the intruder a screaming and bloody mess on the ground, but currently none of them had any way to make that so. For now it was safer to find out whom they were, what they were, and what is was they were after in gaining their attention. The fact that this person believed they did have a right to be in the Witch’s Realm made her uneasy. Who in the hell were they?
Annie drew Zuri’s attention away from the stranger. Her golden eyes landed on the little witch just as she began motioning with her hands and screaming her spell’s chant. The hyena witch’s face fell into a rare expression of concern,
“Annie dear, no!”
Zuri’s worry was unfounded though. While Annie didn’t seem to have her magic stolen, per say, she did watch in mild awe as the stranger used more of the disgusting black sludge to somehow quell the cyclone that the little witch had summoned. How was that even possible? What the bloody hell was that vile stuff even made out of? Zuri didn’t like it, not one bit. In fact she even took a step back. The stranger drew her gaze by speaking again. They were finally starting ot make a bit f sense, but why in the hell would witches need their help? Thy were witches, they had magic! Shibusen did hunt them, but they could handle themselves full well. Whatever this person wanted to achieve, Zuri wasn’t exactly sure she was on board for aiding them, especially after recent events.
Sorcerer. A sorcerer. Zuri’s eyes widened and the witch instinctively brought a hand to cover her mouth to try and hide some of the blatant astonishment on her face. This explained everything. She was still aggravated and suspicious of him, but knowing now what he was…it had been foolish to attack, not that any of them could have known. Knowing that this A’zam was a sorcerer had her even more on edge than she already had been in the first place. Fatigue be damned, Zuri straightened to stand at her full height, trying to mask the astonishment mixed with latent fear on her face with a stern look. Her eyes narrowed at the stranger as she dared to take a few steps forward towards him,
“Tell me, A’zam sir, what is it exactly that you wish to achieve? You seek our assistance, but for what purpose?”
She didn’t know what else to say. What else was there that could be said? Were she younger she may have bowed, but her pride wouldn’t let her. Sorcerer or no, he’d attacked them. But he had also given an explanation, vague though it was. Zuri, at this point, hadn’t a clue what exactly she should do next.

Hopefully there would be no more little outburst from the group of witches. Really now, the messenger was a bit altered from the usual bunch but it was still just a messenger. A’zam hadn’t expected the need to create demon tools on the fly like that. Luckily it didn’t take much to make the pot but any more would expend the finite amount of energy the messenger had. After creating one tool and announcing himself as a sorcerer he hoped that would be enough to dissuade the witches from any future attacks. A civil conversation was all he desired from this meeting.
The one witch did speak up after his declaration with a rather expected question. What did he need witches for? Well it was rather simple really but important none the less. The figure that took the place of A’zam seemed nonchalant enough and regarded the witches in a calm manner. Directing his response to Zuri in particular but addressing all the witches in turn.
”I simply desire your assistance with catching up on what has happened in the witch world over the last few centuries. Of course some assistance with my experiments could be of use. You would be rewarded in kind.”
Stepping away from the group he walked and picked up the newly created pot. Looking it over he carried it back with him and sat it on the ground next to him. Not seemingly worried that it had absorbed the tornado he treated it like an average container. Still with his gave on it the figure tapped its chin a few times in thought. Seeming to muse over the device it has recently created, almost like it was assessing its worth. In the end it gave up and the representation of A’zam returned to looking at the witches.
”What I wish to achieve from this? Oh not much. The further expansion of my research is my short term goal. However I do intend to pose a significant threat to the likes of Shibusen, and with the aid of the witch council perhaps even tilt the sway of power to our favor. Both the sway of madness and the sway of order have had their share of the spotlight; I believe the sway of magic should be taking its turn.”
Finished he waited for the witch’s answer. Their aid would make things easier if they were or sufficient power. However his plan was in motion already, it was up to them if they decided to join his side.

His calmness was quite possibly what unnerved her the most. They weren’t threatening to him in the slightest, not that this hadn’t been obvious beforehand. With what they’d seen him do, Zuri doubted any one of them could take this man on in a fight, and she doubted they could do so as a group either. But her thoughts weren’t on combat. She had no desire to try and pick a fight with a sorcerer. Her pride was wounded from having her magic stolen, but now that she was recuperating there was no reason for her to remain angry. While still a bit peeved, her need for self-preservation was overpowering anything else she could have been feeling.
Well, the history lesson would be easy enough, although Zuri wasn’t sure that she would be the best to help with that. She hardly ever visited the Witch’s Realm, preferring her hyenas and the tall grass to the stone buildings. It was the experiments bit was what made her narrow her eyes, but for the moment she said nothing. Experiments could refer to many things, but based just on what they had seen him do already with ease, she couldn’t imagine what he was speaking of would be entirely pleasant. This was further proven by how nonchalant he was in handling the small vessel he’d made that had just absorbed an entire cyclone. He handled it like it was nothing. Zuri wouldn’t have touched the damned thing with a ten foot pole.
Research? Research of what? No, that wasn’t what she was interested in, so Zuri temporarily ignored it despite the nagging curiosity at the back of her head. Ah, there it was! A threat to Shibusen? Judging by what they’d seen of his power, she guessed he wouldn’t need that much help, but if it was to rile up those little brats than she’d be more than willing. Zuri didn’t even try to stop the grin that slowly spread across her face. She couldn’t have agreed more. Shibusen and the maddened both had already had their time in the sun. It was way past time that magic had its chance to rise up, and it working together with this sorcerer was the way to do it, then so be it.
Trying to restrain the sheer giddiness she felt at the thought of stirring up such trouble, Zuri kept the grin on her face but crossed her arms. Attempting to appear as casual as possible despite how wary she really was still of A’zam’s presence, she gave her answer,
“If these are your goals, A’zam sir, then I will happily assist you.”
With that, she gave a slight bow of her head, but that was all he was going to get. She then turned her gaze over her shoulder to the rest of her brethren. She had already spoken for herself, but she would not speak for them. So she waited.

It was a simple answer but it needed to be asked either way. There were very few witches that he was aware of that wouldn’t take any chance they could to overthrow the institution of Shibusen. Overtaking Shinigami and no longer needing to live under threat of that school, no longer having their souls stolen from them to fuel the cycle of destruction. No, very few witches would oppose his ideas and any that set foot in the witch’s realm would most likely side with him. If these witches were so quick to attack him then they may be of use against Shibusen.
With the beginning of agreement the figure nodded but didn’t show too much emotion. If things went according to plan the time for magic’s dominance was drawing near. Holding out the pot he created the figure dropped it and let it fall to the ground. Instead of shattering on contact the structure was sucked away with a mind chirping sound and vanished from the realm. No longer any trace of it the figure looked toward the witches.
”Wonderful. Hopefully with your assistance things can move along much more smoothly.”
Tapping his foot against the place the figure had appeared and a glowing red circle appeared on the ground. Standing near it the red light illuminated his visage but he seemed to not be concerned with it. Looking to make sure everything was alright the circle began to fill in and chirp like a flock of birds. Looking back up to the witches the figure gave a semblance of a smile and stood on the edge of the circle.
”I ask for one last thing before departing. I have remained concealed from Shibusen’s detection for centuries and can not enter your witch’s realm. To remedy this I ask for you to locate me in person and we can further any discussions. Head to Sharm, Egypt and go toward the water, as fro the specifics…”
Reaching out an arm the figure sunk a hand into its chest and pulled out more of the black sludge. This writhed for a moment s it began to take form. Soon a black orb rested in his hand with the dark sludge swirling around inside it. Tossing it to Zuri his form filled itself in and he sighed. The orb once caught would have the feeling of glass and look as such. The black glass orb contained a swirling substance that would show a white dot every so often.
”Get to Sharm and follow that, everything else will reveal itself in time. I await your arrival.”
With his final words the figure stepped into the circle and was sucked in. Leaving behind nothing but the orb to mark his presence. The next step was up to the witches to make. With the opportunity to alter fate set in front of them.

That chirping sound was starting to unsettle her just as much as the bird creature had. Watching the pot be sucked into the ground like it was nothing didn’t exactly whelp with that fact either. The more Zuri saw the sorcerer do, the more she really would rather keep a distance of at least five hundred miles between them. Then again, if there mischief to be made and power to be had…no, there was no way she could possibly resist that. Her chaotic nature demanding she cause trouble for those she considered enemies, and Shibusen was by far the worst enemy of all. A chance to stick a thorn in their side was a chance would not be passing up.
Zuri did still have her suspicions about this A’zam, though. He seemed far more powerful than any Witch that was currently present. She still didn’t quite understand why he would even ask for their assistance if he was already so far above them, but that train of thought ended as the sorcerer did something else. Watching the red circle take form, Zuri’s eyes widened and she stepped back a bit. He chirping had returned, filling her ears with the annoying sound. Once again trying to downplay just how nervous this entire situation was making her, she tried not to cringe as the figure smiled again.
If the witch of laughter had ben uneasy before, she was ten different kinds of unsettled and nervous now. Meeting A’zam the sorcerer in person. Why did that sound like an incredibly stupid idea to her? Changing the sway of power in the world to magic aside, Zuri’s focus was, as always, on self-preservation. She didn’t do interactions, and she certainly didn’t meet with those she considered to be a possible threat to her person. Still, if he’d wanted to kill them then they would be dead by now, she suspected. If anything, at least she would be out of the Witch’s Realm and she could also possibly take along Zuberi and Asha. They wouldn’t be so much for protection as they would be for her own comfort. She hated being away from her hyenas, it made her feel lonely and isolated.
Ugh, was more of that disgusting black goo really necessary? Zuri pulled a face as she watched it wriggle around in the figure’s grasp. She didn’t think she’d ever seen anything quite so wrong looking in her entire life, other than snakes of course. Seeing it morph into a small orb did fascinate her, but having it tossed to her surprised her. A rather shrill sounding noise left her as she caught it, cringing as she did so. After seeing what the awful stuff did to Kali on contact, she expected it to burn. Opening one eyes and glancing down at it in her hands, she discovered no such thing was occurring. She was fine.
Examining the apparently glass orb, it was a curious object to be sure. Tapping a nail against the surface of it, she noticed the white dot that seemed to appear and reappear of its own accord. Raising an eyebrow, her gaze turned the figure. Sharm? She’d never heard of the place, but she would find it. As the figure stepped into the circle and completely vanished, Zuri blinked appearing a bit shocked still even after all she’d seen the sorcerer do. Well, that was certainly interesting. Shaking her head and trying to rid herself of the multitude of the confused and somewhat worried thoughts bussing around inside of her skull, she turned to her fellow Witches and crossed her arms, holding the orb firmly in her hand and peering into it curiously,
“So then, who feels up for a bit of a journey?”

Kali was still fazing in and out from her magic being drained but at the sound of the small girls voice her mind came back to her. Kali turned her head to look in the direction of high pitched voice. Her eyes opened wide as she heard the small child calling for her, calling for mommy. Kali didn't say a word as the child came over and reached out and touched her wounds. She winced a bit but tried her best to not show this little girl that she was in a lot of pain.
"Annie..."
The woman cooed to the girls hoping it would clam her but it seemed that didn't work at all. The next thing the tiger witch knew was the small girl had send a tornado at the newly formed man. Kali's heart almost stopped when she say him send the tornado away as thought it was nothing. Only someone truly powerful could stop one of natures most dangerous things. The shock of everything made Kali faze out again.
The tiger witch fell to her knees and was shaking her head as she reached out Annie. Her hand lightly touched the girls shoulders and she spoke in a hushed and low tone.
"Annie dear be calm, be calm... I'm all right... I'm not hurt... That bad."
That was a lie if she had ever told one but she had to try and calm the little witch down or she might get out of control and try and attack this man again and get hurt this time. Kali couldn't deal with the thought of this little girl getting hurt but her attention moved back to the man that had taken her voice. He was talking again and saying something like he was a sorcerer or something like that. Kali had never heard of a man being able to use magic.
She shook her head again and slowly got to her feet. This whole having your magic take was such a jarring event Kali would have rather laid down and slept this off like the tiger she is but there were circumstances that prevented her from doing so but non the less she listen to the conversation between Zuri and this man who she didn't quite hear his name. At the end Kali narrowed her eyes and nodded her head.
"I would be more then happy to help you in this endeavor good sir but first before I join my sister hear in finding you I need to return to India and get my tiger. When I have him with me then I shall join Zuri at the water edge. Till then."

The witches were left to talk amongst themselves in the aftermath of the encounter. No lingering traces of the event could be seen by any bystanders. With only their memories of the encounter the witches would have to decide on their own what to do next. There was always the opportunity to leave and return to the normal workings of their lives. That said the temptation had already been set out for them to take. The opportunity to gain unknown power was out on the table and any witch who followed too closely to her sway of magic would feel the pulling toward the sorcerer. Leaving the final choice to the individuals was a test put forth by the sorcerer. If the witches fought the temptation they would not allow themselves to fully embrace the sway of magic. Only the strongest witches would be of use in any sort of assault against the powers of order. Feeble witches would be of no use as anything more than a base for his experiments. Of course if weak witches were what he was looking for there was no reason to break into the witch’s realm. Fodder for experiments could be picked up with much less hassle and certain results. All things aside it was now in the witch’s hands as to whether they disregarded the offer or if they followed the sorcerer and fought against order and the over encompassing flow of fate. A choice that would determine what next befell the witches. Complete! Rewards:Zuri: 160 Kali: 120 Annie: 60 Cassandra: 40
