Levi was loving the crowd that was gathering around them! Sure the fact that it was all a bunch of commoners was annoying but they were all watching him. At that point Levi didn’t much care about the trash that they were as long as he was their focus of attention. The more people that gathered the more witnesses there would be to watch as he showed up this so called prince who dared to think that he was even close to the same level as Levi! When the chant went up Levi couldn’t help but grin at the excitement of the peasants.
The commoners had no idea what they were looking at. If this Mikhail was actually a prince worth half of what he was trying to be they may potentially see a real fight between two princes. From his past experience during such a confrontation they wouldn’t be able to comprehend the sheer magnitude of what was happening before them. Levi alone was beyond their pathetic level when simply standing in the same room; if he actually fought they wouldn’t know what to do with themselves. Of course the other claimed prince wouldn’t be as excited about the chanting crowd.
As the crowd silenced Levi took on a bored look again. If people weren’t excited what was the point in a confrontation in such a crowded area? The spectator’s reaction was half the fun of fighting! Sure he was used to mainly negative responses to his fighting but it was still a response and still attention directed at him! Caught up in his thoughts Levi didn’t realize that Mikhail had pulled out a glove until he smacked him with it. Overdramatizing the hit Levi turned his head with the hit as if it actually affected him. Listening to his words Levi slowly turned back to face the challenger.
So that’s how it was going to be? Levi stared down Mikhail unamused by the completely unnecessary slap. The only solace that could be taken from it was that he had used a glove so Levi hadn’t actually made contact with a commoner. “Dus dit is je uitdaging vuiligheid?” Realizing he had slipped into Dutch he stopped to continue in English. ”Doesn’t matter to me, I’ll kill you right here and now.” To emphasize his words Levi pulled out Zegen and lazily held it to his side. The sword glowed with the lighting of the room, its true splendor denied by the inaccessibility of sunlight.
”Just don’t get too much of your trash blood on my blade; I wouldn’t want to accidentally touch it.”

The sudden sound of the glove making contacted with the princes face made Bang jump. "DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAME!!!" She says as she looks over at the Russian boy. That was a really good hit he got on Levi. This was going to be a good fight. Bang watched as Levi pulled out his sword and looked around. There was no teacher in sight and no one to regulate the fight. Bang grinned take this new found opportunity upon herself to basically refinery this fight. She had completely forgot about the giant and her tiny Chicness roommate. Bang jumps off the table and stand in between the two princes. "Oh boys seeing as there is no teach here Imma take it upon myself to regulate this fight. I want a clean fight see, no biting, nose pinching, hair pulling, de-pants-ing, you know what that one is ok, scratching, or hitting below the belt.......Or in general anything that I would do. Ok boys it's to first blood, not death Levi. Man you always have to go over bored don't you? ALL RIGHT LETS GET THIS THANG STARTED!!"
Bang jumps away from the guys and scrambled up onto the giants shoulders. "Hope you don't mind big boy better view from waaaaaaaaaaaaaay up here!" This was going to be such a good fight Bang had a feeling. She had been in a few fights herself here at the school but they all ended in odd ways like the one time she ended up in just her bar and underwear. OH MAYBE THAT WILL HAPPEN TODAY!? Levi was already half way there he already ran around with out a shirt on. Bang looked over to her side at her roomy and gave her a smile. "Mei-Mei no reason to freak out everything is going to be all right~ If things get to out of hand I will set in and stop it....The only way I know how..." And by that she meant in a very strange and awkward way. It was something Bang did best. She was already forming a plan in her head on how to stop the fight if thing got out of hand. It mostly involved jumping on one of their back and trying to ride them like a horse. It wasn't a good plan but it was a plan!

Mikhail's attention was now focused solely on Levi. He had a knack for focus and an ability to tune out distractions quite well. He distantly heard the chatter of the other students, like a whisper in a quickly fading dream, but Levi's words were as real as the floor at this moment."I have no wish to kill you, prince. If you wish to fight here and now so be it." Mikhail's voice was cool as ice and his face full of focus.
He pulled his dirk out of it's scabbard. Compared to Levi's garish sword it looked small and ugly, but it as no less deadly in the hands of a competent fighter and no less sharp. He pulled the short sword up to his face and saluted Levi. "En Garde!" Mikhail dropped into a low fighting stance, showing Levi his profile and holding up his cloak as a shield and using it to hide his dirk from Levi's view. He held the dirk's blade right against the wolf-skin cloak ready to jab and parry. His plan was simple, but effective; wait for Levi to make a mistake then come in for a quick jab to his side.
Mikhail waited for Levi to make the first move. Standing almost motionless, it seemed as though he never even blinked, he waited patiently for Levi's opening move.

The thought of Bang possibly stepping in as she said made Mei even more uneasy if at al possible. She certainly wasn’t about to stand between the two nobles but her roommate no doubt would likely only cause more trouble should she feel the need to step in. Mei suspected something with singing and dancing was her plan given how the rainbow girl had entered the cafeteria in the first place. Still, the Chinese girl wasn’t necessarily worried about the duel itself. She knew that students occasionally fought each other for fun or sport, usually under the close surveillance of a teacher. Bang seemed well equipped enough to play the referee, though, given the rules she’d listed all seemed fair.
No, Mei’s main concern was over any injuries that would occur. She’d heard Mikail say something about whoever drew first blood, which could only mean whoever managed to wound their opponent first, would win. While she hoped nobody would be too terribly hurt it was still worrisome to her. She doubted Bang would let either of the young men mortally wound one another, though. They were likely just letting off steam, or so she hoped. Mei was unfamiliar with any sort of royal custom. Duels may very well be quite common in the lives of the two princes and she’d have no idea, she could only speculate.
Mei cast a sideways glance at her roommate. She hadn’t noticed that she’d climbed atop Klaus but she honestly wasn’t surprised. Still, it seemed a tad rude, but if Klaus didn’t object she wasn’t about to scold her for it. It wasn’t as though she’d listen to her anyway. She’d heard Levi say that he would kill Mikhail earlier which certainly brought the Chinese girl worry. Thankfully the seemingly nobler of the two princes attempted to be civil in saying he didn’t want to kill the green haired boy. Mei still worried, though, but what more could she do but hope for a quick fight with little bloodshed? She was nothing but a farm girl after all; it wasn’t her place to say anything. Looking back out at the two princes, Mei sighed and brought her hands together in front of her face as though in prayer, whispering,
“Qǐng shì ānquán de, nínmen liǎ.” ((Please be safe, both of you.))

The idea of Bang judging the fight was humorous to the green haired prince as he let the events around him unfold. Her rules were basic common sense and he had no plans on breaking them. Perhaps one of the few times Levi actually planned on following the rules laid out before him. Not that Levi wouldn’t attempts to sever any of Mikhail’s limbs or end up breaking his nose or appendages. Who could really factor in what kind of collateral damage may occur? Regardless of the outcome Levi wasn’t too inclined to follow that rule of ‘until first blood’, Levi would stop when he felt satisfied that Mikhail had paid for his transgressions.
At the sight of his opponent’s pathetic excuse for a sword Levi made the conscious effort to stop from laughing. Not to say his face didn’t imply it but he wouldn’t give into the desire and present the lesser prince a chance to attack. It really didn’t matter if he was attacked with that baby of a sword, or should he refer to it as glorified kitchenware? Either way he deemed it utterly harmless. If he could handle someone with two real swords and only receive two scars he wasn’t concerned about his opponent’s pocket knife.
”Don’t cry if I break that child’s toy alright?” He thought it only fair that he gave Mikhail a proper warning before they started. It would be a shame to ruin his toy if the so called prince wasn’t expecting it. Mikhail took on some odd stance thing that involved holding his cape for whatever reason. Did he think that would help? Well if he thought it might why not just let him get his dreams get broken. Levi figured he would test this low blooded royal first to see what he had.
It was such a rarity that Levi was presented a chance to fight someone with even the slightest hint of royalty in their blood. For such an occasion it would be a waste to win from the start! Maybe he could show Mikhail the inferiority of his toy first and then draw some blood for the win? That sounded relatively fun. First he wanted to try to get a decent bit of sword fighting in before crushing the low blood. Perhaps he could slash through that ridiculous cape that he was holding? Follow that with a strike to break his nose and the match would be his.
Taking a moment to grasp Zegen with the proper two hands the sword would usually require Levi help the blade in front of his face. Was he giving Mikhail the honor of a salute? Perhaps but only for the entertainment value of the audience. Levi could care less what Mikhail thought but he wanted to show the bystanders what he could do. Still not taking this match seriously he grinned at Mikhail in his usual style ” Bereid je.” Dropping Zegen into his preferred one handed grip the blade moved in a slow arc to his side as Levi got ready.
Only planning to expend minimal effort he still resided in his cocky prince mode instead of the knight persona that he tended to acquire during a real fight. A few stray sparks of wavelength danced around his hand with the slightest hue of green as Levi lowered into a slight crouch. His left hand forming a fist he took a moment to revel in the crowd around him. The applause and cheering that may or may not have been in reality reminded him of why he was bothering to do this in the first place.
Satisfied with his mental basking he looked at Mikhail with his signature grin and launched himself at him. Knowing the capabilities of his body Levi made use of his above average speed to rush the poor trash that challenged him. To keep things entertaining he stopped at a distance where he still had a wide option of movement and swept Zegen up in an arc that would cleanly yet shallowly slice from Mikhail’s hip to his shoulder. If he couldn’t block or dodge this Levi would be better off using his fist to beat him.

Bang suddenly jumps off the giants shoulders and onto the table next to Mei placing a hand on her shoulder trying to clame her roommate down. Bang felt bad for her roomy she was new to this school and wasn't used to the fight that broke out her seemingly all the damn time. She gave Mei a smile and pulled her hand away balling them into fist as she watch the two princes being their fight. "All right we are off to a good start!" Bang got a huge grin on her face. You know what this fight needed other then a ref? It needed an announcer! Of course leave it to Bang to elected herself to be the announcer as well.
She began to speak in a very fast voice not unlike one you would hear if you went to a horse race. No Bang didn't go for the typical fighter announcer voice, why would she do that? This is Bang Bang after all she did everything bass ackwards.
"ANDHERETHEPRINCESCOMEOUTOFTHEBENDMIKHAILTAKEASTANCEASTHOUGHTWAITTINGFORLEVITOMESSUPANDKNOWTHATPIRNCEITWONTTAKELONGANDHERECOMELEVIWITHHISWORDCOMEINGRIGHTFORTHEOTHERPRINCEWHATWILLHAPPENPEOPLELEVITAKESASWINGAND?!"
It was next to impossible to know what she was she was talking so damn fast. She ask began to jump around the table as she announced making it all the more distracting for anyone that was try to watch the fight. Did she care? No not really this was all just a game to the rocket launcher and she was so excited to see who would draw the first blood.

Levi charged. A brash move, Mikhail was slightly amused by the other prince's bravado, or perhaps it was foolishness. Mikhail could have danced around this charge all day, it was plain as day what Levi's intent was as soon as he began to move. Mikhail wondered if he should just end the fight before it became embarrassing for Levi.
Mikhail stood stark still in the wake of Levi's advance. Hidden behind his cloak he took a step back, keeping his arm extended so it appeared he hadn't moved. At the last second he snapped his arm next to his torso, Levi's sword grazed a few hairs on the cloak. Mikhail had his opening, he threw his cloak up in front of Levi's face to conceal himself and then he lunged forward seeking to gain the advantage of Levi's guard. Despite the fact that Levi's sword was longer, and probably of better quality than Mikhail's practical dirk, the dirk gave him a clear advantage. Once Mikhail was inside Levi's guard the fight would be as good as over. At least this is all what Mikhail thought to himself.
Mikhail, now barely a foot away from Levi, threw a half-hearted thrust at Levi's side, just below the right rib cage. It wouldn't kill him, not by a long shot, if it connected it would do little more than pierce skin, which is exactly what Mikhail wanted. The stabbing action was much quicker than a slash would ever be, and Mikhail had less area to cover. Mikhail's hope was that he had stolen the advantage from Levi and would force him to be on the defensive.
All the while Mikhail's cool blue eyes never left Levi's. He was watching his pupil's closely, Mikhail was skilled enough a fighter that he could anticipate his opponents movement simply by the contraction of expansion of their irises. Mikhail's face was a blank slate, cool and steely like his dirk.

With the two princes having begun the battle, Mei merely looking on with a look of mild worry on her face. Feeling a hand on her shoulder, the Chinese girl hunched a her shoulders a bit at the unexpected physical contact. It was only Bang Bang though so she quickly relaxed and looked at her roommate with a timid smile. It was nice to know that the rainbow haired girl was trying to comfort her although it wasn’t terribly necessary. Mei wasn’t about to break down into tears over a cafeteria duel. She was still worried over the two princes, though, despite the fact that the two boys were likely more than capable of handling themselves. Still, it made Mei uneasy to watch her classmates fight amongst each other, even if it was for the sake of honor in this case.
Bang seemed to be enjoying herself at least. Mei watched the actual fight start with Levi being the one to make the first move. The Chinese girl didn’t have much fighting experience other than the friendly matches with her cousins back on the farm, and even then they were only messing around. She hadn’t doubted that the princes would likely be skilled, as was being proven right before her eyes. Mikhail looked far more serious about the match than Levi, though. Mei personally thought him wiser as well for waiting to see what his opponent would do first before making a move himself. She was soon distracted by Bang, which really wasn’t all that surprising.
How on earth did he roommate manage to talk that fast? Mei caught every other word, but more than that was especially impossible for her to understand. She had an okay understanding of English give or take a few errors here and there, but with Bang talking at such a rapid speed it was difficult to discern individual words, let alone derive meaning from them. She caught mention of Levi and Mikhail which was a given considering she was speaking about the ongoing fight, but other than that she didn’t know exactly what was said. Even more distracting was that she began jumping from table to table, also not terribly surprising given her hyperactive tendencies. Mei merely sighed and turned her eyes back to the two princes. The thought crossed her mind that she really needn't be present for such a spectacle. Her time would be much better spent studying or wandering about searching for a partner. Looking at Bang, she thought it best to tell her roommate she would have to be absent to the rest of the fight,
"Bang Xiǎojiě, I-I am afraid I-I must t-take my leave f-for now. I w-will see you back a-at the dorms."
That having been said, Mei bowed to her friend and hurried away towards the door. Once outside the cafeteria, she breathed a huge sigh of relief. The atmosphere in there had been far too intense for her. Yes, it was better she invest her time in other things. With that thought in her mind, Mei made her way down the hall and away from the dining hall turned sparring ground.

Everything seemed to be falling into place. Levi could hear the voice of the walking rainbow but not what she was saying, not that it mattered. He would just assume that she was saying something to glorify him regardless of what it was. Mikhail wasn’t running away like a scared child so either he was terribly stupid or had some kind of plan. Levi wasn’t terribly concerned and followed through with his plan. Without hesitation he swung his blade at Mikhail in his planned arc. Grazing the cloak was not intended but it was a start for such a lazy attack.
As soon as his strike missed Levi’s mind began to wander. What was Mikhail going to do? Was he going to slash with that pathetic toy of a weapon? Where was he going to aim the attack for? The cloak was an unexpected move but Levi wasn’t one to be so easily stopped. As the cloak rose up to his face Levi hoped the crowd of commoners had the common sense to stay out of his way. Not jumping back exactly he did recede to the side to escape the cloak and remain at a distance from Mikhail even with his lunge.
Mikhail’s plan was fairly obvious. It made sense even if it wasn’t entirely accurate. Getting too close would limit the range of movement Levi had for his rather sweeping swings. This would cause some problems for his attacks as well as allow the smaller weapon to get more in. Of course this plan hinged on the concept that Mikhail could get close enough to cause said limitations on Zegen, as well as the belief that he would be safe if he were to get within that range. Both ideas were false so the threat toward Levi was reduced.
Levi wished they were outside so that he could make use of Zegen’s gaudiness but that was a factor he could not always count on. With little to no chance of blinding Mikhail he had to make due with the physical features of his sword instead. Being at a less than ideal distance Levi wouldn’t back away but he wasn’t foolish enough to stand his ground only to get hit. Noticing Mikhail looking at him Levi looked back with no real interest. His eyes relaxed and his face grinning Levi had yet to take Mikhail seriously. Despite the interesting and rather good strategy he was still just trash.
Noticing the thrust Levi took an average step back and lowered his sword to intercept it. The stab down was intended to block the toy weapon with the flat of the blade and allow his to swing upward after to land a hit. To add to this Levi didn’t simply block randomly, the tip of his sword was headed for Mikhail’s foot. With a bit of luck he would stab him and win the match here. Even if he happened to miss the upward sweep could finish it and if that failed he could adapt accordingly. Worse case he let Mikhail get close like he wanted and disregard Zegan to punch him.

Bang gasped at what she was seeing placing her hands over her mouth, not even realizing that Mei had left the room. Then suddenly she got a look of being very bored as she jumped from one side of the table to the other getting closer to the two boy. "OH COME ONE YOU TWO!! We are here for a fight not this little girls tiff! I mean really I was hoping for a last more from you Levi! But this?! This fight is sooooooo lame! My grandmother could fight better them this and she is a very old lady!" It was clear that the two boys where trying to get the fight over with as fast as they could and Bang could not have that! She wanted action! She wanted thrill! SHE WANTED A HAM SANDWICH! But it was clear that she wasn't going to get anything that she wanted right now so she would have to change some things up.
She looked around at the table she was on and got a big ol' Bang Bang grin on her face. Oh yes she knew how she was going to liven up this fight even if it meant that she would get hurt in the acted. Bang looked back to the boys that she was close to with that same grin on her face. "Lets make this fight a little more fun shall we?" She then picks up several plates, forks, and knives that where laying around her. "HEADS UP BOYS!!"
And just what you would expected Bang began the throw the plates, forks and knifes at the two fighting princes. This would be a very annoying distraction for the two of them. Now not only did they have to watch out for each other they would have to watch out for random items that the colorful rocket launcher was throwing at them both. Bang laughed like a mad woman as she picked items up and chucked them, hitting a few students that had stood by to watch the fight. "HAHAHAHAH FEEL MY RAINBOW BOREDOM! NOW THIS IS GOING TO BE A GOOD FIGHT!"
