Early to bed, early to rise. This rule did not apply to the Energetic Meister. Kaylin was almost constantly on the move. Early to bed was rare and early to rise was constant. In fact... this seemed very similar to another day she had had.... How recent was that? She didn't know! And it didn't matter! Pulling on her normal attire of various blues, boots, gloves, ‘jumpsuit’, and cropped tank, the girl was out the door in moments. A smile on her face as always, her short brown locks going every which way… It was a normal sight to see if anyone ever bothered to be up that early. Kaylin had her whip attached to her hip as was normal for this outfit of hers, but the new addition to her was a large sugary pastry she held in her hands. A friend from Shibusen had supplied her with a small box of pastries. He…. Wasn’t exactly good at baking, Kaylin was the only one who ever accepted his offerings… but how she enjoyed them!
Munching on her pastry as she began her morning outing into the city, the girl hummed a tune as she chomped away at her glorious food. The tune held no real melody, one might even wonder if she even knew how to hold a pitch. But down the street she went, no care in the world. As the female finished off the last bite of sugary goodness, the remnants still remained. A light circle of sticky sugar was around her mouth, and the gooey substance even lined her fingers and edges of her fingerless gloves.
And like that she was off. No care in the world about how messy she might look, the meister had taken into a complete run down the street. Not many people were out yet, but that really didn’t come into focus for her. Kaylin was happy just to take part in her normal morning antics. Her first stop seemed to be the swimming pool. It wasn’t even open yet, the barely waking sun just peaking out from the earth. The little meister would never have a care for such things. Climbing nimbly over the gate and landing easily upon the other side, she’d wipe her hands in front of herself in glorious triumph, giggling like a child. Dashing across the pool area, no one could ever tell her not to run! Not even at an empty pool. She raced for one of the diving boards, scrambling to the top like the little monkey she was. Then, she’d walk out onto it. Perching herself in a sitting position on the end, hands gripping the sides and feet swinging over the edge, she’d grin brightly and stare down at the large plastic covered pool.
“Oh what a beautiful morrrninnggg!”
She’d sing the line. Badly. Out of tune. But very obviously TRYING to sing that line, even if she knew not where it came from
