It was about time.
There were books she had read, articles, even classes that revolved around what she had her mind on. Soul Resonance. Between her and Levi. They had proven compatible so far, he had been able to wield her mostly successfully, they had taken down a few kishin eggs, and were even a star higher. Levi was certainly strong enough to take another step forward, but she wondered whether he had the control. On the other hand, she felt she had the control… but could she handle that wavelength in a different way?
A brief spark of memory reverberated through her mind and seemingly her whole body. That first time she had felt his soul, been in his hands. It was best described as a shock. She hadn’t felt it since, but it was one of the oddest things she had experienced in her life. One could barely call it a physical pain… it was just… different. If that came at her again, in different ways, she wasn’t sure how long she could take that.
Sighing quietly, she let her expression sit into that empty look. Taking a single swing at a dummy with her right arm, her fist landed square in its ‘face.’ She had to calm down and she had to be ready. Class had ended not too long ago. Having spoken briefly to her partner before he could get his princely butt home, or wherever he went, she felt she had indeed succeeded in convincing him to come train with her. Trying to keep it simple, mention how it could make him stronger against newer opponents, or at least give him another thing to get better at, she hoped he would actually show up.
Her fist returned closer to her body, both arms held easily in front of her, bent at the elbow, fisted, and ready to strike. She had no real form present, just relaxed and ready. Taking a silent breath in and exhaling slowly, she shifted her weight evenly from one foot to the other. Eyes on the dummy, mind on what lay ahead. Her left fist swung and hit the target. What might their resonance be like? And her fist returned to her. Could they even succeed in a day at something like this? Her right fist plunged forward. What if he ended up re--
Halting her thought, she brought her right hand back to her and opened up both her fists. A keen eye would catch a small bit of shaking in her hands as she brought them to her head. Running her fingers through her hair as she pushed it back and away from her face, her eyes glanced towards the door.
All she had to do was wait for Prince Levi Kastein.
