Riordan; Stella; Meister
Name: Stella Riordan
Nickname: Stell (Though she prefers Stella by quite a bit)
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Race: Meister
Position: Student
Class: One Star
Partner: Cecil Amier
A Strong Body
Picture:
Appearance: Stella is of fairly average looking teenage girl. Nothing unusual about her particularly stands out, other than her ridiculously bright eyes of a lime green. She has light, peach skin, which has quite obviously been cleansed frequently. Her burnt orange hair also is well kept. Though very long, reaching to her lower back, and somewhat messy at times, it always seems to be fairly shiny. Her hair is pretty basically styled, just being left down, though two locks she always leaves in the front are much longer than the rest of her hair. Stella's eyelashes are fairly long, and her eyebrows skinny. Her nose and mouth are also fairly small.
Stella holds herself in a very lady-like manner. Though she doesn't have the manners to match her stature, she stands/sits/kneels with a straight back at all times. Her physique isn't exactly unique, with all feminine features being averagely sized. Her legs and arms are both slender, forbidding her from wielding anything heavy. Her facial and body expressions general portray innocence, which is something that particularly irks her.
Green is obviously Stella's favorite color, as she wears it more frequently than any other. It simply suits her. Most of the time she wears a green trench coat, even inside. She usually only wears clothing of one color, as anything more would prove to be somewhat garish. Her normal shoes are that of laced up boots. They appear to be thin, but not something to be normally warm in seasons other than winter.
Height: 5'4"
Weight: 132 lbs
Fighting Style: Stella will generally try to out think her opponent. Brute force is not something she is particularly good with. She will also count on her own speed and agility to confuse the target. Due to this, heavy weapons don't suit her in the slightest. Stella is fairly good at finding weak spots on people, though can also be intimidated fairly easy, losing her focus and basically entire ability to fight. Despite these tactics, she prefers short range weapons to long range ones. Stella isn't exactly a good shot, meaning she would take a while to aim a long ranged weapon should she use one, completely destroying the possibility of using her agility to overwhelm the target. Due to constant nagging about how she should try to get better with her aim (mostly by her father), Stella has become very obstinate on only using short ranged weapons.
Personality: Narrow mindedness is the attribute Stella gets referred to the most. For good reason, of course. Stella sees almost everything in black and white, not taking time to figure out the big picture of something. Sometimes she'll even try not to. Ignorance can be far more comforting than knowledge of the truth, after all. Due to this narrow mindedness, Stella also lets first impressions weigh in heavily on her decision of how much she likes someone. Few things will sway this initial opinion.
Stella likes to keep to herself. Since she forms opinions on people immediately after meeting them, she won't find much of a need to further converse with anyone. Talking to people is rather boring to her, after all. The average person doesn't look spectacular enough to keep her attention, and Stella usually doesn't like many different kinds of personalities. In other words, she is in high preference of being alone instead of around people. Furthermore, her dislike of crowds means she will constantly slip away to be alone.
Though Stella usually tries to be rather polite and ladylike as to leave a good first impression, she can't keep up the charade forever. A lot of things get under her skin. As a lot of things people do annoy her, she'll sometimes snap at people on random. Usually she only snaps at people she knows and likes, as they normally wouldn't suddenly start to hate her for throwing a temper tantrum. At least she would hope so, anyway.
Stella will also pretend to be much more overconfident than she actually is. She can be a bit of a perfectionist and overly harsh on herself, leading the girl to actually not have great self esteem. Being constantly alone and therefore not receiving input from others doesn't exactly help that either. Stella puts on a charade of knowing what she is doing and being confident in what she is doing as to avoid such insecurities being brought up.
If one isn't exactly a fan of Stella's personality, they do have one saving grace. This would be her obsessive nature. Stella will completely fangirl over anything that relates to any of her interests, and become rather sweet and cute. This mostly refers to her laying eyes on something adorable, but applies to any other interest she may have as well.
Inside the Soul
Abilities: Stella's only ability is that of Soul Perception, which she has grown rather fond of. Though not very polished, she can sense souls about 8 or so feet away. She can only see the color of a soul, unable to read them. Furthermore, Stella can only see souls for up to five seconds, though that's more enough time. To activate this ability, she must concentrate on ignoring all of her senses (sight, hearing, etc.). Should she not succeed in doing this, it'll take her some time to gain her concentration again.

Weaknesses: 1. Physically Weak 2. Lack of Combat Skills 3. Low Endurance 4. Low Stamina
Hobbies: Though Stella generally doesn't find most things exactly fun, she certainly enjoys things she finds satisfying. This mostly consists of drawing and writing. She's attempted to take up journalism before, but failed at it. Horribly. Stella also enjoys walking in rural areas, simply observing the scenery.

Aspirations: Stella's aspirations are not very original. She simply wishes to defeat people (or rather things) she deems to be bad. Those being witches and kishin, mainly. She wishes to also be very powerful when compared to others around her, as extremely unlikely as that might be.
History: Stella leads a fairly average life, with not much of note happening in the fifteen years before she decided to attend Shibusen as a Meister. She was born in eastern Ireland during the sunny month of May (the 2nd). Not too long after her birth, her parents divorced, leaving her to live with her father. While in no way a bad man, in fact a very nice person, Stella never quite liked her father. Something about him always bothered her. He filled both the role of a mother and father, and never ever considered spoiling his daughter, nor showing her much love in general. Meaning the two were never exactly on the best of terms.
Due to her dislike of her father, Stella would try to be away from him as often as possible. This led her to develop her anti social attitude at a very young age. When she started attending classes, she would focus on doing well grade wise instead of having many - if any - friends. Though she was perfectly content, the young girl always wished for something of vague interest to happen in her life. Life was boring.
This thing of vague interest happened when she was around 10. Stella learned that she was able to see the souls of people. Though at first she wasn't sure what to make of her new found abilities, or what they even were, she soon learned that these were powers belonging to meisters, wielders of humans who could transform into weapons. Now that was something interesting! Stella poured herself into teaching herself all she could about the techniques of wielding a weapon. Her father even helped, seemingly very happy with the idea of his daughter enrolling in Shibusen.
When she grew to the age of fifteen, Stella finally enrolled in Shibusen. She had not a single problem with leaving her home country to train as a meister. Infact, it was one of the most exciting things she had done in a long while.
Extra Notes: Owns a Sugar Glider named Amora - Intro Post
Behind the strings
Alias: Direbolt
Other characters: Elias Larenz, Cendrine Calida, Cyrille Lécuyer, and Ivor Moores
RP Sample: Stella allowed herself but one heavy sigh as she finally arrived in Death City. She had decided to bring nothing but a medium sized suitcase, which she rolled behind her. Rolling her sore neck, she swept a hand through her burnt orange hair as to make sure it wasn't too messy. "Jeez. Never been on a plane for that long before..." She muttered to herself once she had broken away from the crowd exiting the plane.
Though the girl had every intent to head to Shibusen as quickly as possible, it would simply be a crime to visit a new city, especially one she would now be residing in, and not taste some coffee from the nearest cafe. Once she had located it, she purchased her coffee to go. After all, Shibusen was known for its ridiculously long staircase. She'd need some energy to climb it.
Letting out another heavy sigh, Stella began the climb up the stairs. At about the halfway mark, she was already exhausted. The coffee wasn't exactly helping either, as it wasn't very good. In all fairness, she had bought the cheapest one, but still. "Jeez. This is never gonna end, is it?!" She exclaimed, scratching her head harshly, then smoothing out the hair she had just tampered with.
After yet a few more minutes of climbing, Stella had finally reached the top of the stairs. Her legs shook slightly, but she soon regained her composure and swept a hand through her hair. Fortunately, no one was around to see her break of posture due to the fatigue. "Alright...!" The girl said, still panting softly, though she gave a determined smile. "Best get going, then!"

Stella’s looking pretty stellar, but there’s still a few things that need tweaking. First, please change your account name to match your character’s name, first and last. Her fighting style feels a bit confusing to us, mainly if she doesn’t like brute force, then wouldn’t she be more preferable towards ranged Weapons instead? Reading her personality, it feel like it’s focused more on how others view her rather than on Stella herself. Just something we thought we should note. To be in the One star class, Stella would need at least one ability, either Soul Perception or Soul Purge. Otherwise she’d be in the NOT class. For her history, this also needs to be at least 300 words. One does not simply decide they will be a Meister. Stella would have needed to show some form of ability of being a Meister beforehand in order to attend Shibusen, whether it be Soul Perception or Soul Purge. These things are often triggered accidentally, usually around when puberty starts, but that isn’t to say that there early or late bloomers. Again, Meisters without at least one ability would be NOT class. How did she train for five years? Did she learn from someone or did she research things on her own? Other than that, I think she sounds like an interesting one, and I can’t wait to see her in action!

Please let me know if any other issues arise, and thanks! ^^

One last thing! With her Soul Perception, you’ll need to describe how it works under abilities. If there’s a preferred way she activates it, how long her range is, when she’s likely to use it, etc. If you want to look at examples, Cyrus Owen currently holds the longest range, and Chiyo Fukui recently purchased the ability in the point shop if you’d like to see more of what a base level of Soul Perception would be. As an added note, I’m gonna go ahead and mention that Stella also sounds at present like she is going to be difficult to partner with and have on hell of a time fighting given her strengths and weaknesses. However that’s all opinion. If you’re fine with that, then pay me no mind~ That’s all that’s left to do. Other than that, Stella looks good!

As for the difficulty with her, I am well aware. I've always enjoyed characters that are kinda difficult to roleplay as, for whatever reason. Thanks!
