Ah yes, Kishin Eggs. It’s hard to resist having at least one evil character. Being evil is just so much fun! Having trouble coming up with an idea? Well then you’re lucky I love making lists so much, because this little list here will give you a few great ideas. RESERVED

Draven Blood and Vampirism
Basic creatures to base a Kishin Egg on: - Vampires There are so many ways you could swing this. There are different versions of vampires all over the world; hence why a Kishin Egg based on vampire lore could be so many different things. In recent years they’re glorified as being drop dead gorgeous, cunning, and all around irresistible. Go back to the days of the Black Plague, and vampires were bloated and ugly creatures that smelled horrible. On the one hand your Kishin Egg could look like a super model with ridiculously pointy teeth and claws for fingernails and upon attacking would show they’re true form as being hideous and ugly. Then again, you could also just have them look like horrible beasts with overgrown fangs and what look like mangled and clawed paws for hands. They might be able to fly, they might not. Maybe they can turn into bats, maybe not. It’s all up to you.
- Demons Again, so many different ways to use this for inspiration. There are so many different types of demons that looking around on Wikipedia for ten minutes alone would probably give most people more ideas then they could ever use for a character. Fire demons, wind demons, disease spreading demons, ect. Some have scales, some look like normal humans, others travel in the form of a shadow, and then there are some who take the shape of animals. The sky is the limit here. Maybe your Kishin Egg is a terrible shadow beast with the body of a lion and the head of a wolf that flies around on bone wings. Then again, maybe a completely normal looking Kishin Egg that lures people in through seduction is more you speed. Maybe the Kishin Egg goes from town to town spreading illness and devours the souls of the townspeople as they perish from disease. Only you can decide.
- Animals Pick and animal, any animal. Let’s use a horse in this case. Now, say that horse was exposed to something that caused it to change. Suddenly its hooves were razor sharp, it’s teeth resembled fangs, it’s mane and tail turned into flames and it can control any shadows in its direct vicinity. Sounds like a Kishin Egg to me! Kishin Eggs don’t have to look human; they just need to have been human at some point. The longer they are Kishin Eggs, the more monstrous they become. Perhaps this Kishin Egg was once a farm hand who was picked on all their life and thought maybe if they devoured souls they would become more powerful. Over time as they continued devouring souls, they lost more and more of their humanity and thus their form changed to a more fitting persona.
