She just had to get out of here!
There was so much she could be doing except staying here. Really, going to visit the school’s nurses wasn’t the worst idea in the world…. but the amount of time it was taking was almost more than Jo could handle. She was trying to be a nice enough partner, afterall, Elias had wanted her to go get checked out. The young meister had been pretty sick, she even broke his arm! That couldn’t completely be blamed on her sickness… but it certainly hadn’t helped her control at all.
Jo found herself at the dispensary. She had been checked up on, given a few pills for the next few days just to make sure she got fully better, and now… she waited. There were a few other things they wanted to check up on. So she had been waiting on one of the hospital-esque beds. Sitting on the edge, leaning forward with her hands on her knees. Elbows slightly bent, she looked as if she might leap from her spot and tackle the next person who crossed in front of her. The smirk on her lips helped none.
Man was she itching to get out of here.
She could go work out for a bit. Or find a sparring partner. Or food… yea. Food would be great! She never got a steak from that little cafe with the weird costumes. Steak was pretty awesome. Now even more ready to move, her mouth watering at the thought of eating, her mind raced in wonder if the cafeteria would be open at such a time. It was between her classes… so it probably would be. Would she have enough time?
Glancing to a clock on the wall to check the time, she realized that it didn’t really matter. Food was obviously much more important than missing a small chunk of a lesson. People in the world starved! But they often didn’t die of lower grades. Making up her mind to go get some food, she was quite ready and happy to see the nurse coming her way.
Jo was given a few instructions that she barely paid attention to, told to come back, a few small little checks like blood pressure and whatnot, and then the ‘free to go’ signal was given. Well, they told her. She could go. Jo shot up like a bolt of lightning, almost knocking the woman over. While she didn’t run from the room, she certainly was moving with purpose.
Now where was that darn exit? Lord Death be with anyone who entered her path.
