(Post as to how Stella gets her sugar glider thing.)
It had been a rather long day for one of the most recently enrolled students in Shibusen. Not that anything of particular interest had happened. Okay, so she had signed up with a partner after talking to him for about ten minutes, but other than that, nothing. Night had fallen fairly quickly, causing the girl to shiver slightly. Despite the jacket she wore, and the hot climate of the desert, she was absolutely freezing. Most people would suggest something being seriously wrong with her, but she didn't particularly care about the ideals of most people. No, no. Stella simply tightened one of her hand's grips on the end of her jacket, hoping the tightness would hold more body heat.
The dark forest had a kind of eerie atmosphere to it. Most people, other than her, would prefer to not lie on a bench in such a place at night time, but Stella certainly wasn't most people. She came from Ireland, after all. Creepy atmospheres was kinda the specialty there, due to the fog and cloudy skies the country was very well known for. Stella found the ambient sound of the forest rather peaceful, actually. At least she did, until something squeaked right by her head.
The sudden noise caused the girl to jump up from where she was lying, and sit up straight. She looked around, trying to find the cause of the sound. Peeling back a few of the leaves behind where her head was, a pair of huge eyes stared at her, before quickly disappearing back into the brush. "Huh?" Stella pondered aloud, crossing her arms over her chest.
Suddenly, the collar on her jacket felt a bit heavier. The difference wasn't all that noticeable, but just noticeable enough for the girl to take notice. Stella spun around quickly as to see if she could spot the reason for the additional weight. After a pause of the girl doing nothing, she grabbed the front bit of her collar. Stella had realized that turning around would not, infact, enable her to see what had attached itself to her back. She attempted to tug on the collar until the back part was visible enough so she could see what had landed on her.
Instead of immediately spotting the culprit, she felt something dig into her hand. Freezing, Stella did nothing until the tingly sensation had disappeared, meaning it couldn't have wandered under her jacket as she was wearing long sleeves. Once it did, she let out a shrill scream and flailed her arm around as to rid herself of anything that might have crawled up her arm. She suspected a rodent of sorts, most likely a rat. After she was most sure of the flailing doing the trick, she put her arm out in front of her as to get a better view of it.
The marsupial who had attached itself to her had, infact, not left, and was hanging off of her arm from it's tail. Normally, Stella would scream again and attempt to remove the creature yet again, but she didn't say a word, nor moved, giving the sugar glider the ability to crawl back on top of her arm.
Now, Stella's normally sarcastic, cold, and otherwise unlikable personality was easily broken when she saw something that peaked her interests. Cute things were one of said items of interest. After quite a while of staring, the girl suddenly scooped up the marsupial, bringing it to her chest, though making sure not to squish it. As she did this, she quickly spun around. "Ah! You're so cute!" She exclaimed. Should there be anyone else in the forest, they had most definitely heard her by now.
The sugar glider had stopped moving, quite surprised and scared by the sudden outburst. As it began to move again, it suddenly stopped. Why, this person was rather warm! The sugar glider liked warm things, and began to snuggle up to Stella's chest. "Ah, and you like me too, hm?" Stella asked, with the same enthusiasm as her initial outburst. The sugar glider did nothing, too enthralled in the warmness of Stella to do anything. Stella eventually caught on to this, and unbuttoned the top of her jacket, placing the sugar glider in one of the pockets on the inside of it. It still looked rather content, even more so, and squeaked happily.
And that was when Stella had an idea. Most likely an unethical idea that most people would consider stealing, but those people weren't here so their opinions didn't matter. "I bet you'd like to come with me, hm? You certainly seem content, after all! But I guess you'd need a name..." Stella said, raising a hand to her chin to ponder the possible name decisions. She then jerked the arm down with an expression of clarity. "How about Amora? I quite like the name, myself. Plus, I think it's fitting." As she said this, the girl buttoned up her coat again, and began to head back to residence. She'd have to do a bit of research on how to take care of Amora, but it was certainly nothing she couldn't handle.
